I love going to Animal Crackers! They have just what I want for my dog. The owner is always friendly and accommodating. The cat and birds are a welcome respite from the world. A real gem, and a small business! Win, win

OMG I spent so much money at other stores to a dog food both my dogs liked. Sue was so helpful. She gave me samples until we found one. She will special or extra if asked. We have 5 guenuie pig and go through lots of supplies and I feel good that I'm able to get all this at a locally owned store.

Animal Krackers is a wonderful bright store with lots of specialty pet supplies that you just don’t find at the big chain stores! Whenever I’m in Gloucester I always stop by and pick up some special treats for my pups!

* The response from the owner is that there are no parakeets here... Well, it is the place called Animal Krackers... there was a big white cat on the counter, and behind the counter there were cages of miserable sounding parakeets... if this is the wrong place, then I am Krackers.Weird place. Dirty, and there seems to be a low key hoarder parakeet situation going on. From an animal advocate perspective, I had to leave 10 seconds after coming in. So maybe the owner is great, but not for parakeets?

I love Animal Krackers!!! Sue always takes the time to help you with anything and makes you feel like you're the only customer. She's so sweet and we are very lucky to have Animal Krackers!!! I told my 21 yr old to run down and grab the flee/tick med from A.K. well he was too late, went to Walgreens and grabbed obv the wrong stuff so I told him this is why YOU ONLY go to Sue for our fur babies...

Animal Krackers is a wonderful place with good pet food and treats as well as sourcing local pup specialties. Need a special order, if they can get it? No problem. High recommendationsI had two pups who had cancer and the owner helped find foods they would eat and ordered extraof the ones we found. I cannot recommend the service or value of this neighborhood pet shop. And the Manager in charge - Walter is a very cool cat too. (Pun intended).

This is one of Gloucester's very special places. Not only is it a place that you can buy quality food for your pet without the worry as to where that food was sourced. You can get advice and 1:1 attention to solve problems or learn the newest things in pet health. Not to mention a friend with a common interest in animals. Thank you Susan for all you do.

Sue is phenomenal and you won’t find a better pet store. Animal Krackers has been my go to for 18 years! Her knowledge and care for your pets is unsurpassable. My dog Chet adores her! There are always new treats, toys and chewies to keep my pup entertained!

This store has been my go-to pet supply for over 25 years. Yes, I know that the big chains are cheaper, but I have also gotten big money saving advice from Sue and her staff. Advice that kept me from running to the vet to pay hundreds of dollars for allergy testing when I simply switched food and solved the problem. Shopping Local is essential to keeping knowledgeable vendors who know the customer and their beloved pets. Bravo for sticking with it Animal Crackers, even when the big chains came to our town!! I will always shop here.

Animal Krackers is my go to pet store. Their products are amazing, the service is awesome, and my pomeranian Roswell loves coming in to get all his favorite treats. Couldn't recommend this pet store enough for anyone wanting to treat their dog right!Would give 6 stars if I could!

Animal Krackers is Cape Ann's locally-owned pet supply store that has everything you need for your beloved dog or cat; a variety of quality food and treats, accessories, CBD for pets, and even Halloween costumes! Sue is knowledgeable and very helpful. She is in the business because she is a true lover of animals, animal health, and animal welfare. You can ask her anything. I was having trouble finding someone who could handle my dog for nail cutting - I had tried a few places where I had taken my other dogs - she knew instantly who could help, and her recommendation was perfect. I couldn't imagine shopping at the national chain when we have such an amazing LOCAL business here on the island. When I see Chewy boxes on people's steps, I want to put a sticky note on them letting them know that Animal Krackers is right down the street, Sue offers fantastic $ reward cards, and the prices are the same! Great service. Exceptional products at more than competitive prices. Incredibly knowledgeable owner, there almost all the time (only closes an hour a day for lunch.) Opening hours are generous. There to answer questions, troubleshoot sick pet issues, steer you in the right direction for diet, e.t.c. Really, you can't go wrong.
