**This review is my attempt to alert the public to my extremely negative experience with Oxford Vintage. Date of this review: 07/29/22.** I consigned artwork & decorative items to this shop owner at the end of November 2021, from my home's front door directly into her hands/car. Since then I have phoned her several times to try to 'settle up' with her, i.e., I have requested written acknowledgement and confirmation of: 1) what I consigned to her; 2) which of my pieces she has sold (if any) and how much she owes me per sold piece; and, 3) what she is still holding of mine (if anything). She returned my calls, although not in a timely fashion, saying she would get back to me to resolve this matter but to date she has never provided any of this information to me. One of my phone calls was in January or early February; she said she would be getting back to me, but I never heard from her. Last week I texted her and when she phoned me in response, we set an agreed-upon time for her to ring me, but she has not called me. Upon hearing these facts, a number of individuals have suggested to me that this shop owner's handling (or lack of handling) of my personal property constitutes theft, but I am not in a position to judge whether that is an accurate assessment. But it is certainly a blatant example of bad customer service. I have never received any payment from this shop owner for any of my consigned articles, if indeed any were sold, and I cannot determine whether any of my items remain unsold, and if so, where those are. I am puzzled and disappointed at my treatment by this merchant. I had previously bought things from this shop in both of its charming Oxford locations, originally on Morris Street and later its new location on Tilghman Street, and had recommended it highly to Oxford residents and visitors. I leave it to the reader to decide, after reading the above, whether you want to set foot in Oxford Vintage.

Charming shop in the charming Oxford village. Interesting pieces at reasonable prices. Owner Barbara has a discerning eye and is very personable. Definitely worth a visit.

I wasn’t expecting this small waterfront town to have an antique store, especially one as quant with such a good selection of silver and antiquities.The two young staff members were extremely helpful and polite.
