Beautiful fruits and vegetables. My Mom is a diabetic so she really appreciates the lower sugar jams available. Very nice person at checkout.

Mountain Valley Orchard is out of this world fantastic. Beautifully presented, gorgeous fruits & vegetables that were grown & harvested with pure love & it shows. You should run & not walk to this lil slice of heaven. The staff are amazing & really care . Their point of sale machine wasn't working & I had no cash. The gentleman ran around fixing it as I shopped. The prices are amazing, much lower than Lewis Orchard up the street, bigger & better quality & super good fun, & summer-time vibes. I ate my messy peach in silence on the way home, windows open, sun in my eyes, radio blasting, a great summer day I shall cherish come winter. Love is too small a word.

Met my best friend here and loved the customer and produce here. So affordable, but ask an executive manager from a large company I would come back just because the customer service is beyond measurable. Love this place as a first time customer

Alright so here’s what you need to do. Get a box of their rocking strawberries, buy one of their awesome lemon loafs, then make a classic strawberry shortcake with these two things, skin the stupid strawberry syrup stuff though cause their strawberries are sweet enough on their own. You won’t regret it, the result is F****** Superb

LOVE THIS STAND! I come here so often. We actually moved to Frederick and I still make trips out to this stand because the quality is amazing and the selection is great. Highly recommend any time of year but especially spring/summer

Great place to get fruits and vegetables. The peaches we got need a few days to soften. The bicolor corn was great.

Stopped in Wednesday looking for my Mom’s favorite pie. Strawberry/ Ruhbarb and we’re sold out stopped in Saturday morning and the room was totally stocked. She loved it. Thank you for taking the time to make them. By the way the sweet corn is very good too.

This was yet another example of a family-run business, where they try to do everything correctly. Nice fresh produce displayed well, packaged well, even priced well. Who would not want to help out local farmers? I say if you're going to buy, this is as great a place as any, and better than most. Their fruits have been excellent, we've been going there for 5 years. Probably stopped there 15+ times. Well worth the trip, two thumbs up.

Last week, we stopped by and bought bicolored sweet corn, tomato’s, blueberries and plums. The tomato had the BEST flavor and the sandwiches were delicious! The corn, second to none, absolutely delicious! Plum and blueberries followed as very good. We liked the hours they are open and accessibility. Thank you for doing what you do so well! One criticism is that there was no sign telling customers they are a cash only business that we saw. We did t find this out until we went to pay. Had to drive to an atm and come back. Surprise!

Best place to shop for vegetables and fruits. Apple season is starting now, they have Honey Crisp on hand. Best eating apple I know of. Yummy! There is three colors of corn white, yellow and bio color you must try the bio color if you talk about sweet the bio has it. It's a must go to place. Prices are very reasonable and they even help you carry things to your car if you ask. You just can't beat that.

Not wearing mask during Covid and eating with hands and not washing them. This is a very nice fruit stand, they have a great selection but my last visit left me very disappointed. I stopped by and the gentleman working the stand wasn't wearing a mask, he then started to eat a peach while I walked around and came to help me without washing his hands. I then asked him if they were wearing mask and he said no as if he was proud of it. That will be my last visit unfortunately, I really liked this place. Needless to say nothing was purchased.

Love this place! I use to live in Smithsburg and moved, I now drive back every few weeks to get produce. Friendly knowledgeable staff. A lot of times they will have samples so you can choose your favorite. Good baked good too.

Best corn in the area. Both the hybrid white and bicolor corn (what us old folks used to call butter and sugar) were fresh, tender and sweet. Excellent garden tomatoes and peaches. The place to go for real vegetables and fruit

Been going to this place for years but will never go back. Staff (1 young woman & 1 old woman) were rude, inattentive & took no safety precautions whatsoever like wearing a mask for starters. The old woman was the worst. Belligerent & lazy. Took her mask off & stood 3 feet away and incorrectly cited Covid safety measures which in her mind didn't exist. If you feel like gambling with your life you'll love this place. If not there are plenty of other safe and friendly orchards in the area.

Lady who works there was very RUDE and NO SAFETY PRECAUTION what so ever. Two employees had no mask on and talking very loudly for at least few minutes while I was buying apples so I told that old lady that they supposedly have to wear a mask especially they were next to me not even one feet apart. I told her why they don’t have mask on, she said this is Washington County where they don’t need to wear mask when they’re outside but they are running the business THEY SHALL WEAR MASK... THEY ARE STILL IN MARYLAND! I have been going there for over 15 years 2-3 times year for Apples, they always have been for friendly and service was great, pitting all apples into my car every time. BUT SHE HAD A ATTITUDE AND NOT LOADED FOR ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS A ONLY COMPANY CUSTOMER AND ANOTHER VERY YOUNG EMPLOYEE WAS DOING NOTHING BUT STAIR AT ME.... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... I HAD TO LOAD THREE BIG BAGS OF APPLES BY MYSELF... BED SERVICE!

This orchard carries Rome Apples...the apple my Mom prefers for making apple pie. She was excited when she found out they had them, especially since they've become hard to find at grocery stores. They also have with several other varieties of apples, sweet corn, beans, eggplant, watermelon, pumpkins. ...and more...all available in season.Baked goods are also available.

Fresh peaches right from their orchard and you don't have to pick them. Best peaches around in my opinion. Limited hours so be sure to check ahead to make sure they are open. Will have apples in the fall also.

Cutesy farmstand set up. Everything looks very fresh. Got strawberries, peaches and veggies. There will be no strawberry picking this year. THANKS COVID-19.So went to pay...THEY DONT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. Hubby had to drive across the street and go to an ATM at the Highs store. In this day and age you should take credit cards esp. with Covid . They did have plastic sheeting up between the employees and customers. Mayne's doesn't have a nice of a set up as this place and they take credit cards...just saying.
