Been coming here since it reopened. The store used to be amazing and I always spent money. Inventory put out on the floor has gotten less and less and more trash items. Even the front glass portion is completely bare. Also, I was present two times when a gentleman came in saying he was called about some items that came in for him to buy (some sort of video game or electronic). Now knowing that they have a client list to call when specific items come in, I will not be coming back. This place will not last much longer if this keeps up.

thrift store has a nice selection of dvds and clothes. used to have a nice cd and video game selection too but people aren't aloud to have fun anymore so "resellers" come in everyday and buy anything decent to make a 2$ profit. staff is really nice. they also have turntables frequently and i picked up a 60$ turntable for 6 bucks. no good vinyls though. all of them worth more than a few bucks are bought by resellers

I started coming here about 3-4 months ago. They don't have alot, but what they do have is clean and organized. I could go on and about the young lady at the front. Me and my daughters were there Tuesday, and she was just simply remarkable. I honestly think I come for the items and great customer service.š

This shop is among the cleanest and most organized thrift shops I've ever been into. I shop here multiple times per week because of the great everyday prices, friendly staff and constantly updating inventory. Khadeeja, Tiffany, Julia, Lauren and Annette are friendly and attentive. Consistently updating and consolidating their inventory keeps the store feeling fresh and new every time I visit. If you love thrifting, Vintage Values is a must stop shop.

I was pleasantly surprised recently when I discovered this boutique like thrift store. One of workers (Annette) was exceptionally helpful to me while looking for grandkid gifts. The books and clothing sections are well organized. Each department is designated and well marked. Iāve been back a dozen times in the last 3 weeks! Great job and kudos to your mission.

Extremely friendly staff!!! Most prices are pretty fair. They do price the items in the front case WAYYYYY too high, especially the electronics and video games. The items are most of the time price more than new online, thatās why the case is always full.

I really like this Thrift Store. The employees are friendly and they have some nice furniture pieces. This is one of the cleaner and more organized thrift stores I have been too. The books are only 10 cent each so my kids love to go and pick some kids books out.

Love this store! They have great deals and lots of selection in all categories except men's clothing. Also, I wish they didn't keep the kids clothing and linens in those deep bins because it's nearly impossible to see everything they have. Other than that, no complaints! The staff is helpful and I noticed them bringing out a few pieces to a regular customer which I thought was really nice. I need to get an "in" like that!

Had a good experience today at Vintage Values in Lexington Park, MD. I bought a 700 watt Proctor Silex Microwave with turntable for$10.00. This made me happy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Plan to shop here again soon.

Made a large donation to this store, only to receive rude comments as I dropped off each shopping cart full of quality toys and furniture. On the way out the last time, gave me a hard time about giving me back the bins I used to deliver the donation. This is probably a great place to buy cheap used stuff, but if you have a donation, I'd recommend taking it somewhere else. Apparently the folks here are too good to be the gracious recipients of your donations.

I almost didn't go to this store because of other reviews. But I am so glad I went anyhow!Keep in mind when reading this review that I was looking for clothing. I give it 4 stars because there was a good selection and the clothing appeared to be in good condition. Many items were new with tags! I actually went on a sale day, and clothing was $1. The regular prices were comparable with other thrift stores. Dresses $7, suits $12, shoes $5-8. So I wouldn't buy much here if there was not a sale running. But since they were having such a great sale, it deserves a little higher rating. The building is a little run down, there are some unorganized tubs of clothing. I didn't find any knockout pieces (no high end designers. Mostly just brands you find at the mall). But I was overall pleased. The service was unremarkable--they were neither rude nor exceptional helpful. They just did their jobs.I recommend you give this store a try. I am happy I did and I would gladly go back.

I went in about 3 months ago, yes the store was organized but the staff was NOT friendly at all. The prices are a bit pricey for a thrift store.

I went in there Saturday, Nov,7th and I was in here once before about a month ago.I didn't like it here then and I didnt like it here this time. I'm never going back, Their rude, caddy and very sarcastic. They take their sweet time getting someone to the counter while the rest of them that also worked their continued to talk and carry on. Which I think it's very unacceptable and unprofessional.I think the prices are hi and if your a reseller its just not worth the aggravation.Never been to the one in Leonard-town they have better reviews. We'll see I'm gonna try them next.Good will in Waldorf is nice . Clean with dressing rooms and the people their work with you if its been there longer than a week. Every Tuesday is 20% off day. I sold some things I got from there.

Rude counter lady. Absolutely no politeness from her whatsoever. The customers are actually much friendlier than some of the staff. Prices continue to raise significantly for a thrift store. There are some unique finds from there occasionally but for the prices they are asking some days, the staff needs an attitude check.

I had a lot of fun visiting this store. I was surprised how big it was inside. It's very well organized too. I was able to find cute organizing bins, stationary, plus size clothes, art supplies and costume jewelry. Prices were great. Staff was friendly. I look for was forward to visiting again.

The Lex Park store is rude and shady! I agree with some of the other reviewers, the prices are outrageous for a thrift store. But what's worse is their shady pricing tactics. When I asked the price for books I was told "it depends, most books are .25 and up. When I checked out the rude woman charged me 1.00 per book including the paperbacks! The Leonardtown Vintage Values is totally different-- friendly, helpful staff and all prices are stated before you buy (and not changed on the mean spirited whims of the sales clerks).

Donāt waste your time with these people. VERY RUDE. They are not a 501(c)3 even if they say they are. Their prices on used clothing is s comparable to Rossā new clothing prices. The lady who runs the place is a real piece of work.

