I just went there today and the staff was super helpful and friendly, even though they were very busy (maybe corporate needs to hire more people), the staff kept their professionalism and positive attitude the whole time I was in the store. Also the store has very unique selections of products. Awesome job from the staff!

I’m a regular at this Ocean State Job Lot and it is probably the best one in the area. It’s always clean and I’ve met the manager, Dave personally and he is a very nice guy knows what he’s doing in retail for sure because everyone there is friendly and I always see the same crew of people there which means he keeps people happy, I’m 100% honest. I’ve never met a mean or rude person working at Ocean State Job Lot Bedford. Informative and friendly service and they always got what I need. And if they don’t have what I need, they always go the extra mile and look for other stores that have the product that I need in the area. Also there’s a man that works in the service desk and he is always so friendly whenever I go in there I always try to go to him because he’s always got a big smile on his face. I hope that people read this review and understand that this is an Ocean State Job Lot that is truly something special and is worth the trip going to.

Had heard about this place and visited today for the first time and the last time. The cashier informed me of some special deal that was going on and I declined since I was only there for the day and I did not want to supply my phone number and email. Both the cashier and the customer after me suggested I give them my discount. And when I declined, they were both a little disrespectful to me. I prefer this location in Bedford as I feel that they're not as poked and pawed through as some of the other locations.. the store was neat and orderly and had so many things at really great prices.. I am in physical therapy as I had broken my arm at the end of November.. I was recommended a 3 lb & 5 lb weight for my OT.. and I was pleasantly surprised that they had exactly what I needed.. plus much more! A great array of gardening needs and seeds! Staff is super friendly and you could spend a couple hours there easily!

I came in for a 5 tiered shelf, but then box was a bit heavy for my bad back. Garrett, the service associate graciously offered to help me bring it to the register. Then he had me pull my car up so he could put it in my car. He would not accept a tip for his trouble. His empathy, kindness, and genuine desire to help people could not go unrecognized. I don’t live in the area, but I gladly come here for the deals and the wonderful workers. Thank you, Garrett for saving my back today!! Ps. He should get a raise for going above and beyond.

I purchased carpet from here on Black Friday sale the manager was very helpful taking out the carpet for us and carrying it to the register. The employee at the register was also helpful getting cart so we can take the carpet to our car. Great prices and great customer service.

The store was really messy with stuff on the floor. The holiday merchandise was well sold out, with a very limited selection. It was very messy, and at this point, New year's Eve, it was only 50% off. The last couple of times I've been there I found that the prices are not as good as they used to be. He used to know that we went to osjl but you would find some good bargains, now you really, really have

A nice store where sometimes one can find pretty good and inexpensive things. For instance, closer to winter they start selling nice leather gloves, which are $8 these days (used to be $6 a few years ago). Also, some interesting food stuff like glass jars with marinated mushrooms or red peppers from Europe.Of course, one store may differ a bit from another.

I’ve never shopped in a store which the staff are so friendly, warm, patient and helpful! I was greeted and asked several times when I was in the store. The cashier was great. It made me feel really good about the shopping experience. The price of the merchandise is a plus!

Ocean State Job Lots.may be my new favorite store. If you are old enough to remember Building 19. They do the same type of seals except the stores areclean, organized and they don't smell as the Old Building 19 did. There Crazy Deals for Insiders are near. If you buy them you get a gift card for a significant % or sometimes all of the purchase price. Check it out. Well worth the trip. Still the best deals in town

Some things are hit or miss, bc it IS a job lot store. But you can get GREAT discounts on some pretty good quality stuff on most items. Just gotta use your eye on things. Staff I great and very helpful but often overworked do be patient with them.

The store is sort of cluttered, but if you are willing to take the time and look around you're bound to find something you like at a great price. I especially enjoy their health and beauty, tea, and jarred sauce varieties.

Been looking for a specific umbrella for a long time. Went to about 4 different locations. Called this location on the phone and they said they had one left they would put aside for us. Had to drive almost an hour to get to this location. We got there and asked for the umbrella and gave them my name. They told they told us we already picked it up when we didn’t. Before we got there, a customer came to an employee and asked for an umbrella. They said “Is your name Catherine?” The customer said yes and they gave it to them.That was OUR umbrella they put aside for us. The employees need to be trained better. They should be asking us for our names instead of saying “Is your name Catherine?” And now the specific umbrella we wanted is sold out everywhere in Massachusetts.

This is a great place for good deals on certain things. You can't be sure of what they will have at any particular time, but it's worth it to check out their website or their print ads. I mostly get various yard supplies and other seasonal items here.

Fun place to go and great great bargains! Stock changes a lot so if you see it and like it, buy it. You can’t go there expecting to find anything specific but you will definitely find things that you did not know that you needed until then!
