Always grooms my boy to look his best, we have been with Buddy's Place for years now and reccomend them to anyone who needs their pup looking and feeling fresh and renewed. Ace loves going and even in his old age beats us to the truck just so he can see Stephanie. That alone speaks volumes to how much they love their customers!

Nice staff but didn't groom my dog as asked. I was looking for tapered legs and a specific head design and I was given the basic doodle puppy cut. I wouldn't be as irritated if they were more open to saying they mistook direction but they insisted that was the best they can do for her hair. She had no matting and was grown out...the issue wasn't her hair...the issue is wrong cut. How can you shave her legs and confuse that with a taper...they would need to be shorter towards the top of her legs and taper out which is nothing like what was done. She came in after growing her out for 3 months and they shaved her legs down the same length all the way down after I specified I wanted a tapered leg cut so that needs to be scissored, I wanted a round prominent muzzle with the bottom cleaner and showed pictures but instead they cut the top of her muzzle down to almost nothing. I don't think the cut was bad...not great either...it was a very basic doodle cut but they completely ignored everything I asked for and did what I'm assuming is what they are used to. They are good for basic cuts and probably for people who don't know grooming well...but wouldn't reccomend them for something fancier. If the body was right but head was off or vice versa I'd understand but this is not remotely close to anything I asked for.

I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Buddy's! The ladies were so polite and knowledgeable. This was the first time I had my dog professionally groomed and they were so helpful. My dog went in scared and came out wagging his tail! They didn't cut his nails too short and hurt him (which was a huge fear of mine) and his cut looked spectacular! He looked quite handsome! He smelled great for days afterward and I was really satisfied with the experience all around. We will definitely be back!I've included a before and an after photo:

Buddy's Place is awesome. They do a wonderful job with our dog. He is a 100 lb Golden Doodle. He gets so excited when he knows he's going to the groomers. We've been going about 4 years now.

There are honestly not enough words to describe the awesome job that Stephanie does! Every time I call to make an appointment I am warmly greeted by either Steph or her mother (who is just as equally nice). I take my lab mix and my chihuahua to her & every time we walk in the door both dogs are happy to see her. Since the time my lab was a puppy to now (3 years later) she has gotten him so comfortable with being clipped. You can absolutely tell she truly cares about every single animal that walks into her shop, as she treats them like they are her own. Definitely recommend trying Buddy’s Place, if you haven’t already. You will not find a more talented & caring place that you can actually trust with your pets!

They got Brucie in for a spa day the same day I called. He came home with nails clipped, so so soft fur and smelled so good. Even has a pretty bandana that he loves. Will definitely take him back when he needs nails clipped so he can have another spa day. Highly recommend Buddy's Place

Stephani along with her staff are the most friendly business not only in Taneytown but probably all of Maryland. Doesn’t matter what type of dog, they get the job done right every time. I’ve heard they have customers drive several hours just to have their dogs pampered there. I will forever take my pups here as long as they are open.

Buddy's Place Dog Grooming in Taneytown, Maryland did a professional job grooming Nala this past Fall and I cannot wait for my pup's spa day in April 2020! A bath, blow out, trim and nails. She's almost a different pup and looks so soft, fluffy, and beautiful. 😍 With age, she has become difficult to let me groom myself, so Buddy's has been a life saver! Thanks girls!

I cannot say enough good things. They go above and beyond every single time I bring my dog Willy (The Bean). He is scared of water but they always make sure to spend time loving on him before going about the grooming. I take Willy every month and I could not imagine going anywhere else!
