I had a bit of difficulty finding what I wanted and multiple employees walked by and didn't ask if I needed help. I didn't want to bother them as it did look as though they were doing other tasks so didn't ask. The register attendant wasn't knowledgeable and didn't make sense it what he was trying to explain about reward points. (not a fan of the rewards program by the way). He left my items on the counter and didn't bag or ask if I wanted them bagged. I went to the register next to mine and got a bag because there weren't any there and he continued to carry on a conversation with another employee. Not a good visit.

I went to Petco tonight and i was helped by an employee named Sarah to buy a fish and she informed me that you need an id to buy a fish and my dad came so we had an id and then after him coming all the way to the store at 8pm at night she refused to sell them to us and was rude and smart with her commentary and wasn’t helpful. She was also very demanding while helping us and when we answered her question she laughed in our face. Then proceeds to call other pet stores in my area and tell them not to sell fish to me.

Very rude employee! Will not be shopping there anymore! Rest of employees were nice. At least I take care of fish and animals I have. Also don't but betta fish that are reduced its because they are either sick or have been in containers too long. An employee there told me that.

I love this store and the employees. Brandon , the GM is always ready to help a customer and I had Ian tonight as well both worked to help me get what I need for my pets. I have not once encountered an employee that was unpleasant. 100% recommend this store

I unfortunately didn’t get anyone’s names, however my most recent visit was incredibly pleasant. The young woman with the green hair and glasses was incredibly nice and helpful in picking out my plants and snails, and the man with the dark hair and beard was very friendly at the register and while I was shopping. 🐌 🐌

Great grooming service, but by the time they have included all the unrequested add ons, it ran roughly $20 above the agreed price. They had my phone number, it shouldn’t be hard to call and say, for example, “would you like us to use luxury conditioner? It’ll cost an extra $8.” Doing that without my consent and then charging me for it is very dubious. But they do groom well, so just expect to pay quite a bit more than you are quoted and you won’t be unpleasantly surprised.

No public restrooms in a pet store where people are bringing kids and need to use the bathroom. The other big chain pet store down the street is twice the size of this store and has bathrooms so why can’t they?

I usually don't go to stores like that, until a year ago I walked in by accident and walked out with an amazing bird from there a year ago. Ever since me and my son would visit the birds there and it was always a sad look, with dirty water and cages. My 8 year old son would ask the workers if they could change their water. Manager was cold and horrible. We stopped by yesterday and we were in shock to see that all birds had fresh veggies and clean water! I asked if they had a new manager, because the difference is huge! So to the new manager: you are doing an awesome job! Thank you for taking good care of the animals at the store! Also, the cats for adoption had very cozy housing, with lots of blankets and clean cages!

I had a 1pm grooming appointment and showed up, but even though the store was opened, the grooming area was not because all the groomers were in other locations. I wasn't informed about the cancelation until after my appointment.

My son and I were considering getting a water dragon with 0 knowledge. The associates were very educated on the dragon's needs. We felt very confident with the purchase. The store is always clean and kept up. Their tanks were taken care of better than PetSmart's tanks.

Shoutout to Brandon for showing me where everything was and what he recommended for trying to keep alive a mouse/rat that fell from the insulation in the garage. Unfortunately, he passed away a few hours after we tried saving him. But Brandon was really cool about everything, even said i can bring everything back incase he didnt make it within 30 days

Always love going here because it’s 5 mins away from where I live. But encountered a very rude employee recently. Either she was having a bad day or what, I don’t know, but when we asked her where auto feeders were she just stared at us for 10 seconds before shrugging and saying “I don’t know”. Luckily we were directed by a much nicer and polite older woman who was a delight.
