Lime red has been disappointing the last few visits. The last 3 times I have been there over the course of months the coffee machine is broken.. which it's been months, not sure if this is a McDonald's ice cream type of deal but it's disenchanting. Also service, wait staff isn't extremely friendly.To be fair I have had some much better visits here in the past, hopefully they get back to it!

Great selection of quality teas and fruits juice. Nice decor, super efficient staff. It was very very busy on Saturday afternoon with many students on site with laptops. More staffing on rush hours would be good as some potential customers went away when they saw the line up. It wasn't too long though as many orders are not long to make. The bubbles were well prepared. As any great bubble tea place, the options of sweetness is a must! Didn't had the choice for quantity of ice, but it was ok.

It's been a while since we came here so we noticed they updated some things. Happy that they offered dairy alternative (soy and oat milk) and sweetness level. They have an assortment of macaron flavors and boba teas. Love their packaging and business decor!

We were the only customers. My 16 year old daughter, who works hard for her money washing dishes, was treated very rudely since she couldn't afford to tip for her drink. The two teenaged workers took 15 minutes to make two drinks and served people who arrived after us, and were verbally rude when we checked in nicely about our daughter's order. LimeRed and other cafes shouldn't allow their workers to see if and how much a customer tips. This shouldn't affect the level of service, and the drinks are already absurdly expensive. Pay your employees more and train them to be kind.

The pearls are fresh and squishy and a nice size. You can choose between teas, smoothies, juices and fresh juices, coffee, you can mix flavours, customise sweetness... and the space is uplifting and nice, and they were playing vaporwave while we were there. This bubble tea aficionado is very happy! Would visit again.

Super friendly staff and the drinks here is fresh and sweet, I like sweet stuff which makes me happy and clean up my messy mind! They do delivery as well and it is convenient to order online if you don’t wanna go out in a hot summer day or you have a small party to chill out and need some pretty and yummy drinks; here is your option! Look at these layers, so pretty right? Btw, this is Matcha latte with soy milk and boba.

The most inconsistent boba shop in Amherst. Some baristas make amazing boba drinks while others serve lukewarm drinks with no ice (even when asking for EXTRA ICE). The nearby ViVi or Moge Tee are more reliable options.

My freinds and I drove 45 min to try their bubble tea, definitely worth it!!! Staff was friendly, drinks were great! We will definitely take the drive again to get more tea this summer!!!!

I’ve been here twice in the last 2 months. I likely won’t go again. I don’t like the completely hands off approach to ordering - non cash orders are done strictly through an iPad in your own. I had a few questions (do I still have to pick a dairy option if we pick coconut milk tea; how do I order a macron if it’s not listed on the iPad?) and the person working was not attentive to my questions and seemed annoyed. Sorry, but I’m not well versed in ordering so I’d like to ask some questions. Is that unreasonable? And I also don’t like the tip screen. I literally just walked up to an iPad, ordered myself, you got annoyed when I asked a question, and now I am supposed to tip? For what?The drinks are fine; service is not. There are enough other places that are happy to help and “teach” about their offerings.

Great customer service - nicely explained what adjustments they made to my order in order to make it how I requested! However, they only accept cash or chip cards, no debit cards with only magnetic strip (this is limiting). Also, a friend who placed their online order earlier than me (I waited in line and paid at the counter 5 minutes later than them) received their drinks 10 minutes after me. Don't think their ordering system is very efficient.Drinks were OK. Boba was soft and chewy - you could tell that it was made fresh. There was a lot of customization available, which was really nice.

We're regulars at the Boston store and the kids were psyched when we saw the Amherst location while walking around town. You can't beat their bubble tea selections. I really like that they have the real fruit, non-dairy options, and the different toppings you can pick. It's also really nice that you can select the sweetness level.

Edit: I’m far too mean!—The bubble tea is quite good and the people are very nice. But perhaps some information upfront about how long orders for things other than tea will take would be nice—otherwise you might be sitting around for a while not knowing if they forgot about you.Also, delivery option is sick and definitely a great improvement to the business.

This place is just great. Best smoothie I maybe ever had. Options were plentiful- I chose mango, no ice cream/ dairy with strawberry pops and it was smooth deliciousness. I could barely put it down LOL safety measures for customers and staff were impressive. Appreciated the whole experience and look forward to repeating it.

I’ve been going to Lime Red since it opened in Amherst and it’s my all-time favorite bubble tea place (and I’ve been to many)! They use local ingredients and have quality choices. Don’t worry about the smallish menu - that’s because they put so much effort into making each drink delicious! The prices are amazing as well!

This place has one of the best bubble teas in Massachusetts! The tea itself is fresh and doesn't have any added sugar or flavor, and the boba is delicious! (Plus you get to see cute chalk art of Pokemon on the menu board)

My absolute favorite place to get bubble tea. They have so many options. You can even customize sweetness levels. Also, there are many add-ins like various fruit pops that I love to experiment with. The LimeRed (LR) Blisses are so delicious. Most importantly, they deliver and have online ordering!

Legitimately one of the best tea spots I've ever been to. As far as I know, all of the tea brewed fresh and they use real boba. Size to price ratio is reasonable considering the quality. For the cherry on top, the ambiance is as comfy as lofi hip hop.

These guys are really nice and provide great service. Their tea is average but then again it depends on taste. My friends really like their blizzard drinks but I probably would just go there for loose leaf tea. They also offer buns in three flavors and dumplings as well. A bit too pricy but then again, they are pretty much the only people who sell bubble tea exclusively in the valley. Remember to ask for loyalty card if you end up loving it :)

Good boba tea place. I'm from Los Angeles and grew up in an Asian household, so trust me when I say I know my American boba tea places. They use locally sourced ingredients and you can taste it. The owner is very chill.

Extremely rude. I tried asking for a paper menu because I wanted to pay with cash and not go through the electronic process that only accept credit cards. I asked repeatedly, they heard me but continued their business by pretending not to hear me or ignoring me. They only care about money since when I said I wanted to pay cash they paid attention. Very poor customer service without the most basic respect for customers. Their boba is not authentic since I come from Taiwan where boba is invented. Better to go to Mogee where the boba is more authentic and with better customer service and civility. The boba is too expensive for a cheap copy.

Awful boba tea that tastes like dirty dish water probably tastes. Poor slimy quality boba tastes old, poor quality mass produced looking cartons of ingredients, disheveled staff, dirty looking kitchen and messy counter. Premium prices for the worst boba tea. Hard pass.

This is Best teahouse around. LimeRed has a great selection of teas with topping choices. The staff is very friendly. My family and I come to this teahouse regularly, because the atmosphere is so nice & inviting. They go above and beyond with their nice decor and cleanliness. ☆☆☆☆☆

Lime Red has some of the most delicious bubble tea around. I had the mango bubble tea with boba, and boy is it good. The only downside is the price. I used to go there all the time, but they remodeled and now everything is like, a dollar more? So expensive, but really delicious.

Love bubble tea.They do it well, better than most places. They make good tea, paying attention to the correct temprature to steep differents teas. Quality is key, and they are aware.My only complaint would be that everything is way to sweet unless you ask for only 1/4 sweetness. But, you can ask for it less sweet or unsweetened, which is good. I just wish the baseline sweetness wasn't so extreme.But, if you like bubble tea, you will love this place. If you are going to have bubble tea for the first time, you might as well get it from the place that has the best around; LimeRed.Also, they are always engaging their customer base via FB etc. in fun ways, and they have special offers quite often. As a customer, I will say that it really does work to show that they value their communtiy.
