This campground is beautiful! We stayed for 2 nights while traveling from Virginia to Massachusetts and had site #9, at the end of the beach, under the shade of a beautiful mulberry tree! It's quiet and the sunsets are gorgeous. It would be a 5 star campground if not for the bathrooms and showers. They are very outdated and not in good condition, especially the shower stalls. More attention needs to be paid to these amenities in order for guests to return.

I really don't like reviewing my favorite spots because of course I don't want to give them up lol but I've been coming here for 36+ years...it truly is a little slice of heaven! The camp store is fully stocked if you forget anything and the staff is an amazing group. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained...I can go on and on about this place!

A nice campground on the water, but not all sites have full hookups. Water pressure was only fair. They had a couple bands during the weekend that were decent. We visited last October and the bugs were not bad at all, but visited again this May and the bugs were crazy at some locations and various times of the day, almost unbearable. The store hours were limited and access was limited. The sites were spacious and the view was great.

Very nice family run campground. Beautiful waterfront sites and the sunsets are stunning! Very quiet and simple but worth the trip.

First off this is a very friendly group of both workers and campers a very clean and neat spot. I just got back from there july 1-4 Fire works were awesome. We were tent campers witch at the start you see your not very important. Sites are very poorly marked off or kept up with i had to ask for my spot to be raked off before setting up my tent because of dried gumballs from tree covered the site. A porta potty set in the 13 tent camp site void of any toilet paper all 3 days we were there. If your doing anything beside tent camping i would definitely recommend. For motorhome / tag along this is a awesome spot. There were tent spots near the water that were never offered to us over the phone not sure why. Please don't take this a a bad review I would definitely go back I just wanted to write a honest review i also know I don't pay near what those others pay for a site. I came prepared for the worst and this was far from bad. I have bad legs and staff offered to pick me up and take me to beach. They done there best to please. Again i would recommend it. I was told there is talk of some updates on the back camping sites exciting to hear. Hope that gumtree comes down lol

Love this campground! Haven't been here in 15 years, until this past weekend, June 3rd-5th. Had an amazing time! Exactly the same as I remember. I called Friday at 2pm and the lady I spoke with was absolutely helpful. We camped in a tent, because that's the only REAL way to camp. Anyhow, we weren't going to arrive until late, so we were given the gate code beforehand. Not a single other tent camper was there, so we had the whole lot to ourselves. The primitive sites are 40 dollars a night so thats what we decided on. Family friendly, pet friendly camp ground. There is a nice beach with water that you can actually swim in. Kayak rentals, paddleboard rentals, you name it. There is a bath-house located on the property that is available 24hrs. The camp store has pretty much whatever you need, make sure you have it, cuz the local Walmart is 40 minutes away! I would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a nice relaxing weekend; tent or camper! Thank you Roaring Point, for providing us with a memorable weekend and bringing back memories that I will cherish forever!

The campground itself is very nice and peaceful. When my family was there they had hay rides, a petting zoo, and a live band. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We arrived late the first night due to traffic on the way in. Called the staff and let them know and they made arrangements so we could still get in after they left for the day.It is 40 minutes from anything if you forget something and the camp store doesn't have it, but it is a very well stocked camp store. They even had feminine products for my daughter.

First visit ever and it's pretty nice. Small with lots of seasonals but they have a huge campsite we reserved for this weekends gathering of friends. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Last weekend we did a 3 day camping here. Had the best time. Only issue was wifi connection. But they are working on it. The people were very pleasant and the place was clean. The sites are big. Def will go back.

This campground is a great- small- family environment. One way in/ with a gate. Private beach. On a river that's more like a bay. The owners and staff are amazing. They answer the phone! There are a lot of permanent spots so it fills quickly. Spots are big! Few trees. Some things you need to know:You may need 2 septic lines if your camper empties at its front as the drains seem to be at your back. Take a water line possibly with a water filter if you aren't use to sandy well water. It's on the water/ on the point, the wind is constant. If you need to go to the camp store and are located in the middle of the gounds- it's a one way on the road as there's no middle path. If you don't take a golf cart and it's hot out you will melt on the walk. There's an amazing " fish cleaning " pond with wonderful wildlife ( they love bread and leftover pizza) 🐢🐟 take bug spray! The storms move in fast and at night are beautiful to watch! The store has ice and most necessities.Animals and golfcarts are welcome. This is far from " town" . (Salisbury)There are some local restaurants however.

