Lindsey is the absolute best! She is great with my dog, Snoop, and she has been so helpful to me as a pet parent. I will continue to book all of his grooming appointments with her. I hope Pet Supplies Plus recognizes her merit & rewards her accordingly because Snoop & I will be distraught if Pet Supplies Plus lost her as a team member. Please make sure she knows how valued she is, and how important it is that I have someone I can trust with this level of pet care that I cannot do for him myself. I'm sure you can appreciate that one bad grooming experience can alter an animal for a lifetime, and having access to Lindsey makes me feel confident that Snoop will always be well cared for when he's with her. More and more of my generation is adopting the philosophy of "pay the person; not the entity", and employers would do well to realize that they are only as good as the people they hire. You've struck a gold mine with Lindsey, and I hope everyone knows that.

This store is actually so much better than I anticipated. At first I thought there wouldn't be much selection, as it is a lot smaller inside than the local Petco or Petsmart. However, it's actually awesome! I've found they have the best selection of items for my cat, and great prices and sales. Plus the online ordering works great and really helps when you're crunched for time. Store is clean and well stocked.

It was my Shepard's first time going to the groomers today & let me tell you, we will never go to another place again! Maddy was our groomer and we will forever be going back. She was absolutely wonderful. She was sweet to talk to, very informative, and very reassuring that she was confident enough in her self and Reign to take on the challenge of the first timer. Reign did fantastic and came out looking like a whole new pooch! My Boston Terrier also got his nails trimmed and buffed and even though he peed all over the floor, she laughed it off, cleaned him up and was so gentle with him. I used to work in a grooming salon in PA and Maddy listen to everything I mentioned, suggested and asked. I was absolutely thrilled too see the end results and we cannot wait to go back again in a month with the whole pack!Thanks again for the outstanding service!

They have a lot of things, for many types of animals. From homemade treats for your dogs and cats to a pet wash and grooming station, they have it.Making an edit to the original post...Let me preface by saying we have gone to this location since getting our golden retriever as a puppy a year ago.Now for a review reflecting our most recent visit, which has caused me to decide that we will no longer go here for food, toys, or any supplies ever again.We normally bring our goldie to a dog groomer regularly. However it is Sunday and our groomer is closed and our 1 year old goldie has become a bit stinky lol. So we go to Pet Supplies Plus to use the self wash station for the time being.Our visit started out well, having purchased use of the area at around 10:46am. Took us about 2-3 minutes to get to the back of the store (where the wash station is). And had to wait a few minutes as a groomer was trimming another dogs nails in the self wash station (no big deal, I wasn't discouraged by that).We got the dog up in the wash area and washed with no issues. When we went to dry the dog however the air dryer was not working (again I had no issue with this). The person at the grooming station said their walkie talkies were not working and informed me I needed to go to the front or find an employee with a walkie. By the time the dryer was reset and functional approximately another 7 minutes had gone by. AGAIN, Not A Big Deal.Now here is where the big deal has come in to play. Only a couple of minutes had passed since beginning to blow dry our goldie when a woman (whom I believe was the manager) appeared to ask if we were almost finished because a line was starting to form for the self wash station. Also, we were informed that is generally only 20 minutes for use of the self wash station (we were never informed of this, because as anyone knows it takes more than 20 minutes to wash a long haired dog of 1 year old). No where in the stare are there any signs saying self wash is only 20 minutes!!!!!I didn't complain when I had to wait for the station at the start, I didn't complain when I had to find someone and wait for the air dryer to be turned on.So why am I now being forced out of the area I paid to use???? I told my wife shut off the dryer! We towel dried our dog (which as anyone with a goldie knows means he's still wet)!!!!! From time of purchase to when we were back in our vehicle was 35 minutes with a minimum of 9 minutes where we could not properly use the station. But we were made to feel like we were the reason a line was forming???!!!!!! I think not. And I don't care if I have to pay $1,000 to have my dog washed only, My family will NEVER use Pet Supplies Plus ever again. And we normally spend $200-$500 in this store monthy because we did like them.....But not anymore.

The people who work here are great! Very good with my dog who hates to get her nails clipped. And they were very helpful when I was looking for a new dog food, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. I find the selection and prices to be great too.

We love Pet Supplies Plus. They are always fully stocked and have everything we have needed. I also get my Luke (dog) groomed at Pet Supplies Plus. We are very happy with this store!! ❤❤

Decent selection, but often did not have the pairings to things they sold. A friend and I were looking for a certain tank light size we needed and while they had the bulb, they had no fixture that fits that size. In addition, the way they keep their animals and fish is so sad.

My favorite vet is down the street. Athol is a long drive for me but I love my vet and I LOVE that this pet store has quality bulk hamster food (we have a LOT of pets) my son loves that they have little baby sharks here. One day I'll likely buy him one.

I had previously bought a bearded dragon from another store and they didn’t tell me how to feed it correctly. A very sweet young lady at the Athol location named Vanessa walked me through everything I needed to know about bearded dragons. Thank you very much!

The service was incredible! Most of their employees are very knowledgeable and helpful, the reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is due to their pet food being a bit expensive. However, I am extremely impressed with their grooming costs and fish prices. Fish are healthy and not too expensive!The employee named Amy helped me a ton today! She’s very knowledgeable and caring, and went out of her way to help me as much as possible. Even though some of their prices are a little high, her service makes me want to go back and support them.This is a fantastic place to go for fish and dog grooming. Their grooming prices are great compared to most other places! They also have a large supply of dog toys, fish supplies and their dog food is very neatly sorted. They take great care of their fish and are honest about the quality of their tanks (for instance, if they notice ich, they’ll tell you and won’t sell them until the ich is gone!)

Really good store it’s very clean always have crickets and meal worms animal really well taken care of only one thing tho I bought a couple hermit crabs from here and put 2 small ones in a ten gallon tank and took very good care of them even had the heating pad and evreything and bigger shells for them but my first one I bought lasted around 4 months and the rest only a few days not sure if it had to do with me or there hermit crab care otherwise really good store very nice people and lots of doggy’s stop by :)

I have been coming to this store almost weekly for about 4 months. The staff has been incredibly nice, helpful, and very attentive every visit I've had! They are also very knowledgeable about my pet and are able to answer all of my questions. I do agree with the previous post that the bugs I get are pretty darn pricey. An occasional coupon helps some. Also, the bugs are sometimes not completely in stock. Still 5 stars for the staff!

I brought my dog in today to do the self wash, the staff was extremely nice and helpful! The facility was very clean and easy to use, so much easier than washing him in the bathtub! I will be returning for sure!

Great place to go when looking for you pet needs. I give a big shout out to Amy for helping us pick some stuff out for our guinea pigs and we love that she helped us figure out what we needed. We have bought 6 now. We love them all to pieces and it has helped us bond as a family. Work and school and the kids now being teenagers and doing thier own things now. We now have a way to bond with each other and the piggies. Thank you guys for all your help and especially Amy. She always answers our piggie questions.
