Do NOT go to the one by Big Y. Go to the federal st store. The one by Big Y rips you off. 5 out of 10 items will ring up wrong. Then you have to wait while they go verify the correct price. It is no exaggeration it's THAT bad. They do not update the prices on the racks so you never know what your really paying. If you go there PAY ATTENTION to what your paying for your items. Guarantee items will ring up more expensive.

Heavy set “kid” with the pink hair at the cash register should have been fired on day 1. It is legitimately shocking that he is still employed there and allowed to interact with customers. I would always stop in there for things if I needed them- now I will not only make it a point never to go there but I will also tell everyone who cares to listen why they shouldn’t go there either. When that malignant vaginal blister isn’t working there anymore, I’ll start shopping there again.

This was my first time here... And I have to say, that this place is beautiful! The staff was very helpful w info. Also mostly friendly, and welcoming. There are alot of beautiful trails to walk, hike, and bike. Two small ponds that are easily accessible. North, and South Pond. North pond is very clean and a wonderful place to take the family for a picnic and swimming. It's the perfect place to just relax on a float out in the middle of the water with no boat traffic, besides a few canoes or kayaks. By far my favorite part is how open the campground is, which makes for an amazing experience stargazing. I can't wait for the next trip I plan to take up to Savoy Mountain. Absolutely a hidden gem, and the perfect place to get away from everything! Loved it, I recommend it 100%!!!

Customer service is 50/50.. The employees are nice, very polite, and always greet you with a smile. Prices are great too! However though, they only seem to have one cashier most of the time. This unfortunately causes a checkout to be ridiculously long. It is, what it is and I'll continue to shop there.

It's cheap and it's right there for most of my cheap needs.Wickedly confusing for finding stuff but you'll figure it out eventually. The staff doesn't seem that motivated but they're friendly enough. It feels overstuffed and disorganized but I don't expect much more from a business that charges under $5 for almost everything.Pros:- Good parking- Cheap stuff- Nice enough staff- Food is sold here tooCons:- Disorganized- Confusingly marked prices- Dimly lit- Quality of goods is not amazing (But what did you expect?)

Good parking! Thats about the only thing good! Selection is spotty! Aisles are narrow! Cluttered and messy. Very hard to shop and checking out is a trial! Cashiers more worried about smoke breaks and they stink! Lets get a reality check please! Editing today; 11/7/20; all new set up; new refrigerated section; much better shopping experience! Clerks are excited with the new set up as well!

This store (Federal Street) is filthy. Messy, disorganized, terrible.The last time I was in here I swore to never return. The only reason I even went in today was there was a sign outside saying they had remodeled.....that is a joke. They have not remodeled, they haven't even cleaned. The floor is filthy. I don't know who is in charge of this place but it absolutely disgusting. I will absolutely write corporate and notify the board of health. Ick!

They closed down last year for a while to reorganize things, but the place constantly looks like a pigsty. Stuff all on the floors, containers constantly in the way. Poor management. Stuff needs to either be shipped off or put up properly, cause this isn’t a place anyone wants to shop at.

Love the variety of merchandise. They have an actual bathroom for the shoppers to use which is great. Could use a lot more staff and a less congested walking space. Still my preferred Dollar General location in town.

If I could give zero stars I would.This store was so dirty and messy. Also, virtually all the aisles were blocked or crammed with new shipments in boxes stalked a mile high. I was saddened to see older folks unsteady on their feet trying to maneuver in and out of these aisles. Being pregnant my self, I couldn't even fit down most of the aisles.This store had so many safety hazards. I will not be back.

This stores great for a quick stop or for the necessities, the staff is polite and patient and they even have tiny shopping carts for toddlers too! There's everything from toiletries to clothes to snacks it's like a tiny Wal-Mart...tons of variety and great prices.

You can find almost anything you need there, but I just mean that it is there, not that you'll be able to easily locate it within the store. Popular items sell quickly and sometimes take a long time to get restocked. The clerks are very friendly but seem like there are no managers making sure things get done. But overall, it is my number one place to shop in my area and trust me, there are many other places but they all sell super over priced items.

Went to the store on Federal St. A couple of times there seems that there are boxes of merchandise in the isles waiting to be shelved. Dangerous when looking at shelves for a item. The staff are pleasant. The store could use a good cleaning.

These stores are a dime a dozen. This store Dollar General has the average dollar store items . I gave 3 star's because it has a larger than normal food section. BE ADVISED. When buying any generic liquid item's such as hydrogen peroxide to cough syrup. These are some of the most profitable black market fake items there are. Stick to the name brands in stores like these. Even so if its to good to be true then it is. Better safe than sorry. Overall I will continue to shop here for detergent and minor household items etc.

It's a good place to do some general shopping and honestly one of the better DG's I've been in. That said, I am surprised that there hasn't been more accidents here from people driving in/out of the parking lot. I don't know who designed the entrance to this place but it is bad, way too small and poorly situated right in front of the doors.

The Staff has always been happy to help me find the items I'm looking for. They have a little bit of this and that and pretty good prices. It's a ways for me to walk to the one here in Greenfield that is on Federal St. From my apartment but it's worth it.

Employees can make you feel uncomfortable by being followed and pretend Their doing something. Some are rude or not working cleanliness could get tidy so its easir to go through aisles.

It's the only store we have here in greenfield quite frankly even in the surrounding towns...no excuse me we have a dollar store toooo..so I guess I got to like it.. the carry what I need good deals on curtain rods things like that but be careful a dollar can turn I to 500.00 pretty quickly..

I bought some infant's ibuprofen here earlier today, I just went to try giving it to my 1 yr old and noticed a weird milky substance in the container then I saw it expired 2 months ago. I went over to try and return it at 9:03 pm, when according to the website they close at 10pm when I walked up to the door the lights went out, and the door was locked. I find it very strange, be aware of expired products here.

They always seem to have a lot of product, and fair prices. This store seems particularly overcrowded compared to others. The parking lot is always dirty and not kept looking good.

This is your basic dollar general, its not the neatest or best store out there by any means but it has 90% of your basic needs for really cheap prices, its very convenient for low income people. They also have small variety of food and accept ebt.

Disorganized, very dusty, shelves not recovered, littered parking lot, weeds growing thru driveway and sidewalk. Ice cabinet smells. Milk coolers never quite cool enough, smells like stale milk. Expired candy bars on shelf at register check out.

This place is alright I guess. People steal a lot from here all the time though. This place was remodeled very recently. I haven't seen it myself yet but my brother told me it looks way way better than before.

Slow checkout lines. Store is not clean or organized. It seems like a thrift store the way you have to HUNT for items and rifle through junk ( and it's all junk). OK if you have coupons say for garbage bags....but 1.00 off of 7.00 is really no bargain for 38 bags.
