I'm SO Happy I found this place! The Pharmacist Shannon was so sweet and INCREDIBLY HELPFUL!!! She literally went above and beyond..So Thank You Shannon😊 And on top of that my medicine was cheaper there than the Walgreens by me. It was worth the Drive.

These people are SO EXTREMELY rude and unaccommodating. They will literally make you run out of medication before you can pick up your refill. The pharmacist there believes she's God and her decisions trump policy. Called corporate who were very apologetic for her nasty attitude. Was suppose to get a call back by the manager... Never happened. AVOID THIS PLACE.

The Walgreens itself is okay, and the non-pharmacy workers are amazing.However, the pharmacy staff are some of the most under-qualified, unprofessional, and rude people I've ever seen run a pharmacy.These day's you're gambling between Ketamine Kyle telling you your wife's medicine will be ready at 3pm (it's 3:15pm) and then shrugging his shoulders, or you get the horrifically rude girls who genuinely make you feel like you're interrupting their hang out time with friends.Often times you'll wait 10 to 15 minutes in line until a worker notices you only to hear for the 3rd time that day that the medicine "aint ready yet bud."Go to CVS.

I came into the pharmacy an hour before they closed tonight needed an important medicine for my 4 year old that is sick. The ladies (I wish I could remember their names) were so nice and made sure I had it quickly. Best experience I’ve had at a pharmacy and it means so much that I was able to get medicine for my sick kids.

I'm 68 years old and this is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I gave them 3 chances and the last experience was the worst.Too many details to elaborate.Stay away at all cost!!!

Rudest pharmacy techs I have ever worked with on a personal and a professional level. They cut you off or hang up on you. They do not listen or care enough to investigate a problem or help with a solution. They act entitled and are lazy and will never go above and beyond. They have no business being in this field. Poor excuse for customer service.

Go to any pharmacy but here. They have the most rudest staff I've ever seen. They are always out of stock of vital medication, and won't tell you when they will be getting their next shipment. I've never seen a more incompetent group of people in my life. I'm not even sure they know what they are doing half the time. It's almost like they hired these people straight outta highschool.

Went to pick up one prescription that was ready. The other one they informed me that they don't sell that medication and suggested to get something over the counter instead. Not a problem, and they even wrote down the name. I asked what strength to get and was told to just read the dosage on the package. Turns out the medication they recommended is for adults and kids over the age of 12, my son who it was intended for is 5yrs old....

It was hard to decide between a 1 or 2 but went with two as occasionally run into extremely helpful people back in the pharmacy and up at the registers. Have had a prescription order given to me that didn't match the doctor's prescription but they did fix their mistake. There can be an exceptional lack of communication and sometime lack of follow through. Despite having tried to correct a doctor's fax number numerous times the old one did not get taken out of their system. Everytime they tell me that they have sent requests for referrals or prior authorizations they never get to the doctor's office. My doctors moved offices almost 2 years ago now. Today I was in the front of the store and purchased way too many things as there were good sales and we're planning a car trip with grandchildren so stocked up. I am handicapped and had parked directly in front of the store with my car being visible from the register. Having difficulties with walking and lifting because of back, hip, knee shoulder problems I asked if someone could help me to my car. I was told "No, I don't think we do that." A call to a manager went unanswered. The clerk and the lady behind me helped put things into my cart. The lady behind me said she would help me transfer things to my car after she completed her purchase which she did. Guess the message is that I certainly should either stay home, not shop at that Walgreens or, at very least, keep my purchases to a minimum. I am not ready to never go out so choose the latter. Despite an offer from the lady that had helped me to take my cart inside I told her that I was choosing to leave it outside so that an employee would have to retrieve it from just in front of my car.

I just called this pharmacy…never paid attention to the time…was placed on hold and because it was close to their break, they decided to pick up the phone and hang up on me. I’m guessing this was done to avoid answering a call before break but super rude an inconvenient!!! I’ll be changing pharmacies so thanks again Walgreens!

The lady that helped me tonight was awesome I came in probably an hour before closing and She was so friendly and helpful I was looking for a random item and she took me right to it. I will definitely be stopping back in! Thank you

Whomever answers the phone is extremely rude and should not be working at a pharmacy. I called initially to see if they were open due to snow, I asked what time did they close, 8? She said normal time, I said so 8, she said 9. I then call back to see if they have my meds and she hangs up on me before I was done talking and said BYE rudely. I have never had an experience with a pharmacy staff member like this. She does not need to be working there. She is not friendly at all. Extremely unprofessional.

The Pharmacist in charge is the most unprofessional and non customer oriented individual I have ever dealt with in a customer driven scenario. As a result of her lack of skill, my child will not have the medicine he needs on a daily basis. I will NEVER recommend this pharmacist and the biggest shame is the employees working un the pharmacy and dealing with the customers and answering the phones are customer oriented. TIME FOR A NEW PHARMACIST I will recommend to all I know and the doctors I see DO NOT use this pharmacy.

