Excellent selection, friendly staff and close by. I ordered a 5/16" Craftsman round over router bit on line. It was in stock and I picked it up the next day. Very easy. I was a customer before they moved from North Beach. Same great service.

Everyone here is always so nice and super helpful. As a local property manager and home owner I'm here at least once a week, if not more, and they almost always have what I need. The prices on some things are a little higher but, the convenience of the location is worth it. Plus they have a great loyalty program and sale events throughout the year.Edit: Another review mentioned the cell service doesn't work inside but - they have wifi! Just ask for the code🙂

LOVE this place. The staff is absolutely amazing! Always friendly and accommodating (I’m usually toting my small children along, and they’re super sweet about it). If I had any complaint it would only be that the building is a cell service black hole, so make your phone calls prior to entry :)

Always very pleased with Sneads. They go above an beyond to help you and are super convenient but their prices are always so much higher than other competitors. Home depot for an example. I do love them though. Also, they have a lot of stuff to choose from. Thanks!

A great local hardware store. Its very convenient being so close to my home. The staff are great and always helpful. A star was deducted for the prices being a little higher than bigger hardware store (and I mostly don't mind due to the convenience factor), and that they often don't have enough of the item I am looking for. For instance, I wanted a few air registers and they had 1, or in another case I needed a few clay flower pots and they had 1. Overall a good hardware store though.

The staff is the greatest part of shopping here.Most of the prices are ok but some of them are horrible.I wouldn't get my lumber, anywhere else, though.Big box stores are fine for a lot of things but NOT lumber. Sneade's has them beat in quality and service, in the lumber yard.Great place to get your LP tanks filled, too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone seems to enjoy working there so customer service is great. Good-sized store and ample selection with a hometown feel. The hardware store had a ladies night! They also had a breast cancer fundraiser. Very civic minded and it shows. I shop at Sneade's Ace Hardware frequently.

I've been going to Snead's Ace since I was a kid in the 80's. This has been a great local hardware store for years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I know the prices may be a little bit more than your big box stores like Hone Depot and Lowes but I am willing to spend a little more to support a great Calvert County business. Thanks Ace!!

The local hardware store and supply company has some of the nicest staff. They are always helpful and knowledgeable, ready to lend a hand or walk through the store to discuss your project. Cashiers greet visitors upon entry. Bring your well-behaved dog and give them a ride in the carts to get pets from everyone there.Like this review? Give a thumbs-up!

Well laid out store with ok selection of merchandise. Nice items for women that are not usually found in a hardware store. Staff is always friendly but still wish Calvert would have completed the deal with Home Depot so I wouldn't have to drive all the way out shuffle Marlboro to get what I need from a hardware store

For its size, Snead's has a lot of stuff and I can usually find what I need. Cashiers have been more polite as of late. Prices are a little high. They have good prices on propane. For large items and bulk items, they offer delivery as well

Although their prices are not the best they have a lot of the weird little things you may need for a home project. They are the only place in the area that carries hobby metals such as brass rods tubes and plates and aluminum rods and tubes. They have a wide selection and a pretty good lumber yard in the back. If you want to save a drive all the way up to Upper Marlboro or all the way down to California to find a big box store. This is a good place

For most jobs, same prices as the big boys. Stainless fasteners are a little high. Lumber quality is A1 TOP grade. Service and overall experience are incredible. I would NEVER go anywhere else. Unless it's late on a weekend. Staff is legendary in knowledge and demeanor.

I could hang out here all day. Sneade's Ace Hardware has that small town hardware store feel, but somehow nearly always has exactly what I need, even if I couldn't find it at the big box stores. They always have a bunch of helpers running around so you get the help you need when you have a question. I went in for two things today and left with a bunch of things that I remembered I "needed" as I walked through the isles. Shopping here reminds me of the local hardware store on the 90's TV show "Home Improvement". It's just something special. I've never seen him, but you might be lucky enough to run into Tim Taylor if you hang out here for a while. In all seriousness, Ace is great. Check it out!

I love this store! The folks at the register greet you when you walk in. Lines are never really long to checkout and when they get long... they call additional cashiers up front. None of that Walmart 1 cashier and 30 lanes open stuff!Tons of stuff here for home improvement. Ive bough Plumbing stuff from the new Shark Bite fittings to CPVC. Plexiglass, Dry wall, plywood, lumber, mulch, plants, electrical, paint, Grass seed, Tools, Chainsaw fuel and oil, Snacks, Drinks. Lighting equipment... Prices are comperable to convenience and quality. You can get things cheaper at Home Depot or Lowes, but you are driving 30 minutes to do so, and you dont shopping local... So i would go here 10 times out of 10.

Sneade's is always the best place around to shop with the friendliest staff. I always forget about it but I decided during Covid-19 to shop here rather than the big box stores to make sure that the small businesses got my money. They deserve it. They are always so organized and go out of their way to make your experience a pleasant one.

I like the addition of all the homey items and nicknacks. Everyone was so helpful everytime I turned around i heard people asking if you need help, always making sure everyone was okay. Never have service inside but your able to get wifi upfront. I left my card at home and was able to use Google pay.

Clean and welcoming with friendly staff. Normally aces are pretty small but this one is actually quite large with plenty of selection. All the staff members were ready to help and had knowledge of many of the products. This was not always the case with other stores but this one was an exception.
