Front desk staff are always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We’ve been with Dr. Liberto and Lake Forest Animal Hospital for 11 years and have added a second dog with them. Over the years, they’ve accommodated emergency visits, made conservative recommendations for treatment, and I never felt like they were up selling tests or drugs.

Dr. Lamar has been our Samson's doctor (and more recently Hugo's as well) for the better part of a decade, and we could not be more pleased with the first-rate care she and the entire staff at Lake Forest has given our Bubba. We had a wonderful experience at Lake Forest Animal Hospital on Monday. We were able to get an appointment the same day we called and were taken back to an exam room very quickly after arrival! Our vet and vet tech were amazing with our cat, Shadow, and we couldn't have asked for better care when we were so worried about Shadow's health!!! The vet followed up with us the next day to share test results and was available to answer our questions about an upcoming surgery for him. We highly recommend Lake Forest Animal Hospital!

I recently moved to the area and my dog was due for some vaccines. My dog is very anxious in the car so with it lake forest animal hospital being within walking distance I took him there. It was the best interaction I have ever had at a vets office. The front desk staff is very friendly. The wait was not long at all. Once in the room we didn’t wait long at all either. Dr. Fu is very informative and my boy was loving all the attention. We will for sure being recommending and going back ourselves. Loki was a happy boy the whole time he was there and it was nice to be able to ask question and bring up concerns with out being offered pricey solutions. 10/10 recommend this vet office.

This is by far my favorite animal hospital, and I’ve lived all over the country! They are so kind to my pets, to me, to my family. Any time I call with a question, they’re responsive and knowledgeable and give me plenty of options. They make in-person visits joyful. They’re oh so compassionate. They’re also incredibly reasonably priced. Huge fan!!!

I love love love this place! Everyone is so kind and calm here, they get on the animals level and make it a comfortable space for them. And their pricing is extremely reasonable. I had to take my dog in for an emergency and they could’ve turned me away but they accommodated me to save me from the VRA’s wait time and expenses. I plan on taking my dog here now due to such an amazing experience. Thank you Lake Forest Animal Hospital!!

If I could leave 6-star review, I absolutely would. I am a very anxious person when it comes to my pets and had pretty traumatic experience few years in another veterinary. So when I got (unnecessarily, as it turned out) worried about my cat after a procedure, I called Lake Forest and they offered to see us immediately- even though it was 15 minutes before their close time. The doctor was kind, empathetic, knowledgeable and did all the tests necessary. I have experienced so much kindness from the doctor that I can definitely say that not only my cat, but also I was helped immensely. I do highly recommend this veterinary as all the staff - from receptionist to vet technician to doctors are wonderful.

Lake Forest is a great veterinary practice, and not only would I recommend them, but I have recommended them several times.. A small, privately owned practice with experienced doctors and staff. I take a very active role in my dog's health and care, and they respect that, and they allow me to be part of the process. They treat me with respect, and they treat my Chloe with care and kindness. They are level with me, when we're discussing care and treatment, The docs and staff are very practical in their approach, and they clearly care about their patients. When I moved to the area, an acquaintance from the dog park recommended them, and I'm so grateful for the recommendation, and I'm so happy to have found a vet practice here that I am comfortable with.

Well my name is angelo and I work for an airline and have lived in Texas ,Maryland ,Florida and North Carolina and have traveled with my dogs and cats to this hospital to see dr. Laberto.Now they have other great drs. As Laberto only picks the best for his facility. And I would like to say the techs are the best in practice. Specifically “Tony”who leads the pack. He's been there for about 20 years.And the management and other staff that makes sure you get the treatment you came for are also fantastic.Have you noticed I haven’t said anything about a bad visit ? (Exactly )I’ve been coming here since 1987 “37 years”If that doesn’t say it all I don’t know what else to tell you.If you truly love your animal you will bring it to the lake forest animal hospital.I hope I’ve helped all you animal lovers out there. We have three different dogs over the past 25 years and have used Lake Forest Animal Hospital exclusively. The facility is state of the art, neat, clean, and tidy. The staff members have always been pleasant and polite, and have always honored our time. The doctors are excellent and have earned our trust.

Great visit with my dog! Friendly and helpful staff, the doctor was on time and answered all my questions, I got an appointment within a couple days of calling, plenty of parking, and very reasonable prices. Very happy with the customer service I received - highly recommend!

Wonderful experience with Dr. Liberto and his staff. He was thorough in his exam and the pup took a liking to him! Wait time was a bit long, but I will count that as a one off since it was our first visit. Looking forward to building a relationship with this vet clinic and I know our dogs will be in great hands.

This place has taken care of many of my dogs throughout the year. They are exceptional! Recently we took our dog there who was very ill and i was beyond panicking. Dr. Strome and the vet techs that helped us really calmed us down and were caring and gentle with our dog. They really acknowledged our fear and sadness and helped to reassure us that our fur baby was going to be okay. And our dog loved Dr. Strome when usually he hates it there. I will always recommend this place to everyone i know!

After all the negative reviews I heard from people, I didn't believe them until I took my pets there. I loved the vet here but realized the business doesn't care about your pets. They have overcharged the day you show up for the vet appointment on multiple occasions. They want to make every excuse to make you spend money with them and, on top of that, charge you an arm and a leg for "not doing the vaccine on time." A staff member there gaslit me the entire appointment after finding out that I missed a vaccine and insinuated that I didn't care about my dog's wellbeing. So disappointing, and I will be looking for another vet.

All of the vets and vet techs are wonderful. My dog is very anxious and hides under the bench but he comes out tail wagging to see everyone who comes into the office. They take their time to answer any questions you have. Highly recommend this practice.

It was time for Ms Wiggles vaccinations and bath and pedi at the same time. The staff at Lake Forest Animal Hospital are always caring and accommodating. I would not take Ms Wiggles anywhere else. She gets excellent treatment and I know she will be well taken care of. The vet even called with a report on her overall health! I have used others but Lake Forest Animal Hospital is, by far, the best.

Lake Forest is our family vet. My last Jack Russell was a patient 17 years. My current poodle will be a patient forever. The staff is amazing and very professional. They treat us like family. The doctors are gentle and take good care of our pets.

I love bringing my elderly dog and new cat to Lake Forest. We used to live right down the road but we moved to 40 minutes away and I still bring my pets here. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and take their time to deal with fearful pets to make it a positive experience. My elderly dog hurt her back and had to go multiple times a week for treatment and every time she was met with kindness and patience. Aliah and Dr Liberto are our favorites but all of the vets and staff are great! The practice is clean, quiet, and modern. 10/10!

The office is spacious and clean, staff are professional and friendly and care provided for my pup is good. Wish the pricing was a little more discounted though, especially when I find myself taking my pet in for care often, seems like quarterly. Vaccinations and treatment charges are expensive. I was charged for having the tech show me how to properly apply a medication. If I knew there would be a charge ($22) I would have passed on the instruction and simply googled/YouTube or called a friend for free.

I love this place So much. I’ve been coming here since 2003. Just brought my 4th dog here for her first puppy exam. I moved from Gaithersburg to Virginia and still drive 45 mins to come here. The whole staff is kind and amazing and Dr. Liberto is the best vet in the DMV. He’s cared for and saved my dogs countless times. He is passionate about what he does and is very conservative in his work, he’s not about the money, he really just wants to give the best care possible. Cannot say enough good things about him and this place.
