I took my fur babies there for the resort stay this past weekend. They came back happy and healthy and only had great feedback of the staff and their accommodations. I would recommend RBK for boarding anytime. Great clean and friendly facility! In Paws we Trust !

I have always taken my dogs on vacation with me... however one of my rescues is a little too anxious and unpredictable. So after explaining Loki's issues they really allowed me to feel at peace with boarding him with them. They handled him perfectly... all women as that was an ask... and they showed no fear or anxiety... and he walked in and was greeted with a symphony of ladies voices so sweet and loving and welcoming. Gave me the sense that he was going to be OK.

RBK is an awesome place! My golden retriever Jameson (13 months) comes here almost 2 x a week and enjoys his day playing with his new friends. Jameson spent his first overnight stay and enjoyed it! High 5 PAW!

RBK SEEMED TO BE NERVE CALMING FOR OUR FAMILY ONCE TOURING THIS FACILITY IN REGARRS TO OUR 2 YEAR OLD FEMALE BOSTON TERRIOR "RUDY'S "1ST TIME BOARDING STAY. WE HAVE BEEN SEARCHING AND TOURING MULTIPLE BOARDING FACILITIES BEFORE OUR LONG 10 DAY VACATION STAY FOR MONTHS. WE HAVE BEEN VERY PICKY OF WHERE SHE SHOULD STAY BEING THAT THIS MAKES HER 1ST TIME BEING SEPARATED FROM HER FAMILY AND THAT SHE IS VERY YOUNG, NERVOUS & SAD WHEN BEING SEPARATED FROM US. The staff are very thoughtful about my fur babies stay. I have 2 large dogs who can be anxious around new people but they always wag their tales happy to visit this place. They have an enviable lodge with scenic acres for your dog to romp. I’ve been booking them for many years and not once have I had a complaint. I never have to wait long to check in or check out. This place is top tier. I just hope not too many people come running leaving me with no place to book!

We used to really like this place, but things are changing and I'm not pleased. The nightly boarding rates were almost doubled without any notice when we made our appointment, so the price for a weekend was ridiculous. I have always disliked them being closed on Sundays so they get a forced extra night, but now they also changed pickup and dropoff times. I wanted to leave early in the day to drive 5 hours, but had to wait to drop off until noon. If I wanted to leave earlier, I would have been forced to pay for yet another night I didn't really need.

Always the best! We're been taking our canine kids there for years. When our pups get there they don't even say goodbye to us, they want to run right in and play with their friends! Staff and management are friendly and professional, treat our babies like their very own.💖🐶🐶💖

I have going to this place for years. The staff is super friendly and very professional. They accept all dogs which works out great for me because my pup is a special case. Ms Laura is my pup's favorite. Be sure to make your reservation at least a week or two in advance for during the holidays they are fully booked. Good Luck and tell I spent you 😉.

People usually comment only when the experience about a service is bad.But I like to emphasize when a service is good and in this case the service was excellent.I looked in several places for a space to take care of my dog ​​for 10 days.And I am very happy to say that I received good recommendations and also read all the reviews here. I traveled and for the first time my dog ​​needed to be away from me.But she found shelter and care here. Every day my emails answered me, when I called too. I saw my dog's photos on Instagram and it calmed my heart. She came back beaming. And I recommend the dog bath service. I paid for it and it came back very well. We really appreciate the care for her. I RECOMMEND! And I feel confident about leaving my dog ​​again under the care of such good people. And I especially thank Laura and the office staff. Thanks.

They generally have great communication from staff regarding your pet. Sometimes I get all the information I want before asking and sometimes I need to ask specific questions. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I have had all 4 of our dogs stay here for both lodging and grooming (2 past and 2 present). Will continue taking our future dogs here.

The service and staff’s customer service is getting worse at this place. I took an appointment for my dog to get a full grooming. My husband picked him up and once he got home we noticed that his front paws nails weren’t trimmed and the side hair weren’t shaped as well. If this was the first time then I would let it go. This is the second time this has happened. I contacted them to ask what happened this time, they were defensive and didn’t even show any customer service skills. They didn’t even care about the picture I sent and no response to email I sent. I spoke to the manager and she quickly took the groomers side when I had proof of his paws that weren’t touched. It has been a pain taking an appointment here as well- the last time I took an Appt- the lady was rude. There was also this one time, I dropped my dog off for grooming and he was done in an hour and when I inquired about this - the lady who brought him back to my car just walked away saying I guess they were quick today. When a customer isn’t happy, learn to say sorry for the inconvenience instead of being defensive. I know there are a lot of dogs that go to this place for service and I feel like place is also short staffed and everyone is in a hurry and not interested about questions or complaints. Our dogs don’t deserve this poor service. Nobody wants to be treated that way and I definitely don’t want this treatment for my dog. We will never be going back to this place. Horrible service and horrible customer service skills.

