I understand that the store is undergoing changes but it seems that they need to be more accommodating to customers. It is very difficult to find things. It would be helpful if there could be some one to help find things.. also prices should be adjusted to accommodate the inconvenience. Is corporate aware of the problem in this store?

The personnel at the deli were professional and courteous.We stopped twice yo order a personalized cake, no one in the bakery at 5 pm on a Sunday or 4:30 pm on a Tuesday.We decided to buy a cheesecake and personalize it ourselves. They had a fantastic array of items to select from in the baking aisle.The store has a wide selection and was very clean .

I really enjoy going to this place! Watch their sales and save your GO Points for gasoline to help offset the higher than mainland prices. Oh, if you happen to like ice cream, it seems there is always some great brand on sale!! Delicious sweet corn is in now, too!

Skip the store in Vineyard Haven, which is a poorly stocked dump. This, by comparison, is delightful, simply by virtue of being an utterly unremarkable grocery store.

Extremely unfriendly staff - Tried to tell staff that one of their meat coolers wasn't functioning and that an entire section of product was warm. Staff could care less. Other than that Extremely poor selection of products and produce spoils unusually quick. If you've shopped at any other store you know how bad of a shop this is. Would recommend shopping at cronies.

A little on the pricey side. Does Have the essentials needed and is conveniently located close to my place of residence.The employees were very polite. They are, at this time, having guest who are ready to check out, lime up on isle 12. Calling 1-2 people at a time to check out.

One of the smaller stop & shops but they have a great seafood deli and great cuts of meat here in Martha's vineyard and plenty of cash register Lanes to choose from. Even though it can be busy if you're in and out.

All is good. Good quality and clean environment. Pamwla took care of me at the check out. She was very relaxed, comfortable and had a light humor. Very pleasant. Not over the top or trying too hard.

Just about every stop and shop have a funny smell to them. This one was particularly pungent during the last visit. For all the money the store makes you would think they would put some of it into the store. It gets beat up with all the summer time traffic. Would strongly recommend getting most items some where else. Maybe just canned good but nothing perishable. If you are expecting a quick visit during summer you are delusional.

Please don't try compare this Stop and Shop to any other grocery store off the island...that comparison leaves this one lacking (often times severely.) But in terms of Vineyard grocery stores this one has the biggest selection by far and often the best prices. If you're looking to buy food this is your best bet.

Can't compare it with a mainland store, it is its own unique category.As far as island grocery stores go, it's well above average from what I have experienced. Friendly staff and a modest selection of goods. Prices aren't as high as you might expect, which is nice.

There r a lot of products available here, especially in summer high season. It's only a smaller Stop n Shop compared to the mainland, but u can get everything u need. Has free parking, the lottery, free paper bags to pack in.

Summer is a horrible time to shop there. Shelves are often empty, wait time at the registers can be very long. Even getting through the aisles can really be taxing.Off-season is much better. However, probably my biggest complaint is that when you find items that you really like, for some reason they never re- order them... So kiss what you like goodbye. Many of my friends have said the same thing.

I Stop & Shop because it has everything you need, managed to get hot ready chicken the one that I get at Giant Store at Maryland. Staff there are knowledgeable and helpful. I thank Management and Staff to great job that I do for everyone at this busy season. Thanks again,.

This is really the only option when living in Edgartown. The three stars are also for things they can’t control. It’s always to busy, there is never enough parking spots, the aisles are to close, its hard getting in and out off the Amin street in August and the prices Are Vineyard high. The store does offer all basic foods and the fish selection can be as good as the specialty stores. The best time to go is really early in the morning.

Not happy with my last shopping.I go to this store almost every week to buy groceries. Went to there again recently, everything went well until I got to the check out area. When the cashier checking out my items, I was preparing my membership card, credit card, and checking the price on the screen. After I paid for my order, the cashier - Melisa, went to the register to her left and start chatting with her colleague. I have to pack all my stuff, which I'm not good at. I spent a lot time on packing, the customers after me had to wait for my packing, and during that time, Melisa just keeping chatting with her colleague, she didn't even try to help. I'm not sure if it's my responsibility to packing after check out, but I'm sure Melisa should not have a long chat during her work.

I mean, it's a grocery store! Who likes grocery stores?! That said, the store itself is clean and the staff is friendly. Except the lady that works behind the fish counter. I've never talked to her, but she stands on a stool and hunches herself over the counter looking down on people like a hawk. She doesn't even TRY to make it appear that she's not blatantly staring at you.

Bought a half gallon of Milk. Sell by date is 4/24. So definitely not old. Also the only reason I went in was to get deli meats for lunch for the They're just hanging on by a thread waiting for this strike to end.

Store is too small. Never have enough products. Always out of something, i.e. green beans, medium sized trash bags. Under staffed at check out alot, especially in the summer. Not a good reputation for a Stop & Shop store.

I found the selection was not as varied as on the mainland but that's to be expected . And because of the fact they are on the island the prices are a little higher also . But I have to say I was impressed with what they could offer and the staff was friendly and helpful .