My Son had pneumonia. Ten minutes to closing and the scrambled to get all his medication approved. Did I mention I forgot the insurance card? No problem. They helped me pull it up. My son asked a million questions about cough syrup. They are technically closed but pointed us in the right direction and explained all our options. The new staff is friendly. Thanks for saving our weekend!

Called about having trouble getting the covid vaccine because I am a health care worker. Got hung up on @1:23pm they must have been getting ready for lunch break. Called back at 8pm and got serious attitude from pharmacy worker and was told to check the site at 12am when I tried to explain that the website would not even let go in she hung up on me again. Will never ever use this pharmacy at Lusby again.

This Walgreens is by far the worst I have ever been too. Took 3 try’s for them to get my order right. They have the rudest most unhelpful pharmacist and staff I have ever used. I will not only never use this location again but from this experience alone will change and never use a Walgreens again. Btw only reason for one star is it wouldn’t let me use zero.

Horrible!!!!! Horrible customer service, called to verify the quantity of my prescription and the “manager” as they claimed to be, was rude, and acted like the information wasn’t available. She kept getting off topic trying to explain things I did not call for and that I was already aware of. Kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain to her that that’s not what I was calling for. I asked her to let me talk and she said, and I quote “no I will not let you talk!” And I was shocked! Needless to say all my prescriptions will be transferred immediately to another pharmacy. Like there are literally a million other pharmacies, you are not special, and no one has to deal with disrespect.

Walgreens Drive Thru is important to me and a lot of others with mobility issues. This is especially true at my local store because the Pharmacy is all the way in the back corner of the store. I get that the reason is access for drive thru. But, they are SO SLOW!! If I drive up and there are 2 cars ahead of me I can about guarantee I will be there at least 30 minutes, if not more. Drive thru is for dropping off and or picking up Prescriptions. Why would it take 10 to 15 minutes per car for that? You drive up, give your name, they look at the computer to see if order is ready or not or to confirm your insurance etc., on a drop off. On a pick up, it is either ready or it’s not. They then find it, ring it up, and give it to you, right? So again, why does this take so long? I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time, but I keep thinking it will get better. Now I don’t have to just go there occasionally. My illness now has me there twice a month and it is only getting more frustrating. They need help, or training, or I need to move my 5 prescriptions to CVS in the next town.

I usually have good experiences here.. but Today with all of this "social distancing" etc.. I go to the drive thru at 130pm. Its CLOSED! We are in the middle of a pandemic and the president is telling businesses to encourage less contact. Yet the one place sick people go to THE PHARMACY forces you to come inside. I don't understand this. Thursday at 130pm. I look at the parking lot and it's entirely full.. so I drive home. No way.Disappointed to say the least.Obviously they do NOT care about their customers health.

Stay away, seriously. There are other pharmacies not too much farther away. I came in to get a prescription filled and they let me sit in the waiting area for an hour before telling me the medicine was out of stock. I am beyond furious.Edited to add that there's a pharmacy in the Giant literally across the street. The pharmacist there was very helpful, explained that they were out of the medication my dog needed, and that they would happily call my vet to work out an alternate prescription. I highly recommend just going there.

I have always had great experiences at our local Lusby Walgreens. I dont expect my prescription to be ready immediately. I realize they are busy filling orders for many of my neighbors. I drop off the Rx. I go home or do errands. I get a text when my meds are ready. Sometimes there are a few cars in the drive-thru. I either go into the store, come back a bit later or the next day IF it can wait. Thank you for providing the medications I need.

I only gave a 2 for the front cashier. The pharmacy is the worst....I hate the fact that there's always a long line inside and at the drive up window. They are so slow and man that is a cashier told me one night he was the pharmacist when I asked him if I could speak to the pharmacist....its so close to home and I love Walgreen's but they have to get it together. No customer service at all.

Don't go to this pharmacy! Christie is the worst customer service oriented person I've ever meet at a pharmacy. I also watched 25 to 30 get helped while I waited for almost 2 hours for my wife to be seen. I also listened to all the other complaints while I had my 2 hour wait.

Just needed to fill a prescription while I’m out of town. Pharmacist says they can’t fill it because it’s within 2 hours of close and they’re too busy, but the ones in Florida have done it for me before and they’re far more busy than this location. Just make the drive to Prince Frederick or California instead.

Dropped off my script at 3:45pm. I was told the in store wait was 2 hours. Came back at 6:10pm they said another 30 minutes. This is why I left CVS and now this is worse. Hire people to fill scripts, quit being cheap

Horrible pharmacy. Prescription was sent in 2 days ago and it's still not ready, and even called 4 times to nudge them to get it done. Most ridiculous experience ever, when you call hour before coming to pick it up and it's still not ready when you're there you know not to come back. Go to CVS!

Lusby location gives poor service, not just to customers but to doctors offices as well. In addition, the pharmacy and pharmacist don't take responsibility for making sure they have done their job to the best of their ability.
