NOT HOMEMADE AT ALL - ALTHOUGH THEY DON’T ADVERTISE AS SUCH SO NOT MISLEADING BUT SHOULD BE CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD.This place features resold Turkey Hill ice cream. Not homemade at all, but good for what it was and relatively inexpensive - then again Turkey Hill is a national brand found in most grocery stores.As such it makes it hard to give this place above a 3 star rating.We did not try a snow cone or the soft serve, but I may try them next time. Ordering was easy, customer service was okay.

The ice cream and soft serve are the stars. Great quality and value. Even with the ice cream, they fill the cone all the way to the bottom! Came here after a stop over at Larriland Farms. Ordered a kiddie cone for the little one, a milkshake, and the double bunker cone. Staff For really nice and answered all of our questions about the mixins. this was our first time going there so they gave us a little bit more time without pressuring us while we made up our mind.The setup is small but they do have several tables and a few benches. The tables are nicely spaced apart and they limit it to six people at a table. Would definitely come back here when in the area..

On another sweltering Maryland summer day, we went in search for some evening ice cream. We set our course due East and ended up in Lisbon (Maryland, not Spain) and went to a quaint little ice cream/snow cone stand called Alex’s. The ambience was great with lots of seating, a laid back country vibe, and some vintage neon signage. The ice cream was pretty good. Those of us that got the “Razzle” noted that the topping portion overpowered the actual ice cream. The Dutch chocolate milkshake, but wished we had a little bit thicker straw. We also got a Moose Tracks Razzle (aka flurry) with Butterfingers and Peanuts. The line moved quickly and the ambiance was just what we were looking for on a summer Sunday Night!

Great ice cream stand. CASH ONLY but there is a cash machine in the gas station down the street. Diverse menu for a small shop. Try the Double Dunker. Lots of seating (like endless) and a playground that my kids loved as they were growing up. Great farm stand on the circle as well (not cheap but very good) from 9-5 during the summer.

Charming place in an unexpected location! Great choices and really inexpensive! Not "close" to my home, but I'll be back! Did I mention they sell hot dogs?? Perfect piece of heaven tucked away quietly off the side of the road...but when you get here, you'll know you've arrived!

Wonder soft serve. I got the plain vanilla, and a friend got hers dipped in chocolate. The medium here is the size of a large from other ice cream spots. My other friends got a snow cone and hand dipped cookies & cream ice cream cone. Everyone loved their choices. You must visit! Support our local businesses.

A fun place to stop, especially if you have kids. They have a little playground and the ice cream is a good price. I recommend the chocoholic.

Everything I've had so far has been absolutely delicious especially the icecream! My favorite being the "Flavor burst". Oh and if you love having a massive amount of delicious icecream sitting on a cone instead of the tiny bit you get from an icecream truck this is the place you wanna go! It's Definitely worth the drive!

Great spot for ice cream and snow cones in a quaint rural community. They have many flavors to choose from offering both hard and soft serve with many cone options or in a dish. Toppings galore to choose from too and the employees are so nice and friendly. Worth the drive and will definitely be going back soon. Visited today 4/15/22 for first time this season and they haven't missed a beat, in fact they are better than last year with expanded menu and flavors.

We love Alex's, particularly on school nights because it's a great place to meet up with friends as they have an open playground where everyone can play. It's usually a bit slow to order on busy nights, but where the kids can play, it's not a big deal.

Love the place, cute little space with real quality ice cream to beat the heat. Went on a motorcycle ride and was feeling so hot that searched ice cream and stumbled upon this gem. They not only offer ice creams but hot dog etc as well including sodas and water. There is seating space as well however they only take cash so please don't show up with only a credit card or digital wallet.

A nice find for ice cream! They have Turkey Hill ice cream to scoop, or soft serve. The chocoholic sundae was very good, chocolate soft serve, hot fudge, chocolate sprinkles, and whipped cream! They also have plenty of toppings, and other things like snowballs and chocolate dipped bananas on the menu. The two employees were friendly and fast. Plenty of seating, and it is cash only, FYI.

Staff very kind and we really wanted to like this place; what's better for a family with small kids than a place with ice cream AND a playground? The playground was closed, which I get, we could have called ahead, so we decided to sit for ice cream. Hadn't even ordered the ice cream and the bees were too much with kids. I had to go to the car with one kiddo while my husband ordered the ice cream with the other kiddo and they were going to eat it walking around but the bees really followed them around with the ice cream, so we all sat in the car (and had to shoo 2 bees out of the car while they were rushing into the car) not a great experience. Staff was very kind though!!

Just happened to be looking for an ice cream/ snow ball stand. Found them fairly close and had the best snowball around. They are much better than the local mt. Airy businesses. Great service and left a tip. Will return afain and again. Even the dog enjoyed being there

We get out Christmas trees here every year. They have a friendly and helpful staff that are quite competent and full of the spirit of the season. Their trees are always very fresh and not painted.

Grabbed a couple of cones, nothing spectacular, it's soft serve. Son had some hand dipped icream that he raved about, I think it was "peanut butter sundae". What I'm interested in is making my next trip a 2 course meal...chili dog, then some icream. Everyone seemed to be about the chili dogs!

Old fashioned ice cream stand. We love going to Alex's the ice cream is good, especially the custard. I have Turkey Hill peanut butter cup, last night. No peanut butter! Everyone else's was as ordered and delicious. We've been going for years after crabs up the street. They have live music on Saturday nights sometimes, fun!

Always great. Young ladies work hard and are extremly pleasant. Don't forget to tip for college fund! The amount of ice cream served is very generous. Twice the amount of Baskin robbins!!!!this is a Howard county gem!!!

This place is awesome! Little shack that slings ice cream and snowballs with a play ground and picnic tables. Heck the last time I was there the fire house across the street came over and were singing karaoke!

Great visit! Went to go look at swingsets for our daughter (Myers Mini Barns) and got a cone and hot dog while. Super friendly, clean, and great service. Will be back.
