The one on great mills rd in Lexington Park has imposed a new policy that will not allow you to bring your own reusable bags. They made us leave our bags near the front door while we shopped. Luckily, our bags were still there when we finished. So glad they are helping the earth by making everyone use more plastic! (Sarcasm) All to prevent shoplifting. Well all it will do is prevent me from shopping there.

This Store is going completely down hill extremely unprofessional store manager and the produce area is not fresh. Please fix this problem. The store manager needs training on communication. When you are in a position of running a store you are supposed to no how to communicate properly. Also no reusable bags are aloud in the store.

Can't bring in your own bangs anymore. Store policy as of December 2023. Decent deals, check produce thoroughly, great store brand dinner items. Selection is better then 7 months ago.

I'm giving them 4 stars because they have GOOD sushi🍣and fruit🍇🥝. But those Jalapeno Bison Dogs🌭 have GOT TO GO. I want the regular ones back please! 🌭😎👍UPDATE: I appreciate y'all bringing the regular bison dogs back!! 5 ⭐⭐⭐

Wish I could give this store 10 stars. I live closer to the square weis and the 2 are like night and day. Not bc of the workers but the Callaway store itself is bigger, has a much better selection, the produce seems fresher and so much more attractive. The floral selection always has so many beautiful plants and flowers. Considering the fact that this area doesn't have very much this store really is great.

Mostly clean with a good selection. The place was a improvement on Food Lion, which was in this location before. In which I once saw a rat and customers getting into a fist fight.Thank you so much to the Weis team fixing up this location. It was much needed for Lexington Park.Stock can still be an issue, but the lot is just horrible. Not the stores fault but a warning.They carry items Callaway doesn't and vice versa. It's still much better than it was as food lion, and when it 1st opened but I still don't go unless I have to.

This store needs to upgrade there mangers and cashiers the manager name Mary is very rude and Unprofessional. some of the cashiers are very rude and Unprofessional as well. They pick and choose who they want to ring up I suggest more training is needed here. I shop here a lot and no one should have to experience this type of behavior.

Don’t really like going to this one on Great Mills Rd but it’s close to home. It’s dirty and cluttered. But mostly even before like today you get in the door people are stopping you begging for money. Today someone was actually sitting inside the door in a chair begging for money. It’s not the employees duty to chase them away, it’s the owner/managers job. This is the main reason I go to Giant or the Weis in Callaway.

Nice store, super unsafe. A 3 weeks ago I saw one homeless guy posted outside the store flagging ppl down for money.A week later I see 2 homeless guys on either side of both store entrances, now I can't dodge them.Just yesterday, I park my car. I'm about to open my door to go shopping when a 6 ft tall, homeless guy with a black hoodie, (it's 97 degrees outside) walks towards the driver side of my car, while walking he puts his right hand in his hoodie front pocket.... stands by my door, and motions me to roll my window down.While maintaining eye contact, I put my key in the ignition, and slowly drove off, while maintaining eye contact, and drove away.I guess it's gas prices, bad economy, etc but crime going to get worse with the economy. They don't care that the police station is in view of the store. I guess jail is a free meal

Store was relatively east to find. It was clean. Prices were reasonable. There is a self check-out. We went thru the line with a cashier who was quick and friendly. Bonus - I picked up a souvenir Maryland tshirt

Went to Weis on Great Mills Rd. today. The service checking out was suburb. Michelle was so helpful. She cked me out through the self checkout and bagged my groceries. Very kind of her. Thanks Weis.

Convenient location. Parking lot is full of holes. Poor selection of produce. Somewhat often short on fresh vegetables. Limited selection of meats. Occasionally smells bad. Panhandled multiple times at the store parking lot and inside too. Avoid if you have an alternative store. Going to shoppers instead.

Not very clean, parking lot is a disaster, carts are broken and nasty, store is disfunctional, employees are rude, people constantly begging for money or cigarettes on the sidewalk, what else can be said?

Major difference compared to the old Food Lion! Customer service is incredible and the prices are great! I saw someone saying Wal-Mart's is better, umm no they are horrible here in St. Mary's County!! Yea, their prices might be low, but my time is far more valuable then saving 10 cents on Mac and Cheese!! Thanks Weis for having the sense to improve the customer service and keep prices low!!

This is where I usually shop. The store is always neat and clean and the staff is helpful. Over the last few months there has always been plenty of registers open or staff standing by to open one if the line gets too long. Great job!

Where to begin? Meat department has rotten meat. I purchased 3 packs of chicken that were completely rotten. Called and went back to replace but their was hardly anything to choose from. I was over charged at the deli. Pricing states 5.99 a lb. I was charged 9.99 a lb. I never receive all of the sale prices. Usually notice a difference every time I shop there. $12.00 worth last time. One night I had to put back a can of formula and was denied the opputiunty to use my weis reward card. Manager alson stated " yeah it won't work now". They didn't give me any other option so I paid their ridiculous full prices. Also one evening the cashier tossed my receipt onto the belt instead of handing it to me and gave me complete attitude the entire time I was in there. Me and my sister were in shock by the way we were treated. We also listened to her complain about being in a bad mood because she was the only lane open. Once I get the chance to go somewhere else..I will. I will NEVER go back. There are a cpl friendly workers and a nice male manager. Besides that the store is crappy!

Pretty pricey for slightly worse than Wal-Mart quality groceries. It's nice because its the closest to all the nearby apartment complexes. I've only come here because of the distance, but the prices are too high here. Staff is very nice though!

I really don't like to shop at Weis to often. It seems a bit pricy with low quality products especially thier meats. Although they do have some tasty pastries. But thats just my opinion. I especially like thier strawberry filled pastries.

It's not the store's fault, but T-Mobile's signal is weak af in this area. I usually don't go in when I take my mother shopping here. At least there's an Atlantic Broadband access point near (probably at McDonald's) to help me keep my sanity. Weis has their own WiFi, but it doesn't reach the parking lot. **sad panda**The store itself, the few times I've been in it, is fairly nice as well laid out. Staff always there to help you.

I had to give it a star so I could put my review on here.. but in all hounsty I wouldn't have given it a star.. the store is over priced for the area. I WILL NEVER BUY MEATS THERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I bought ribs 2 days ago I open them 2 go to cook them and there sour.. sadly this isn't the 1st time this has happened at this store. I bought hamburger meat there 1 time the outside was nice and pink i get it home and open it so i can cook my dinner well the inside was brown and didnt smell good.. I hear people in there conplaining all the time about the meats being sour.. the ribs on the top looked and smelled ok but it was a different story for the ribs on the bottom.. the hole pack was sour.. all I am gonna say is I wish it was still food lion .. I could always find everything I needed.. now when I leave I spent more then I wanted to and still didn't get everything that I needed..
