I love supporting local businesses even when out of town. This is definitely a hidden gem. I had great service from Loretta, the home made chips were to perfection, and new to their menu is the 'Island Fish Sandwich', very much worth the drive if you like fish (not fishy tasting at all). Any meal on the water is good, yet even with clouds, this was a great visit. Limited seating inside & out, plan ahead.

Nice little spot on the water overlooking the marina! It’s off the beaten path! Worth a try. Friendly staff and good clean area! Not a very large selection to choose from on the menu but a good verities! My group had mixed emotions about the food being first time here! I would like to give them another visit next time in the area, to see if it is any different!

Forget all the other Solomons joints with their identical menus, ridiculously-priced / iffy-quality crab cakes, and super expensive cocktails. The best restaurant is Hidden Harbor, both for its singular waterfront ambience and the unique items on the menu. I’ve tried just about everything and everything is delicious. (A couple items aren’t “perfect” but that’s to be expected.) There’s a mega-loaded stuffed and fried hot dog that just has to be experienced, and what sounds like a bizarre cheeseburger topped with pineapple and SPAM and bacon and fried onion is legitimately one of the most delicious things ever. (Pic #2.) Most frequently I get a Frankenstein mash-up of my two favorite sandwiches, the Cuban Reuben (Pic #1). My only complaint: IT’S NOT BIG ENOUGH AND I COULD EASILY EAT TWO OF THEM!! 😊 As for their pizzas, I’m picky, and they’re easily the best pizzas in southern Calvert. No contest.Caveat: They may be unexpectedly closed when you drive down there, or be sold out of the things you’re dying to eat. Kinda frustrating. I should dock a star for that … but I won’t!

Very happy to visit Hidden Harbor for breakfast. The staff was very nice, and friendly. The server checked with us if we need anything else and everything was ok every few minutes.Eating is sitting outside which was great to enjoy the weather, atmosphere, and the beautiful environment around the area.

Been here twice, once for brunch and once for lunch and both meals were excellent. Would highly recommend. Well worth the wait for your food as the place seems pretty consistently busy. One thing to note is there is only outdoor seating.

I went to Hidden Harbour on Thursday night with a friend, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who let us pick where we wanted to sit. Once we were sat, we were greeted by our server Megan - she was an absolute star! Helped us pick some of the best items on the menu, let us know about there popular drink items and made conversation with us every time she passed our table. Because of Megan & the food, I will be back!

Seems like a great group of ladies working the dining area. You can tell they all get along so well! They welcome everyone with the same love, but you can tell them take care to get to know their regulars. We weren’t super thrilled with the food, though. The crab and shrimp salad stuffed avocado was pretty refreshing on a warm day, but not stellar. I expected the blackened fish sandwich to be grilled, not flour dipped and deep fried, so I had a hard time eating it since greasy fried foods aren’t my thing. Hubby said his burger was good, but also too heavy on the grease for him. If you’re into that sort of food palette, you’ll love it.

Service was slow, but they were swamped and the food definitely made up for it. Catfish Po Boy was super and hubby liked his pizza. The windows were open offering a nice, cool light breeze and the sunset on the harbor presented a beautiful view.

Easily the best kept secret of Solomons island. The breakfast is amazing and you will be missing out if you don’t stop by. 5 stars all day.

I was extremely disappointed in the previous review by Ms. Gray. I was actually sitting in the table right next to her at the same day they visited First of all, She and her party showed up 30 minutes before closing. The waitress explained, (and I heard it) that they had run out of the Home Fries and would be substituting “Tat-or Tots”. I heard the waitress ask them if that was OK or did they just not want the potatoes. They did not seem to be an objection from the group. There is a sign posted as you enter that explicitly states, “ We don’t serve fast food. We serve a good food.”I have been going to Hidden Harbor for years and have never experienced bad food or service. Just the opposite.I enjoy the outdoors environment, watching the beautiful Solomons Harbor. Yeah, there are flies like anywhere else. But there are fishing boats that clean the catch right beside the restaurant. Even though the fishermen clean off the cutting boards, it still has the potential to draw flies. Like any outside dining even at home. The staff greets everyone as if family. There was not one indication or rudeness by staff or prejudice observed by me coming from the Hidden Harbor Staff. I can’t say that about the four guest. In fact, based on the way the visitors treated staff and complained, lead me to the instant impression that they were trying to get the meal free. I don’t say that lightly.Parking: Handicap is available

We’ve been vacationing in the area for the last 5 years, last year we stumbled upon this place. The view of the marina is beautiful. My whole family enjoyed the meals we each got. The jerk chicken was really good, so flavorful, juicy and crispy all at the same time. And I have to make special mention of the Chicken Roti stew! It’s absolutely AMAZING!! Not something you see often and my gosh if I could’ve bathed in it I would have. My only wish would be for a bit bigger of a serving. Can’t wait to visit again this year.

Definitely off the beaten track! We were about to give up and go elsewhere until we saw the sign. The place is pet friendly. There were at least 6 puppers when we arrived. The first sign you notice is that they don't serve fast food. They serve good food. Both statements were correct! We did have to wait a little while but it was worth the wait! We will be back again!

Food made with love! Enjoyed the tuna wrap with homemade wasabi sauce, and brought along a picky kid who ate an entire pizza. The service was fast and so friendly we felt like family.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming for kids and dogs

The outdoor seating area was really relaxing. However the persistency of the flies is extremely irritating. Not to mention the service is slow. Food was ok. They ran out of everything, substituted fried potatoes for tater tots. However my 1 star rating is attributed to the managers response to the waitress’s mistake in the distribution of our omelettes. The waitress mistakenly gave my husband’s veggie omelette to my son who had an all meat omelette. Thank GOD neither had a food allergy. When we informed the manager her response was…”well you can’t just switch it?”After they had already eaten into it. You can’t tell what omelette is what, until you get bite into it. At that point I was over it. That’s not sanitary if you ask me. Finally it was a big disparity between the treatment of ‘us’, versus their white customers. Never again will I patronize this establishment.

The food is simple yet amazing. The menu is varied with something for everyone. My favorite is the steak and cheese sandwich. To die for. This is a hidden gem worth going out of your way for.
