I think they did a wonderful job and I highly recommend! They worked with us to create a closet that fit our exact needs and were very helpful when answering all of our questions.

We ordered customized closets from the Avera Collection. Tam was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process: the initial discussion, design, ordering, and installation. The contractor who did the installation (Mike) was also very efficient and professional. The turnaround is very quick (~5 weeks) and the quality of the final product is great.

Manager?? of this store (Brian) is one of the rudest individuals I have ever worked with. Went into the store to order a custom closet solution that I had previously had an in home consultation for. This guy was clearly annoyed that I hadn’t made a second appt in store and was unbelievably bothered that he had to “help” me. My dad and husband were so disgusted by the way he spoke to me in front of my daughter, that they made me go back inside and cancel my closet order. Learn how to treat people with respect Brian!

The experience at the store with the design folks was great. The delivery was fine. The installation was good until we realized it wasn’t. The closet was installed wrong. The opposing walls though not identical were supposed to have the height of the drawers, shelves and hanging be the same. Unfortunately, the installers did not follow the design and the closet is not aligned. We reported the error and have been waiting for the issue to be rectified. Sadly, the initial response to our problem was - nothing. After calling 3 days later they finally seemed to get moving on the problem. Of course they can’t fix it until after our move this weekend which leaves us without a finished closet to put all of our clothing. The point of building this beautiful and large closet in advance was to have a place to put everything when we moved in. Alas, that’s not going to happen. We’re very, very disappointed.

Nothing beats the quality of their products and the design process! They make it so easy with an online design consultant ! Very professional and caring to help. Pickup at store was fast and easy, they help you load as well! Now on my 5th design space with them!

There's so much containers in there store that I have no idea what I need. So I decided to start small and get a display case for my anime figures and a carry box for my tool kits when working on model kits. I think the prices are hit or miss. Some items I felt were too expensive. The staff were very helpful, they made rounds to check in on customers, some were revisited a bit much. Definitely coming back once I measure my room and personal items. Would like to show it to staff and see if I can get ideas on how to organize it better with shelving and such.

I liked it very organized a bit pricey but they had such a variety of containers, organizers, and other random things useful for study rooms, bedrooms, etc. I wish I had taken pictures. It was amazing to see everything they sold there.

This is literally the best Container Store. Exceptional customer service and should be a model for other stores. I am pregnant and I had a dedicated staff member assist me in my selections and carry them out to my car. I called another day to figure out which product I saw on display in the store and another staff member went to see what it was and provided me with the sku so I could order it. I have now spoke to 3 separate individuals on 3 separate occasions and each time I am blown away with their willingness to go above and beyond.

Not sure what to make of my visit yesterday afternoon. I recently purchased a new house and was looking for things to organize my place. I had purchased something online for in store pick up so I decided to check out in person what else was available in store while I was there. I was greeted by several staff members throughout my visit asking if I needed help. That was great. But, there was one employee that asked me if I needed help and I said, no. Later on while I continued to go through the aisles she approached me again after I passed by her chatting with one of her co-workers in one the aisles. She said, Do you need any help with anything? I said, no. And then I wondered why she was asking me again. So, I said, "You asked me that already." And then she said, "Yes, but you have been here for a while." I responded, "Yes, I am going down each aisle." I continued shopping but that interaction disturbed me. I didn't know there was a time limit on shopping at the container store. What makes this interaction strange to me, is that after she asked me the first time whether I needed help and I said, no. She saw me multiple times while I was going down the aisles. If I wanted help we both knew that she was within close distance of me. It seemed like she was suspicious of me because I was taking my time going through the aisles. Not a welcoming experience.

Love this location. I’m a professional organizer (Morganize It Solutions) and do a lot of orders here. Customer service is amazing and they are so helpful. Allison K was absolutely wonderful to make things right when they didn’t have what I ordered and Pras was THE MAN fitting a huge pick up order all in my car so I didn’t have to make a second trip!!! Kudos to both of them!!!!

Contain yourself! My partner loves the organization heaven of The Container Store. If you need something to organize your life or things, odds are good they have it at The Container Store. The staff at this location have always been friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well-stocked. Organize away!

Love the level of dedication I received in store yesterday! While trying to organize the mess that is my shoe closet, I ran to the Chestnut Hill location... only to find there were no more shoe organizers (the specific ones I was searching for) on the shelves... but the team did not stop until they searched high and low in the stock room! They found them! Made my day! Thanks guys!

I love my custom closet! I did a virtual appointment with Briana, she designed something perfect for me and I feel so much more organized now! My one gripe is that I had to pick it up on a Friday for installation on a Saturday. A few more days of flex time to pick it up would have been great but I'm glad we got it done quickly!Services: Installation, Custom furniture

The workers are extremely helpful when I needed help locating items even when they are busy. However, the new space the store has moved to now always seems congested and sometimes hard to find things. Personally, I prefer the old space where it's more open and spacious. Nevertheless, I always have had great experience with the staff.

Every time I come in, the sales associates are really helpful. That last time I came in, I needed help finding an item that wasn’t on the shelves. Turns out it was expected in their next shipment so they offered to hold it for me. Great customer service and a great selection of products.

Unfortunately, I've been SO dissatisfied with service ...Staff not skilled, they are don't even know how to use a computer!!Well, I won't go there anymore.

Worst ever experience - ordered online almost 2 weeks ahead fro curbside pick up, once I reached the store 10 min before scheduled time I happen to find out that the store was closed 45 minutes prior - due to the plandemic?! No one felt the need to inform me or change the available timing on their website ?! Waste of my time driving there for 1 hour not mentioning the waste of gas. The next day I called customer service, who refunded me my not insignificant amount. She was very apologetic, but I was moving an need the containers. She agreed to give me a voucher for future shopping at their stores. Didn't receive anything until today. I reckon my business is not needed at this store. There are other places to get storage containers

I ordered two items online after repeated attempts to call the store to buy them directly. When someone at the store finally answered, I asked if I could pick them up sooner than the date two weeks later assigned by the website, since Chestnut Hill had dozens of both items in stock. The store employee was extremely rude. He said two weeks was what I deserved for buying things online and that there were 200 pick ups before mine. What kind of business can fill only 100 orders of in stock items per week?

Curbside pick up review - placed order online, hit "i am here" on the confirmation email once I parked in the curbside pick up parking space. Waited a few minutes for someone to bring my order and drove away. Safe easy quick.

The elfa lineup is great for anything you want to use it for even a electronics workshop! The person at the station was very helpful and designed the entire system for us, we came back a few days later and there it was! All gathered at ready to go.

Jill was extremely helpful and did a great job designing my Elfa closet for my bedroom. The final design was affordable and featured the right amount of drawers and shelves to fit my needs. I will definitely be back for my second closet :) Thank you!!The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the size/layout of the store. I think I'm just used to the one at the North Shore Mall-- it's bigger and seems to have a wider selection of things. May just be bigger though. Either way, this Chesnut Hill store is awesome.

Certainly out of the way for city-dwellers, but a fantastic layout and attractive prices (I wasn't able to find a better price online for the items I was looking at). Parking lot is a bit tough to navigate, and the spots around Container Store are on a slope making it next to impossible to cart your goods to your car... use the designated area for pickup.

Hit or miss - sometimes the customer service is great but my last visit it was down right awful - the customer service person questioned my even exchange of a defective product even with dated receipt. You can find a lot of the same products for much cheaper at Target with nicer customer service.

Standing in a line with almost 20 other customers and only 2 cashiers. I and another customer spoke to the manager who did assign 2 additional cashiers after scolding us. Other customers told us that this store regularly understaffs the cash registers. Next time we’ll order online.
