Three separate locals pointed me in the direction of Saffitickers today when I casually mentioned it was a good day for ice cream. Top quality service and lots of options including hard pack, soft serve, cups, cones, sundaes, milk shakes, flurries, toppings, and more. Walk up counter for taking orders, and plenty of picnic tables, lawn chairs, and shaded grassy area to enjoy your tasty treats. Easy to spot from the road.

I use to love getting ice cream here! But what happened? Someone's head see too may $$ signs? Look how tiny everything has gotten!!I don't know how to reply. Thank you for offering to make it up to us. I may bring my girls back this weekend. It is delicious ice cream! But I'm sure you can see the difference from your photo's to mine. I will change my reveiw next week if we are able to make it there this weekend.

We got 4 orders, including one "medium" ( really a large ) sundae, PLUS one small ice cream cup for our puppy, all for just over $15. Wow. It was GREAT!!!

I wanted to add to my review to let people know that this place only accepts cash or checks (no credit/debit cards, no Apple pay or anything like that). Just wanted to give a heads-up because people have left because they didn't have cash on them. All that being said, it is a great little place to get ice cream. Lots of choices (but no sugar free 😞), delicious tasting, and a very friendly staff. You walk up to order and there are benches to sit outside, or sit in your car to eat. From the menu, it looks like there are a few food items, but mainly it's ice cream. A little ways out of town, but worth the trip!

The soft serve was mediocre at best. Not sure why this place has 4.8 stars, which was the reason I stopped by. Got strawberry soft served and all I could taste was artificial powder mix…but at least their price was cheap.

I love this place! Their ice cream is always so delicious and they have alot of different flavors to choose from. If ice cream isn't your thing they also have fruit slushie type drinks and small appetizers. They have a pretty nice set up, with picnic tables and benches around the area so you don't have to eat in your car. Will definitely visit again.

Like many roadside eateries Saffitickers is worth stopping. My purpose for stopping here was ice cream and they did not disappoint. As the scoops were piled on the waffle cone the value for the money was definitely visible. It's really difficult to go wrong on ice cream considering I choose the flavor and cone I want. I Did not try any of the food offerings, so I can;t speak to the quality or value of the rest of the menu.

Quality ice cream for a very reasonable price. Soft serve and hand dip available. In addition to vanilla and chocolate soft serve, they have other delicious flavors. Portions are very generous.

Our favorite roadside ice cream stand in all of Maryland. It's over a half hour drive from home but their ice cream is so delicious it is well worth the hour+ round trip.

The young lady who served us yesterday (06/17/21) didn't know what she was doing! I paid for 3 SM and one L hand dipped ice cream. She gave us two SM first and then a SM and a L. The L size looked exactly the same as the SM in my other hand except the color of the cup!! Not sure what was up with that? She even said this is SM and this is L!! Small also looked really little (like 1/2 at least) in comparison to what we had in the past. I have given them 5 stars before but not going there anymore.EDIT: It was in the afternoon around 4PM. Girl had braces.

We live in Wyoming and travel to western Maryland on a regular basis. Saffitickers is a stop we make at least once every time we visit. It's the best place if you like soft surv custard icecream. There Blueberry sundae as well as there twist comes are to die for. You can find them in Garrett Co. Outside of Oakland Md. On route 219 South.
