I have been taking my 3 dogs to Chesapeake Pet Resort and Groomers for years, my dogs have always been well taken care of, they usually get a cabin where they stay together. Laura the owner makes sure they are well and happy, and Autumn who grooms my fur babies does a great job, I fully recommend them!!!

Laura, Mary and their staff are always so amazing, whether it's doggy daycare, dog boarding or pet boarding, they always try to accommodate and make things work because they truly care about the pets that you entrust in their care and safety. I have a special needs cat that requires medication and can't jump or go up/down steep ramps. Laura did so much to help make my cat's boarding experience truly wonderful and stress-free. I also really appreciate and love that Laura lives on site so that way I know that if anything ever happens with my pet overnight, she is there to watch and take care of them.

I love this place. They are so friendly and they make my dog and I feel so welcome! I was recommended to them by a friend of mine who said they could help me groom my dog. I am so glad I came here. I’ve brought my dog to Chesapeake Pet Resort and Day Spa 3 times for grooming and not once have I been disappointed! They take great care of my dog AND they are quick. Somehow, my dogs smells good for WEEKS after and I just want to love her even more! I highly recommend this place and I soon hope to get my dog in here for day care.

Awesome place, don't hesitate to leave your pet here, they truly care about your pet. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly and caring. Pricing is very reasonable and competitive. We will be back every time for boarding needs.

Jenn! That woman is a godsend. Took my pups last minute, treated them like the royalty they deserved, and came out better looking than me. That's not saying much I know, but still the point is still the same.To continue, the compound was well maintained, user friendly to navigate, the animals were well taken care of, and greeted with smiles from both staff and patrons. I will be going back, I will be requesting Jenn, and I will be satisfied with the work they do AGAIN!

The staff there is absolutely fantastic with our dog and the puppo accomodations make it an easy stay over for our high maintenance princess. Very pleased with the whole experience and an easy first pick next time we go out of town and can't take the puppo.

The Pet Resort provides the best service! Our dog, Emma, had wonderful care. Not just the basics (food, water, shelter, exercise), but grooming and LOVE! Emma is a dog who wilts without hugs and Laura gave it ALL! Thank you!

This place was so great. I left my cat with them for approx. 4 days. He was fed, they posted pics of him and I got updates on his well-being daily. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a pet.

After what the owners 2 big dogs did to my friends little guy, we will NEVER do business with this place again. My little bichon will not become a victim of the vicious dogs of the owner.. When Susan owned Chessie Pets, is was a phenomenal place. You could tell how much she loved her work and her customers and all the fur babies trusted into her care. The new owners has NO IDEA what it takes to keep Chessiepets running the way Susan did. To any new clients--- ask around, do your homework, but most important-- keep looking. Her 2 big dogs might get loose and attack your fur baby, too...
