I stopped by for ice cream twice last week with my husband and want to shout out the nice young lady who was working both evenings we visited! She was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful to us and our dog! The ice cream is good too (we tried the strawberry cheesecake, cookie dough, and other flavors), and the homemade waffle cones ($1.50 extra - a bargain for the quality) are the best ones we’ve ever eaten: they are buttery, decadent, and somehow don’t get soggy!In addition to hard ice cream, the shop also sells a variety of soft-serve ice cream flavors, a sugar-free hard ice cream flavor (coffee at the time we visited), some sorbet, and sodas.Overal, highly recommend! We will be back!Cash only and there is an ATM inside.

Sorbet ice cream ( wildberry and lemonade) both are good , they accept cash only and there is ATM inside their store. They have a variety of flavors and you can taste if you want.

Favorite ice cream spot on the island. Some of your standard flavors with TONS of others to try out. For those vegan or diary intolerant, THEY GOT YOU! Great spot. Quick service. Just note - cash only, so make sure to bring that cashola.

Both my wife and my ice cream was very, very good (she had chocolate and I had black raspberry). I just docked one star because the waffle cones were a bit soft (I prefer them crisp).

My favorite ice cream in Edgartown. It has that homemade taste made with love & experience. Look for the owner,depicted in paintings through the store, quietly observing from a bench inside.

Popped in here on a warm day and got some absolutely fantastic ice cream! I went for the salted caramel - perfection. Wife grabbed the sugar free coffee and OMG it did NOT taste sugar free!! Would highly recommend going back.

Love this shop! The ice cream is great and they have expanded the menu this summer to include smoothies, milkshakes and health add ins for your smoothies. Highly recommend a Visit to Vineyard Scoops. It's excellent!

I patrolled this establishment twice. The first time, I ordered a maple walnut waffle cone. Today, I ordered a butter pecan and strawberry waffle cone. Overall, the ice cream was creamy. The strawberry ice cream contained chunks of strawberries and the flavor was natural. While having a rich flavor, the sweetness of the maple walnut, strawberry, and butter pecan was balanced, and the texture was perfect. My waffle cone cost $8.50, while expensive the portion was generous and the quality of this ice-cream was top notch.

Huge disappointment. The server girl was nice. But come on...$11.50 for a single scoop of ice cream with hot fudge and whipped cream????? Insane.

Super yummy ice cream and very friendly. Don't go anywhere else on the island and you will be happy. Fresh real tasting ingredients. If you ask for a taste they gladly let you try what you want. Holy cow we went back today and just as yummy and delicious

Good ice cream. Seems like prices have gone up since last year and scoops have gotten smaller. You pay an arm and a leg (in cash) for very little ice cream.Don’t get me wrong, I like this place. But the value just isn’t there right now.

Delicious flavors and top notch waffle cones. Only improvement would be if they could either plug up the bottom of the waffle cone or provide a better holder so the melted ice cream doesn't drip all over the kids. Nice way to finish a great day at the beach.

I'm not sure what the big deal about ice cream is on this island, but it's done well. This one is fantastic, but they're all the same.Would go again.

I have a son who has a nut and egg allergy, and I have to say, the ice cream was very good. The staff was very helpful and the price is very good. My only minor concern is that they only have a couple of favors. My favorite is vanilla.This is a great place to stop to beat the heat.

Scoops used to be a great Ice Cream parlor, but it seems to possibly be under new ownership and is now mediocre at best. The "coffee Oreo" was literally coffee ice cream with some Oreos thrown on top (they have the Oreo packages out on display) and it tasted like a caramel, not coffee. There weren't a lot of flavor options and I will not be going back there.

Great place, great Ice Cream, great location, great Staff. Everything was clean and well sorted, the flavors made me return for more. Smiling staff kept the experience and flow going. Good assortment of flavors, better variety than expected. Will be returning whenever possible! Thank Alex if you get the chance.

their vegan options are awful, the coconut ginger is literally frozen coconut shrimp soup i dont know what happened to this place but i won’t be going back again. even the normal flavors are weird, the mint tastes like anise (licorice) and had my son crying over an overpriced cone.

Great ice cream parlour! The "small" cup is more than most other places' large cups! Price is fair, considering you're on an island in the middle of the most touristy town there. Don't really understand the entitled mentality of some of these commenters but this little place is really great for grownups and kids of all ages!

The customer service is great. But the ice cream is Gifford's from Maine. Great ice cream but it shouldn't be advertised as homemade in Martha's Vineyard. And it's extremely overpriced. Three ice creams.

Convenient located across the street from the carousel. After toddlers have fun riding the horses and capturing brass rings they can be rewarded with delicious ice cream here. Reasonable price and sufficient indoor seating for families.

Terrible. Server was rude, ice cream had little flavor, and cones were burnt... And all this for $8 a single scoop cone. Try the other ice cream shops... Have to be better.

Good ice cream but really expensive. You won't find any non-expensive ice cream on-island though.