We tent camped on their large primitive tent camping area. It was not as well organized or laid out like other tent sites, but we had the entire area to ourselves, and could pick a prime spot. There are no pads, but the sandy soil made for easy staking. We had one night of heavy downpour rains and some spots flooded out. We were lucky. As for the entire campground, it has a beautiful stretch of beach for laying out and swimming. There is also a pier, and other spots for fishing and crabbing. It's not at all overly crowded, and has a small play area for little kids. Our Saturday night had a DJ who did karaoke. It was a pretty fun time. The camp store has all the basics, but I would recommend bringing your own firewood. We can't wait to get back.

This place is so peaceful and quiet and everyone was friendly. Water front park over looks Nantikoke River and Chesapeak bay beyond giving beautiful sunsets and soft bay breezes .Fairly wide spaces allow easy in and out and plenty of room to enjoy provided picnic tables and fire rings. Wi fi really good where we were . Excellent view of the water. Highly recommend . 2 things. Be very sure you know how to get here and that your route DOES NOT include any ferries. We went down a long narrow road only to find that it ended at a ferry no larger than our RV. It was far to narrow to turn around so we had to unhook tow vehicle and back up about a mile to find someplace that would accommodate our turn around. All the while I was calling the campground several times to get directions and see what to do but got no answer . I left messages and 48 hours later I still have not received a call back. Fortunately the camp ground it self is beautiful but not answering phone really ticked me off , during business hours .

Love love LOVE roaring point. Great place to spend a weekend. Get up early on Saturday to do arts and crafts with krista, stay up late in the evening for live music. Most every weekend they’ve got something going on- whether it be tiki hut snow cones or petting zoos. Don’t have a camper? Bring out your tent to one of their sites right near the water. Beautiful beach.

Even though this is a nice quiet campground I gave it one star for the following reason: they had started to decorate for Labor Day, beautiful American flag display throughout the park, then we noticed the flags being taken down and replaced with flower decorations we were told the owners thought it was inappropriate to have that display for Labor Day. I thought to myself are we on foreign soil or am I still in the USA. Shame on you Roaring Point it's never inappropriate to decorate with the red, white and blue. But for this retired Navy Chief I will continually fly my flag and decorate with the red white and blue. Proud to be an American. Great place to take sunset photos.

I’ve been camping here twice now, and both experiences were memorable & terrific! It is a beautiful spot to camp, fish, and enjoy the water. For geography enthusiasts, Roaring Pt is a remarkable spot where the Chesapeake Bay and Nanticoke River meet.

Really nice little campground right on the water. Smaller than most but that's why we like it. All spots are close to the bath house. It's always cleaned and we'll maintained. Come to camp, plus fish and hang out on the beach. You won't be disappointed!

Nice, clean campground. When I first called to make reservations they were so helpful! We then tried to switch weekends because the weather was looking better and they accommodated us with no problems. The staff was so helpful when we were there. I really appreciated all the help they gave us. My only complaint was the dump station... they said it might be slow to drain and they were right. Other than that it was wonderful and we will be returning!

We enjoyed hanging out at the bay....the firework display they put on is one for the books...they had entertainment for this particular weekend because of the 4th of July...not sure if they do on a regular....we had a bad experience with out site...it was right next to the pavillion where the shower house and the entertainment took place...people just walking through our site...standing on our site next to the fence to watch the entertainment...one guy causing a fight(fist) with us...because he said we were rude for telling him this was our site and he could ask us if he could stand there next to our fire pit to watch the entertainment...security came... troopers were called the next day...one of the owners came by the next day was very upset with what happened....said they had 18 cameras on the premises...but the camera on the shower house was facing the other way...he offered us a free weekend...any who.....do not get this site...