This place is an excellent thrift store. Good value, prices are clearly marked, there was a good sale when I was there, wide selection of lots of kinds of things. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient.I think that most of the bad reviews here come from ignorant racists, to be honest.

Pretty good selection, clothes in good quality for being donations! We just dropped a truck load of donations off there and still went inside and bought a few things for ourselves!!

I decided to go for the minimal life style and have a lot of nice items to donate. I was going to donate here, but after reading all the comments about how terrible donators are treated and how rediculous the prices are, Iām going to keep looking. My belongings brought me a lot of joy, I donāt want them to end up in a place that brings so much negativity to the community.

This shop gets great items in good shape in. I have found lots of things for resale and to add to my collection. They dont have much room to keep a lot out but they make sure to keep what shelves they have full. The only problem i have here is I will sometimes stand at the counter for a while waiting to check out while certain employees talk with their friends and carry on. And if something isnt priced I always avoid asking unless i must have it. the reason beeing the woman in charge makes a split decision on the fact that your interested in it, and gives you an outrageous price. I saw a router switch i needed and asked what it would be and she responded $25 I can go to any store EVEN RADIOSHACK<--the worste on prices and get a new one for that. some prices are just bad. but at least they have stuff that is in good condition and clean.

Cross-posted to Yelp. This is for the Vintage Values II in Lexington Park. I have shopped at this store for 15 years and it has gone down the toilet over at least the last 5 years, I can't seem to leave without either being ignored or insulted. The prices are ridiculous and the sales advertisements are misleading (A rack will have a sign saying "ALL SHIRTS 1/2 OFF" but when you go to buy one, the story is "well, all shirts except the ones with pink or green tags." I've seen beat up Wal-mart furniture and stained Fossil purses for more money than they cost new.Pricing: You used to be able to get a pair of Converse sneakers for .50c, now a pair of dingy slip-ons are $8. Used sweaters run $6-$15. A chaise lounge came in while I was there and I asked how much it was going to be; they hadn't looked it over yet but said probably $275!! They have increased their prices because their primary customers were relocated (a Section-8 community known as the Flat Tops), and they take advantage of those who now drive to the store.Customer Service: No service . If you aren't completely ignored, you might get an answer, and that answer might change by the time you check out. The attitudes of the store manager and some of the cashiers are those of 4 year-olds- they are clearly incompetent of professional sales service and this store would not survive if it were a private business. They will insult you just a few feet away, and give you lip if you have so much as a question. Maybe they are just too used to treating their disabled "volunteers" this way. There are one or two kind associates, but they can't make up for the managerial shortcomings.Ease of Shopping: If a unique item is not marked they make up a price on the spot, and that price might also change. I tried to buy a camera lens and was told was $4- at check out I was told I had to buy the whole set including camera for $25 (the set did not match, 3 different brands). I tried to buy a loose comforter another time and they said I had to find (i.e., dig through all the bins) and buy the matching skirt and sheets; which also were of different brands. Apparently something is a "set" if it all got donated together. There is no rhyme or reason as to how clothes are organized. No complaints about the shopping carts near the front of the store- but they don't match and I wonder where they came from?Atmosphere: Is typical of a thrift store. Bare bones, they use their items to decorate, there is music playing..not the cleanest place, but no outright complaints about the atmosphere- the dressing room could use some work, there is only one, but it is better than what they used to have (stalls with curtains)Quirks: $10 minimum to use a credit card. No ATM. Real jewelry (pearls/gold/gems/etc) is kept by staff- no "finds" in this place. They do not wash clothes before selling. When you donate you can write your own tax slip at the exit. The whole place is a firm 1 star. I don't recommend them unless you are looking for one thing in particular, like a computer case ($10), a lamp shade ($4), a khaki blazer ($12,) etc. And just run in and out. I would not donate to them either, I tried to get back something sentimental my mother had donated and they said I could buy it back if I could find it; turned out they had "most likely" destroyed it. They treat their charges and customers like dirt, and don't care about anyone's satisfaction- they talk about how awful the customers are and how they hate working there, right in front of the customers; which would get any regular employee fired, but not these self-righteous "volunteers".I suggest going to a small business instead.

I took 2 different donations here this week. The first one I had a super nice quality knife set I was struggling to carry with other things in my hands. The young guy is watching me struggle and when I said ālet me put this down so I donāt drop it on my footā he goes āwell thatās your problem not mine.āToday was my second bad encounter. The lady was so unnaprecitive of all the really nice things I was bringing in. Iām struggling carrying stuff out of my car trying to hurry because they were about to close and instead of easily helping me get the stuff I already took out of my car and set on the sidewalk, she just stares at me and lets me struggle. I leave and say thank you and Iām ignored and get the door slammed beside me. What is wrong with the individuals working here?? This is unacceptable. Take your nice belongings elsewhere because they are horrible, rude, and ungrateful and need to find other jobs obviously.

I'll be honest, if you're looking for something in particular this place is hit or miss. However, if you go in open minded, there's a good chance you'll find something cool you didn't really know you needed. They have lots of clothes to go through as well, always a great selection of sizes. And the staff are very friendly.

A small offering of goods. There's a healthy offering of books and movies. Prices seemed reasonable. I was able to pick up two ties for $1 each, so I'm pleased about that.

Usually find good selection but lately they are switching people who are quite rude and their prices are skyrocketing to where you could buy it new for a little more.