My dogs absolutely LOVE this place! The girls that work here are great at remembering your name and your dogs, even when they aren't regulars. I love that they keep the grounds up and have a ton of activities for the dogs to do. I don't feel like they are in the cage most of the day! They come out to the car not wanting to leave every time! Oh and they always take photos and post them so I can see them playing. I just wish they were closer to my house and they definitely need to be open longer hours 7-6 would be perfect for people that work.

We paid for top service, but are disappointed in what we received. My dog was boarding from March 2-16. We called to arrange grooming, but no one answered the phone or returned a call from our message. There was no evidence of call attempts on our call logs. We were told there was a staffing shortage when we arrived. Our dog smelled so bad we had to bath her immediately upon arriving home. Instead of returning my husbands t shirt which had her name written across the back we received a strangers shirt. I doubt the scent of a stranger would have offered her much comfort while we were away. A weeks worth of bagged kibble was also returned which means she never received her evening meals. We will no longer be using this or any boarding kennel.

I left a prior review praising RBK for their great care and caring attitude. They have a first rate facility and wonderful staff. We have boarded our two bulldogs with them many times and never worried that they were in good hands. The owner is a veterinarian and the staff and operation are very professionally managed.Recently, one of our dogs died and we received a hand-written card from the staff with very detailed rememberances and heartfelt sympathy. Does anything say anything more about how much they care about the dogs they care for? This is the place you should board your pets!!!

The staff is accommodating and helpful to me and interact well with my dog. I love when she is greeted by staff who know and love her! I appreciate the wide range of services and activities they provide pets, including grooming and occasional daycare. My dog has been groomed expertly by Keri for a dozen years for a very reasonable fee. I could have had her groomed far closer to home, but it's worth the drive. The reason I did not give 5 stars was because I wish that the kennel were open on Sundays for pickups and drop-offs. It pains me (and my wallet) to have to have my dog in the kennel longer than necessary.

We boarded our dog, a 1.5-year-old pit mix, at Reisterstown for the first time not long ago. It was the first time he was away from us since we rescued him. He came back seeming happy, healthy and exhausted! The staff were courteous over phone and email, and were able to provide detailed notes when I asked how our dog was doing partway through his week away. I also appreciated that they were SUPER up front with their customers about changing operations -- because they had some cases of kennel cough, they put a pause on group play. I'm sure there are some places that either wouldn't put that pause or wouldn't call and let folks know ahead of time, but Reisterstown did both, and I can't tell you how appreciated it was. We will almost certainly use them again in the future when we travel.

I started using them for daycare when we moved to Hanover, PA. I work very close to them so it is actually very convenient to have my pup stay there while I am at work. The best part about this place, so far, is that they have so much outdoor space for dogs to run and play!! Our last daycare was in the burbs in a warehouse with little outdoor space, so this is a real treat. The staff is great and so friendly. They have multi-day packages to save you money if you want to become a regular. Staff is taking some good precautions during COVID-19, as well; curbside pickup and dropoff only and staff is wearing masks to and from cars.

We are very happy to take our German Shepherd to RBK for what we call “sleep away camp”. He loves the play time and attention he gets and he makes a new friend each time he visits. On his last stay, Sarge made friends with Sam, a female shepherd. From what we heard they had a great time playing together! We get detailed reports on how he is doing when we call in, from his eating habits to his socializing. The staff has always been very friendly and caring and we couldn’t ask for more than that. Sarge always gets a bath and his nails clipped and comes home looking (and smelling) good. We highly recommend RBK!

I highly recommend RBK ! I have used them for years and had nothing but great experiences !This is a follow up to my previous review last year... Since that time, one of my dogs Caleb passed away. Reisterstown Kennel sent me the nicest card . It was signed by everyone, with the nicest messages. They truly care about the pets they take care of. We have another dog who is very aggressive. He won't let any vet take care of him but he walks in Reisterstown kennel with no problem and even lets them cut his nails. He knows a good place when he sees one ! It is great to know your pet is in great hands when you go away ! Thank you Reisterstown Pet Resort !!!

RBK is our dog's home away from home. She goes to the Doggie Daycare and we Board her there as well. Our dog is always, always happy to go in! She loves the staff and they're obviously very good to her. Indoor and outdoor pool, a huge outdoor play area with tunnels and stacks of hay. It's a glorious place for dogs to stay and play!

Referred by acquaintance who gave high marks to facility. I give them 4 stars. We have placed our 7 month old husky and 12 year old yorkie in their care on average two days a week. Employees show loving care and will address any concerns you have. I highly recommend them.

I have been using RBK for grooming and boarding for over 10 years. My dogs are happy to be there and we are treated like family. The groomers make my dogs look like show dogs yet my dogs are never stressed after their grooming appointments. My experiences are always exceptional.
