One of the cashier at big y told my boyfriend that they couldn’t run his check through the machine because it was to big, someone else did run the check before and had no problem doing it. I don’t appreciate the attitude that my boyfriend got from this cashier. She should get a talking to because that’s not okay being rude at the job. I don’t think she should be working there because of her attitude that she gave my boyfriend.

Big Y has really upped their game. This store is gorgeous and clean, has an amazing selection of organic and allergy conscious, and gas a really large section of ready-made. You walk into the smell of pizza! Their prices are very competitive, and I'm going to be shipping they more often to take advantage of the deals. Very accessible as well.

I ordered a birthday cake at the bakery for my eight year old granddaughter that wanted flamingos and they did a great job!! It was delicious too !! I will continue to get all my birthday cakes there!!Thank you so much !!

At 8:00PM on Sunday, April 7, I was asking the manager legitimate questions about one of their policies because it didn't make sense. She got really hateful and I told her there was no need to get an attitude with me, at which point she proceeded to turn around and walk away rather than answer my questions. If you're going to be a retail manager you really need to learn proper customer service and how to speak to people. This was completely unacceptable behavior from a member of management. I regret not getting her name.

Great place to swing in and get a quick warm bite to eat and of course good to do your grocery shopping at a decent price. They have a little cafe so you can sit down and eat some of the prepared foods like chicken and pizza that pretty good

Good generic big grocery market. Covid measures in place. Wished the carts sanitation process was more active with staff doing it than passive waiting for customers to stop by the station at the entrance, bur the staff are all very friendly and courteous!

I come here almost every day. The employees are always polite, friendly, and helpful. The store is always clean, tidy, and organized. They have just about everything I need/want. From baked goods to baby wipes, vodkas to vaccines, sushi to scratch tickets, pizza pies to puppy chow, international ingredients to individually prepared (fresh) meals, western union to wellness, floral arrangements to frozen foods, coin star machine to can and bottle redemption center, and so on and forth. I my Big Y ❤️

Good seafood season. Even 100 miles from home, I brought shrimp easy to peel n eat. I would have grabbed the Oyster selection but my shell shucker wasn't with ne.

This is the fanciest, cleanest, most well cared for Big Y I've ever seen in my entire life. It's almost worth stopping just to look at it. Whoever's in charge really cares.

I had my first racism experience in the U.S. by a Big Y employee today. I noticed that they only hire white people (diversity and equality don't matter to them), I feel that I shouldn't have to experience this because I have a different skin color, really disappointed.I'll never step foot in Big Y again and I do not recommend the business.

My husband and I are from Florida ma. Came here for visit and decided to stop a big y in Greenfield. LOVE the market!!!! Tidy and super organized . We went to meat deli to order Boar's head roast beef. On sale $14.99 / lb. Around 2/1 or 2/2 of this month. Asked the girl to slice 1/2 lb of beef . She hands it to my hubby and says its a little over. He says no worries. Then he looks at his pckg of meat and it's 50% over the amt he ordered!!!! My husband politely brought this to her attn , the fact that it was much more than a little over the amt he has ordered in the first place . She replied rudely that my husband should have told her exactly how much money he had to spend!!!!!! I couldn't believe my ears!!! Neither could my husband. Didn't my husband do that when he asked for 1/2 lb in first place?! Very disrespectful young lady. Needs course in customer service and maybe know what she's talking about before insulting her customers. Otherwise, we love visiting this Big y market.🙂

I've caught Big Y several times in a bait and hook sale scheme. Be careful when they advertise a sale because it is to attract your interest when actually they sometimes deceive you with a less quality product or they do not have enough of that product to sell you. I have been burned several times. Very tricky.

I went in on father's day after work thinking I wouldn't find anything left for cakes . R cards , to my surprise they were still stocking stuff. And still making cake's. Found everything I wanted plus more , good clean store very friendly staff and helpful as well. Prices are good to.

A very good and well stocked grocery store. They seem to have minimal problems with supply chain: has full "package" (aka liquor) store attached; a pharmacy, bakery and florist inside.I've been shopping at Big Y for 18 years and it just gets better and better. Parking can be tight during busy shopping times. EV charging stations and shop on line & pickup is available.Location is quite convenient-right off of I91.

Still a bit pricey...but good standard on produce...bananas good for more than three days. If slightly green. Elsewhere..banana bread material in 2 days.Check out there far east veg...nice variety and fresh. Bakery has nice selection.

big Y is the second smallest , second least corporate supermarket in the north mass / greenfield area, lots of locals shop and work here, which makes for accountability. the high quality of shop brand and pre cooked foods makes this a good store for ebt.

This Big Y location is nice. The store is very clean and the staff are very friendly. One of my favorite things about this store is that they have an Electric Vehicle (EV) parking and charging spot. The lay out is fairly standard for a grocery store and most everything is easy to find. I also really like that they make pizza. This store also has really good doughnuts. Possibly better than some coffee shops in town.

It's a nice, neat and clean grocery store, with a friendly staff. They have a nice selection of products to purchase and their meat and deli departments are pretty darn good. The bakery does have a nice selection of pastries and the floral department has a great selection as well. The only two negatives I have is that the produce can be hit or miss at times and that their prices are noticeably higher than some of their competitors, but they do run some good sales from week to week.

Big Y is a clean, well laid out supermarket that offers an extensive array of fresh food, from fruit & vegetables to seafood & meat, as well as other grocery items and spirits like beer, wine and liquor. They have great bakery items, pizza, sushi, sandwiches and more. They do come up a little short on plant-based meats and vegetarian items, but seem to be trying. Overall Big Y is a well run business that I will continue to frequent.

This store is excellent. Friendly service for the most part there is always one or two people that may be just don't like what their doing it happens every where. The pharmacy staff is simply AMAZING!!! I interact with them on a very regular basisI take 27 medications that refill at different times of the month so trust me on this one they have the best pharmacy staff in town I've used them for 20 years and will not go anywhere else.

We shop big y about once a week sometimes more! Stopped in last night to pick up a few items and ended up buying quite a few things! Alert: big y milk has a new low price of 2.99! Their porterhouse steaks are awesome so picked up two of those for the holiday ! Their store made muffins are very moist and delicious! Sometimes a little tough at checkout time but they opened a quick additional line and they welcomed us into it! Cashiers are coverall very friendly and courteous! Can't complain! Keep up the good work guys and we will keep coming back!😊
