Best ice-cream in the area! Ice cream tastes delicious! They have good selection of ice-cream. Also they have good homemade goodies. This place perfect to visit with friends and family. Great for kids! They have a lot of animals, so kids will enjoy it little bit extra! People are very nice and friendly. Recommend! Outdoor and indoor seating available!

Yummy ice cream! I had one scoop of sugar free chocolate chip and sugar free maple walnut. Both were delicious and I couldn’t tell they were sugar free.Dietary restrictions: Sugar free and dairy free options

Love the massive selection of ice cream! I also love that after you get your treats you can go and feed the animals. Bring quarters so you can get handfuls to feed the sweet animals.

I would have given it 4.5 stars if there were half stars. It's clean, and has local honey, and their ice cream in containers, for sale. The ice cream cones are good, but my ice cream was not entirely smooth, like it was freezer burned or maybe had been warmer from a power problem or something, and then refrozen.The animals are fun to see and feed, and seem well cared for. And the animal part is free. There is a small, and I mean small, playground there for little kids, but it won't hold their interest for too long. A couple of big tractor tires and some sand. But, you don't go there for that, so it's ok.You will have a nice drive out there, especially in the fall, and it's a good experience for the kids, for the money. The ice creams have homemade waffle cones, and in the past, the ice cream was smooth and creamy. (Maybe ask for a sample to see if the flavor you want has ice crystals in it.)A good trip with little kids.

The ice cream was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and the resident dogs were so much fun! Will definitely be back when they open for the season. Also brought a pint of ice cream home to tide me over until then. Last time I was there, I was over the moon to find they had ginger ice cream. I was definitely disappointed to find out that it is only a seasonal flavor.

We drove a half hour for the maple ice cream. The taste did not disappoint. Not overly sweet, but the maple flavor comes up from behinf. You say to yourself, "By golly, that is some tasty ice cream".A second visit on 11-6-2022. We were able to sit inside as the summer crowds were not present.

The Rum Raisin was The Best! I had another flavor, I think it was called chocolate graham (something like that). It was Delicious but the Rum Raisin was best. My brother had Triple Brownie Dough - Amazing!! As far as the service, I tried about three different flavors two of which I ate and they apparently seemed annoyed with that. It was kind of sad because I thought it would be a nice place to take the kids but they weren't quite friendly.Still brilliant to bring the kids, Pet the animals and then eat ice cream. All in all it's a nice place with good ice cream.

Super fun place for all ages. Kids and adults were walking around petting and feeding the animals. The grounds are well maintained. The ice cream selection was good and the ice cream is very creamy and tastey. Yum!!!

Fantastic ice cream in a kid friendly setting. My favorites are blueberry ice cream and maple ice cream. I really enjoy the variety, you never know what they will have. The only downside is that portions are smaller than other homemade ice cream shops around. They should increase portion size or reduce prices. But most importantly the ice cream is great.

Always a fun spot to bring the kids on a sunny day! Animals are friendly enough for the kids to hand feed and their ice cream is super delicious. We try to make this a destination almost every weekend.

Best ice cream in the area.... Maybe anywhere. The animal petting zoo is a great perk for kids and there is typically ample seating. A must visit for us anytime we are in the area.

Delicious quality ice cream. Many flavors to choose from and 3 different cones. The freezer was stocked with a variety of flavors. My only request would be more of a description of the unusually named flavor like Bunny Hop ice cream

I can't wait to go back for more Sweet Cream Ice Cream... I may add another scoop of an additional flavor, but for sure, I am having the Sweet Cream again...perfect...fresh, simple, excellent flavor and as creamy & smooth as I've ever had...I am 70, I spent 15 years as a manager for Friendly's...I eat ice cream almost every day.. this is outstanding!

The Gran-Val Scoop has been one of my favorite places to visit for years. There is a large variety of ice cream and toppings that are all delicous. My favorite is rum raisin :) There are many animals including goats and donkeys that you may pet and feed. (There are also chickens and geese, but I don't recommend petting those haha. I tried when I was 9 and immediately got pecked really hard on my hand. Ouch.) The only possible downside of the Gran-Val Scoop is the authentic smell of farm animals that constantly lingers around the area, but it never bothered me, so it can't be too bad.

Delicious homemade ice cream from local creamery thats been around since 1991 and had their farm since 1903. Petting zoo on the farm with all types of interesting animals that are very well taken care of.

This place is great for all ages! They have fantastic handmade ice cream in all sorts of flavors and they have plenty of cute animals to pet and feed. We even got to see the white peacock spread its feathers, which was really pretty.
