I came here with my 2 mini snauzhers. Both dogs needed a full haircut, but I was told that their fur was not long enough.Please note , I told Angie I groom my dogs myself at home, and that I just needed to get their paws cleaned up, facial and ear areas, and the sanitary areas cleaned.After I picked up my dogs, I immediately noticed that they tails and their bodies still looked Shaggy Meaning, their hair WAS long enough to shave from their body- I took this 'care' as, she wanted to save some time on 2 dogs that have to wait while she finished 2 others, so she didn't have to stay at work longer AND so i could come back and spend more money... .Also, The dog's ears although shaped up on the outside, we're not cleaned and shaved on the inside and there was a lot of hair on and around their ears...Corners were cut, and I paid $90 to get my dogs a bath and partial groom and to sit in a building for hours..I won't be doing that again.. i try to give my animal friends the care, love and nurturing they deserve,ALL of which I can do from the comfort of my home with a natural dog shampoo, towels, and background music for me and them. And i can take my time and build more a trusting and loving relationship when i make it personal every timeI'd also like to add that Angie waited 41 minutes to give me a phone call after I did not answer her text to pick up my dogsThe photos attached are today (7-5-22) after I gave my dogs a bath WITHOUT shaving them myself yet. . It has not even been 2 weeks since i took the dogs to their appt and this is how their fur looks...Other pics of my grey dog are when I groom them myself

So I took my dog to Karen’s Pet Grooming today. Worst decision. His hair was cut uneven on the top, he had patches, he smelled like he wasn’t bathed, and his nails wasn’t cut. She took 3hrs and 30 minutes and he was shaved all the way down. I’m not upset he was shaved down, I know he was matted.

The dog's cut was good but they injured her eye and didn't tell us. It cost us hundreds of dollars to correct and the dog is partially blind.

My poor little baby was a matted mess. They cleaned her well. She is only 4lbs and was scared. They were very gentle. They gave great tips on how too keep that yorkie poo coat in good condition. We will be seeing Karen every 6 weeks.

My baby was so matted and afraid. They were wonderful with her. Gentle and thorough. It did take a bit to contact them for an appointment. My lil pebbles will be back in 6 wks.

This was my first visit, the staff was very professional a d welcomed my dog with open arms. I have had problems locating a groomer because he snapped at the previous groomer when they were trying to get him out of the kennel; mind you he had been given a calming pill suggested by his veterinarian. Karen’ did a fanatic job and suggested no tranquilizer and he was fine.I am so thankful for this grooming salon, they are fantastic, I will be going back!!! Thank you Ms. Karen and Groomer (didn’t get her name) !

I brought my Shar-Pei puppy in for a nail trim and they were also able to squeeze a bath in. He is usually difficult for his nails, so I was very happy they could get them done. I believe I will be returning to this place to have his nails done on a regular basis.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!!!! I brought my dog to Angie at 9:30 am my dog didn’t come out until 6:50 pm. She NEVER GAVE HIM WATER NOR DID ANYONE TAKE HIM OUT TO USE THE BATHROOM!! Poor Quality Service! My Dog came home Drinking like He Was Dehydrated!! Yet I gave her a 5$ Tip that she Truly Didn’t Deserve! She Always has them sitting in that cage for 5 Hours or more. That’s why I like to pop up so she can Hurry Up. I also Caught her yelling at one of the dog when I popped up. She yelled so loud that I heard her from outside..Tell them to Be Quiet..Smh I’m looking for another groomers

My dog was not fully groomed. The groomer said she wasn't feeling good that day, which I understood, I then asked if she was able to fully groom my dog, she replied yes but had not groomed him at all. He smelled the same, he wasn't brushed, he wasn't even wet. I drooped him off and less than an hour later she said he was done. We dog owner know that's not right!!!! Don't waste your time with this groomer.

This Groomer allows pets to be groomed without current and updated shots and no proof of records. A family friend dog almost died because the owner and the groomer did not take it seriously. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone if you love your pet and want them to remain alive. A definite no do not use Karen's Pet Grooming services ever. Her license should be revoked.

I started going there in 80's when my mom would take her dogs and all these years later I'm still going with my dogs. I love the fact that if I mention that my dogs a Chows people are quick to turn them.away, but they have always been welcome here.

As a first time client, they took very good care and time on grooming my Yorkie. I showed a picture of what I wanted and it was perfect. They are reasonably priced. They have gained a new client that was satisfied with the service.

We found Ms. Angie for Karen Groomers on line. We were driving all the way to Woodbridge Va to get our dogs groomed. We were so Excited to have found a groomer that was close to home. We are so pleased with the work Angie do with Bossie our Rottweiler. an Sonson our Chihuahua.

Not one of my favorite grooming spots. Reason being the place could be more hygienic. They don’t know how to keep the place clean. I did bring my dog once only though so they might have had a bad day. On another note they took really good care of my dog so that is good.

I have been taking my Shih Tzu Tinkerbell to Karen's for about a year now, and I'm very satisfied with their service. Reasonable prices and I like the fact the same groomer works on her, and they can usually fit her in the same day. No complaints. Nice and friendly people.

I have been taking my Lola to Karen's since she was a puppy. She is now 7 years old. They are very flexible and accommodating. They don't have all of the bell and whistles but I have never been disappointed.

Have taken Pablo (my Pomeranian) to Karen's for many years now with no issues until today. I'm not sure who the gentleman is that answered the phone, but to ask me "who the hell is Pablo?" is beyond unacceptable. I will not be returning or recommending. Especially if he is who will be responsible for my pets care.
