There is always someone approaching you as soon as you enter the store. This makes it easier to find what you need! I went because I needed a type of screws and there is a whole aisle for them!!!. The rep was very nice, he spent quite some time looking for the exact size I needed. He found them, handed them to me, I paid for them, and that was it. Easy!! Instead of breaking my head, searching up and down in all those little boxes on the shelves and God knows how long it would've taken me to find them. Very good service!

Refused to return paint I had purchased after they screwed up the color. Can't own up to their own mistakes/system errors and expect you to pay for it.Also had trouble previously returning a milwaukee sawzall that was defective. Basically told us to kick rocks both times. Customer service is terrible - the manager bill in particular. Been a long time customer but will now be going else where.

Excellent customer service. Someone greeted me once I walked into the store and within 5 minutes I had what I wanted and checked out. You can't get this type of service with a big box store.

I bought 5 bags of birdseed. There was a special, plus I have a card that gets initialed every time I buy a bag until I've bought enough to get a free bag. The cashier spent some time trying to figure out the best way I could save the most money. As I walked into the store, a guy asked me if he could help, and as I wandered the aisle, another person inquired about whether I needed help. The store looked clean, and it was packed with merchandise.

While the entire team at the Ace (in Stevensville) are friendly and helpful whenever I visit, Erin is the team member I interact with every week, and she is ALWAYS so friendly. Even with the unfriendliest of clients, she never provides less than exemplary service.She takes an interest in her customers and really makes an otherwise quick stop for critter food and bird seed a pleasant one.Last week after leaving Ace, I told my husband that of all the people I interact with when running my weekly errands (that's between three to five stores in a couple of hours), Erin is, without a doubt, the kindest (and this is greatly appreciated after a long and challenging workweek).I genuinely believe it's hard to come by a person like Erin in customer service nowadays (so many just don't care - and I know customer service is often a thankless job - I've worked it - but providing a great customer experience really is a BIG deal). It's obvious that Erin cares and gives 100% during every shift. I could easily shop on Amazon for what I pick up in-person weekly, but I don't because I'd much rather support this store and it's team.THANK YOU, Erin - for making our trips to Ace ones that end with "great catching up, we'll see you next week!".

I wish I'd gotten this young man's name! Paint counter today.. I had bought front door paint and when I tested it, it was more purple than red. This young man was so patient, and truly wanted to make me happy! What a wonderful peek into the past when customers were not just a bother.Made my week.

I stopped in to get a key made, which is something i usually go to Home Depot for, and the service at HD for things like that is unremarkable, as a rule. But when I walked into Ace, I was greeted immediately by Casey, who asked me how I was doing and what she could help me with, she was super friendly. She brought me over to the key desk where she and Debbie made my spare key. Debbie was actually showing Casey how to make the key, which doesn't sound very significant, but as a retail training professional, seeing people develop their staff so openly and kindly is a huge thing for me. They were both so personable and pleasant to interact with; this is the first time I've ever gone to a hardware store and left with a smile. I was in and out in about 5 minutes, and was so pleased with the service I asked to do their store specific survey as well.

This place seems very well managed in that the employees all seem to go out of their way to help in any way possible. They also have a good inventory selection. Their prices are a little higher on some items than the big name hardware stores, but that's to be expected of local hardware stores.

I have been a customer of this store many years and i hane never been disappointed. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is my go-to hardware store. If something is out of stock or not sold at the store they will get it shipped in for you. On scale of 1-10, I give them a 9.99
