Great service, very friendly staff! I called them after 5 on a Thursday to see if they could squeeze me in for an AC recharge. Unfortunately, I just missed the AC specialist. They asked if I could return the next day. I brought the car in as requested and it was diagnosed with a bad AC compressor (7yr old/100k mile car). They couldn't get a part in time for a one day turn around but said they could have it ready by Monday. Sure enough, the car was ready on Monday, no games, price as quoted, and ice cold AC. I took my 2010 truck to a competitor, after a week to get in, for no AC and they had it for 2 weeks for a compressor change... Guy Motors will now be my go to for auto repairs I can't handle on my own.

Its not very often that you get a sense of trust from an auto shop. When your instincts know, they just know. From the time talking to Paul and Brittney in the office, to dropping off my truck and picking it up repaired then next day, I knew that I was dealing with the right organization and one that I could trust with doing it right and standing behind their service. My first time ever using ''Guy Motors'' (Mechanicsville, Md.) for any of my vehicle maintenance issues, was on Tuesday, August 1st 2023. Paul (Mgr.) was very polite and professional and Jeff (Tech) did an outstanding job. They took my SUV in immediately, and even though they seemed to be very very busy, the Customer Service skills were second to none. I was very impressed by the total experience and I will be bringing my vehicles here in the future, for all my maintenance needs. Keep up the great work guys and thank you!!

Tried to charge me $1300+ for a $500 job. Went elsewhere and was satisfied 😊 I guess they assumed since I was a woman I would be too "green" to figure it out. They try to add on various miscellaneous "services" and "parts" that you either didn't originally come there for or even need. Bunch of shysters. Try either Forrest Automotive in Lexington Park or Cheseldine Tire & Auto in California (both about 20-25 minutes away) instead.

First this business is very fast in there response and very detailed. They did not do a service however the diagnostic turnaround time was within hours, there detailed observations were key. They found issues without a request. There labor fees are higher than other local business which was the only downside but I am willing to pay for excellence in work. I will return for my repairs so they can obtain the fifth star

Update- 1 week after getting the truck MD inspected my front brakes started grinding. Goes to show their inspection isn’t a real safety inspection. If an actual inspection and measurements on the pad were taken, why are my fronts almost metal to metal?I’ve religiously used them for vehicle inspections since I’ve moved here. Unfortunately this will be my last. Never have I been charged a reinspection fee for a vehicle that failed for something minor. When I commented that, Paul became very pompous and wanted to argue. I let them know this will be my last time doing business with them, his response “Okay that’s fine” tells me everything I need to know. As a business owner myself, sometimes it’s not about making a quick buck as it is making a customer. Guy motors has gotten very greedy, with time it will catch up with them.

Guy motors took great care of us to ensure my Dads car was safely drivable after a 6-car accident. They verified the alignment was good, so we could safely drive the car back home to Texas. Went in for an oil change. Girl at the desk came back out with a estimate of what needed to be done. Over 900 bucks. Took my car to Southern tire and only the brake pads needed to be replaced. 213 bucks. Screw you Guy motors! Rip off!Service: Oil change

Impeccable customer service. They do great work at a fair price and are extremely fast. All of the mechanics there are true professionals and dedicated to their trade, and it shows in their work. They are attentive to all of my needs and answer all of the questions I have. Most importantly is they are honest. They make recommendations based on their professional experience and don’t push you into getting things you don’t need. They have done work for me multiple times and I am always impressed with the results. They are worth the drive, or tow if it’s needed.

A friend had me bring my car here years ago. Since then I have bought multiple vehicles here and never disappointed. They can fix any car ,truck etc. They don't mess around and try to sell unnecessary items or services. One big plus is they sell excellent tires at a very reasonable rate and for the quality is way better than most any brand sold by our Wal-Mart friends. I don't trust very easily when it comes to mechanic shops or dealer shops ,but I trust Guy's over anyone else.Service: Engine repair

I had a fantastic experience with Guy Motors. My wife drives past the Mechanicville location every day and saw their sign that says they make keys, which I was in need of. I worked with the manager Paul and he was amazing. Saved me hundreds of dollars compared to what the dealer quoted me. He even provided my vehicles key code for future use. The dealership charges $100 to "research" the key codes which is ridiculous. I will be returning to see Paul at Guy Motors Mechanicsville.

Paul, the manager at the Mechanicsville location, and his crew are excellent. I trust Paul. Joe, AKA “6.0 Joe” fixed my 2003 F350 6.0 Diesel when other local shops could not. Paul and Joe quickly and accurately diagnosed the problems. Paul gave me a firm estimate for the work and then got it done under budget and ahead of schedule. Communication as work progressed was very good. I felt Paul and his team appreciated my business and respected me. Paul was always willing to explain the work and why it was necessary until I had no more questions. I just recently moved from Virginia to Maryland and was told I had to have a Maryland state inspection prior to registering my car. Fortunately, I called Guy Motors and they were able to get me in right away and had my car inspection complete quickly and for a very reasonable price. I was told before I went that Maryland State Inspections can be up to $150.00 so I was thrilled to find out it was only $89.00. I appreciate the quick service and I'm happy to have found my new car place in Maryland. I will be sending my husband to them next week for his car inspection and for any future car repairs. Guy Motors programmed a new key-fob for my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. It works great! I found the cost to be a little pricey. However, when compared to what the dealers and others were charging, I felt good about the price I paid for the service.

I went there today for battery issue with my vehicle. Paul was very engaging and reasonably priced. Excellent service and prompt.. Definitely reccomend for auto repair. Mechanics are ASE certified and they have capabilities to work on Chrysler with their FCA synchronization! Excellent place right here in Mechanicsville, Md.
