2021. Cashier attendants just yacking it up and not doing their jobs. Literally waited 5 minutes until they finished their conversation, I dare not interrupt. Store is always busy and stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. Very clean store. The holidays this chain has the best mini candy canes, so much that they were sold out before Christmas.6/1/2022 The bakery staff some are helpful and others are just meh and lazy. I simply asked if I could get a single cupcake w/a different color icing put on and the bakery staff said, no I can’t stop this project to put icing of a different color on a cupcake. She went to the freezer to get me a cupcake w/a different color then the color I requested. The reason for the 3 star rating is due to customer service.

Glenn does a great job in seafood! He steams up shrimp for me fresh and seasons them perfectly. Great attitude and work ethic! You can tell he cares about doing a good job!

I was planning to contact manager about what I noticed/experienced today (8/6/23). Then I went to the website and read comments. I also noticed/experience a cashier that might need diversity training as mentioned by others. I was behind a white gentleman. Cashier asked if he had a store card to be scanned. He did, and now it's my turn. Cashier never asked me for my card, and I reminded the cashier I had a card. Transaction went through and I moved along. 2 white ladies were behind me, and the cashier asked them if they had a store card, and behind them was another person of color, so I waited to see if the cashier asked this person if person had a card. She didn't ask. Problem with this is, if this is what this cashier does, people of color are not getting the store discount when applicable. Sometimes I just forget to display my card when I'm in the store, and I appreciate cashiers asking. This needs to be corrected so everyone has the opportunity to get the store discount.

One of the hardest pharmacy’s to get in touch with. Never actually reach someone when you call, and then you’re at their mercy. Shouldn’t have to make a whole trip to martins to be able to speak to someone about your medications.

This place is no longer welcoming. Some of the people here are really bad. The Discrimatory behavior is without grounds or reasoning, fluff and no substance. But it's okay they can hide behind a smile and feint ignorance and all is well and ends well, except for the perceived adversarial individual. Propagates the notion of children masquerading in adult form. I regret spending a substantial amount of my hard earned money on this place just for synthetic prejudice as my reward. I suggest going to Sam's club, you can disregard everything I just said above if you are the majority demographic in the town, why? It's not impossible but I propose the likelihood of you receiving similar treatment like myself is low, human's have a tendency to treat individuals that resemble themselves or there parents in favorable light. But I will not count on it.🤔

The amount of expired food that I get from here is ridiculous. This is the 3rd product in a short time frame. I got this on 10/9 when you had it as the 5 point. Well over a month past date. I have called the other 2 times with the other products. I don’t think I should have to check every item before I buy it. I’m done. Time for a new grocery store. This is the Hagerstown location by valley mall

Why is your establishment so insensitive to your black customers? Your employee was so insensitive to this family that was experiencing car trouble.Why was it so imperative they leave immediately? The officers you called on them never mentioned they were disorderly.This looks very bad on your establishment. They should have returned everything and took their money and business elsewhere.

Martin's has great produce and groceries, and they also carry Flashfood, which is an app that lets you buy half-priced groceries. You have to pay attention to the expiration dates and size, but it really is handy for a bargain shopper.

The customer service skills that are lacking at the customer service desk is unreal. Sometimes you will get someone who is pleasant and helpful and other times you will get people who barely want to talk to you. Please assign people at the customer service desk that actually has customer service skills.

Went to the Pharmacy for my flu shot. They were very nice, helpful with the brief required paperwork. Pharmacist was nice and the injection didn't hurt. I had no side effects from the vaccination and I'm pleased Martin's Pharmacy was able to provide it for me.

I love the pickup feature, it is so easy to use! My only complaint is that sometimes the item that's cancelled is crucial to something I planned on making for dinner that evening. I almost wish they'd text you or do a better job of actually trying to find an alternative! I've also noticed discrepancies with what's in/out of stock on the app vs what's in store (typically it says itt of stock on the app but I find it in store).Also! I love that this Martin's offers flashfood! If you haven't tried it yet, it's great for last-minute deals on food. I love farmer focus chicken and pick it up anytime I see it!

Lately we have had to look for all the coupons for double points so we can have gas points. It really helps at the gas pump. The store is in a really nice location. Easy access or walking distance .

When you first walk into the store you notice how spotless it looks. It's usually well stocked. That is with the exception of the wipes and cleaning products that are in short supply everywhere. The employees are friendly and very helpful. The prices that were high are coming down now.

4/26/2022 @3pm the young lady at register 8 gave my fiance and I a hard time and asked us to go to a different register. We did have 2 carts (paying separate for each), 1 cart for my fiancee's father since he is unable to shop for himself, and a cart for ourselves. She was finishing up the couple in front of us, there was also no one behind us. I found it extremely rude, and that she just didnt want to have to ring us up since we did have a substantial amount of groceries.I could never imagine working a job and telling a customer to go to another employee to be taken care of. We will literally never shop there again.

I have had no problems at this Martins location. They always have the fresh produce I need. Self-checkout seems to always be fast and efficient. Staff is quick to help when the machine doesn't recognize the weight of my crotons.

First...the employees, great people! Pricing is fair. Selection can be limited( brand names ) like most grocers store brands are dominating. Bakery is very good. Produce is hit and miss. Meat and seafood department's are pretty good. Deli i have not used.
