It is ridiculous. I made an appointment for flu shot for myself and my husband at this store at 10:00 pm. We got CVS confirmation message and drove for 15 minutes to this CVS in 19100 Montgomery Village Ave, Gaithersburg MD20886. The pharmacist said we need to reschedule for tomorrow or another day. I was shocked. It was my second bad experience with this store and same pharmacist. The previous one happened last week when I took my son for his flu shot without appointment and same pharmacist said they do not offer any flu shot without appointments. My son asked if there is any appointment then we can get it tonight and she said no there is no appointment for tonight. We came back home and made an appointment for 10:00 pm in the same cvs store. We returned and my son got his flu shot!!. I am wondering how CVS offers this store for flu shot when the pharmacist can cancel the appointments easily.

This pharmacy needs more staffing and a few more competent people. I called in two prescriptions at 10 AM on 10/11. I was told it would be ready in an hour and I told them that’s fine but I wouldn’t be in to pick them up until 5 PM. When I went in at 5 PM…after waiting a half hour in line…I was told it wasn’t ready because it was 2 weeks old and they put it back on the shelf and that I’d have to come back later. I don’t recall being notified 2 weeks earlier but that shouldn’t have mattered because I called it in at 10 AM that morning. It was filled right then and there (thankfully) but that’s an unacceptable situation.

It seems that the Montgomery Village Pharmacy is recuperating from the onslaught of costumers and overwhelm created by the closing of the nearby store.The first two times I used their services it took an undue amount of time for my prescription. This time, it was prepared and ready to go when expected and I had no issues!Way to go!

Always Always Slow!! I Always leave in frustration and have to come back! THE LACK OF CASHIERS BUT YOU HAVE 3 REGISTERS VACANT! LONG LINES INSIDE /DRIVE THRU WITH 1 CASHIER INSIDE WITH 6 PEOPLE IN LINE AND STAFF MEMBERS BEHIND THE CASHIER LAUGHING AND CONVERSING AS IF THEY ARE BLIND TO THE EVER GROWING LINE!! MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE FIRED AS THIS IS A REFLECTION OF THEIR HORRIBLE LEADERSHIP! I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO BE IN OUT IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES!

Pathetic service. Waited over 30 minutes at the drive-through, and then they closed the counter to go for lunch. As if they can not take turns for lunch. Never using this pharmacy again

The pharmacy staff at Montgomery Village is always kind and treats me like a fellow human being not just another customer of many. I drive a bit out of my way but it’s worth it. I rarely go inside because the drive through is so efficient. If there is a backup I just come back later.

23:35… Not a 24 hour CVS apparently.Pulled up to the “24 Hour CVS” and then went to all three automatic doors, and they were all closed. 🤔 So I looked to see if there was anyone inside, and there was one lady in there from my sight, who started walking towards the front thinking she was going to unlock it, annnnnd she doesn’t. To later find out, she was going to the restocking cart by the door so I politely knocked on the door to grab her attention and she blatantly ignored me. When literally I was right there in front of the door. Usually I have no issues with this CVS and never gone in after 8pm but I guess this really isn’t a 24 hour CVS.Disappointment to say the least.

Despite being a well stocked and conveniently located CVS, picking up prescriptions here can be very frustrating especially if you are using the drive thru. It takes forever to get through the line no matter what time of day you go. It’s much faster to go inside to pick up medicine, however being in the middle of a pandemic makes this challenging and potentially dangerous. I wish that they would pay more attention to the drive thru.

It is unfortunate that this particular CVS is hindered by their success i.e. whenever I go, the lines to the pharmacy, as well to the two cashier's up front have long wait times, very long. Lines of people snake through the aisles, making it impossible at times to look at or get to the merchandise. The people waiting for the pharmacy were understandedly mostly less than pleasant if one needed to go through their lines, while others were sick and coughed and sneezed freely into the air others had to breathe. My daughter, who was standing in line to wait for my script, came down with a bad virus 2 or 3 days after a woman repeatedly coughed and sneezed directly in back of her, so forcefully that she felt the contaminated breath blow her coat or her hair. The point is, like other drugstores, CVS needs more cashiers, room,, and parking. They also might benefit from educational signs posted at the front door and throughout the store about hygiene and strategies for protecting others, all year but especially during cold and flu weather.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. With that said, the waits at the pharmacy for pickups is lengthy. I have been the first and only person in line for pickup and still waited over 20 minutes for medication that the store notified me was ready for pickup.

I always loved going to my CVS at Gaithersburg Square and getting to know Diane and the pharmacy group there. However, since I had an operation, I needed go to a Drive-Thru CVS, so I've been going to the CVS in Montgomery Village. I have to say the pharmacists here are also very helpful and so nice too. Really. This is a time kindness and good service is especially appreciated. People make the loyally. So thank you All!

My aunt has been seriously ill, after multiple follow-up with this pharmacy, my aunt had to rush to the hospital because the medication was not deliver in time. I am highly disappointed 😞.

I went for passport pictures and I was told the photographer comes at 6 pm so I went back at six to be told Oh he might come later and he might not come at all - wish they told me this first time I stopped - not vey friendly customer service

It is very bad attention people who are in the pharmacy the worst bad attitude slow are earning a salary for a job that they do not perform well I asked for a medicine it took 3 days to give it to me they told me tomorrow it will be and it turns out that when I arrive the next day the person will not I order medicine a Hispanic with a very bad attitude works with laziness the worst pharmacy
