I am upset because I didn't have the patience to wait INSIDE for them to start cooking. If you didn't know, gray brothers started serving hot country fried chicken. You can get four pieces for 5 dollars. Now, if the cost was never a factor to you, you will definitely respect the taste. Unlike Popeyes, churches, KFC, And others, Gray brothers opens early but closes a 8:00 p.m. but the kitchen closes at 5:00 P.m. When you have good food you open and close when you want. I had to keep one of the stars hoping they decide to open on Sundays and later in the days. If they choose not to I will probably have changed it to 5 stars anyway. Thanks Gray brothers. I just left and they told me they hadn't cooked any yet. SEE YOU AT 12: NOON.

I mean the food ain’t no lowes foods or wegmans but it’s a local one stop shop for lunch and groceries. Drinks weren’t cold enough and items in store were marked way over the usual price you see in the city. But i would come back again.Edit June 2022Food was awesome this time around. And drinks were cold. I keep coming back cause it’s convenient and the people are super friendly.

Lil offended. I know darn well there are home fries from the previous day and early in day . They are so air dried from the reheat in the microwave. Also, ordered sunny side up eggs.

If you want to purchase top quality meat, this is where you need to go. Especially their hand cut steaks. The BEST porterhouses in the SOMD!!

I purchased the Macaroni and cheese and I noticed an odd smell and found mold in the cheese☹️. After further inspection I was able to see the the container had been double marked. As you can see in the photo attached, they threw a second sticker on to extend the expiration date. I did go in and express my concern with the workers there and they explained that they believed me and I was refunded. However, I just want the public to be aware that this is happening. I understand the tough times during the Covid-19 pandemic are hard on local businesses... the products may not be moving off the shelves as quickly as before.. I enjoy shopping at the Gray Brothers Deli.. this was just a very unacceptable circumstance.

I may grocery shop between Waldorf, Bryans Road, and La Plata. . But I only buy my meat and chicken from Grays. Hands down the best cut to order butcher and meat supplier in the area.

Awesome crew in the back kitchen and deli area. They always say good morning with a smile on their faces, no matter how busy they are. Awesome BLT's and breakfast selections. All bad for you but Damn Delicious!!! Try the pancakes. Try the French toast. Try the........ that's it, I'm going!!!

A country store off the beaten path where the meat is fresh and at its best! It has just enough to make your refrigerator smile! 😉The staff has been here forever saying that they respect their customers. I’ve never walked in this store and they didn’t have something I needed. It’s the kind of place where you wonder all day what you want to eat walk in the store and literally think OMG I want everything! The food...don’t even get me started with the little deli. The Deli. Is. Amazing. In fact I’m heading there today to grab some stuff!

Tomahawk steaks! Last summer we were able to get Tomahawk steaks. They were a great price for such a rear cut of beef. Always friendly service. And I cant forget to mention the "club" sandwich... Its fit for a king!

I work in the area and when I tell you this place is a diamond in the rough!!!! I had the biscuits and gravy for breakfast with eggs, bacon and potato fries with grilled onions...it was AMAZING! Thank you for the wonderfully delicious experience.
