Very nice well stocked store. They even sell items like "not chip Beef " but dried beef which is now subsituted for using for chip beef.

Better quality, produce, and selection than Save-a-lot, but at much higher prices. They're not as good as Martin's just down the road in Lavale, at about the same price.

Not enough help in regular check out. There was a problem in line 3, all the while I would assume a supervisor was really trying to fix the problem , the girl that was a cashier was on her cell phone texting. I put my items on the shelf and left. Oh and there was 3 people in front of me plus people in back of me. I have numerous time been at deli and waited to be served and you have 3 or 4 people standing in back of the counter wondering whose going to wait on the customer, one older man was complaining all the when waiting on me. There was one time I even left.

They have maps of new layout but they are not displayed. Had to ask for 1 and they were back behind the desk that's not accessible to customers. there was one card available in the store. two people were standing at the self-checking counters. I addressed the problem with those two workers. The response was " our cart retriever called off today ". REALLY !!!!

Nearly no customer service at this market. All but 1 check-out is self check-out. Really aggravating.In response to my review, an unnamed owner directed me to their customer service center which I called during advertised business hours. There is no one there to take calls but I will get a call back. I will leave an update when I receive that call back.I received a call from a Weis customer service representative. I told her that the owner informed me that she could take care of my issue. I presented the issue of having only 1 checkout that is manned by a Weis employee. Of course the lack of staffing has driven the loss of the customer service at the checkouts although when there is staffing those belted checkouts should be manned by employees and not as customer self checkouts. I let her know that I asked an employee why there was a loss of help at the checkouts and I was told that it was mandated by corporate to have only 1 employee operated checkout and doing otherwise would lead to unpleasant consequences for the store. The customer service representative said that is untrue. Those checks should be manned by employees when there is staffing. I let her know that although all checkouts except 1 are set up as customer self checkouts the proper equipment for self checkout is not provided. I have found no checkout having the hand scanning gun for large items and I have had to run a 35 pack of 16.9oz water bottles through the scanning device which is near impossible. I also brought to her attention that the elderly have a difficult time checking themselves out or standing in a long line at the 1 manned checkout. I was told by the representative that she would make it known to the management of the Frostburg store that corporate did not mandate only 1 employee operated checkout. I will watch to see what happens.

I like this store, I really do. The prices are a bit high, but sometimes you have to pay a little more for the convenience. I’m leaving a two star review (it was almost one star!) for one reason, the lack of cashiers working. I do not like using self checkout and feel like I’m being forced to do their job. When I was in there yesterday they only had one cashier and it had quite a few people with full buggies. So my options were to either wait 20min in line or use a self checkout. I was in a hurry so I reluctantly used self checkout. The bags kept sticking together and it was quite frustrating. I feel like self checkout should be an added convenience for customers to use, but companies are just taking advantage of this and using it as a way to hire less people. Not caring about the inconvenience that you are cause your customers is not a good business practice. Oh well, Marin’s in Lavale always have plenty of cashiers. Guess I’ll be going there from now on.

Horrible staff. Truly. My mother made a trip to this Weis in today’s unfortunate weather, because she HAD to. She was already nervous about driving in this weather. She made it to her local Weis (Frostburg,) only to be verbally attacked by a small group of employees, two of which were verbally harassing her for simply EXISTING. I’ll never return.

The young lady who checked me out wasn't very good at her job she put my hot dog rolls in with heavier groceries. Seem she more interested in getting back to talking to two other employees she was talking to when I walked up to her line. The store was not busy.

Bought some beef on sale. Pleasant cashier. Wipes at front of store for buggies.This time I bought some great looking romaine lettuce, a loaf of French bread, and Creme Brulee creamer. 10:30am and not busy. Used self checkout.

I love Weis Markets. When they replaced Food Lion I was sad but now they are my favorite grocery store. The people working there are very nice and friendly. The fresh veggies are fantastic. Nothing limp and creepy here, unlike another store nearby ...I get more for less at Weis. I wish they stocked the 3 items I need due to my food allergy. They used to, but don't any longer.

I used the self check out for the first time and the employee we're so very helpful. I left an item on the cacarecel and the brought it in the snow out to my car for me and told me to be safe as it was snowing and told me to have a nice day.

The employees are rude and super unprofessional. One kid had a clean up in isle 4 and he cursed the whole time. I stood at the deli counter for 7 minutes, while an employee washed dishes she fully saw me standing there. The deli was closed, I didn't know. Instead of telling me it was closed she allowed me to stand there. This is the third time I have had to go there since the switched from food lion amd every time the staff has been like this.

I like the fact it is not walmart. The prices seem to be a little more than other places in the area. As of recent they added more self checkout lines so if that is not your thing perpare to wait.

I gave them a 3 for pleasant, friendly customer service and overall general aesthetic. One of the most organized stores around, if not THE most organized. However, i dont think an over abundance of people go there, so it is probably easier to keep tidy. BUUUUTTTTTTT those prices!? Let me tell you that they are the most expensive in the area. There are several places to find cheaper items. However, i did notice some pretty good sales on random items. So if something i liked was on sale, i would go get a few. But for complete grocery shopping.....I personally wouldn't. Unless you have money to throw away.

Awesome customer service.. I had asked a young man employee there as to where was the Men's Restroom & he was very very polite and courteous too. Best place to go grocery shopping; for real. I give you all at Weiss Supermarket 2 thumbs up. 🤗👍🏾👍🏾

Should have more cashier working why should I work for free doing a cashier's job just so I can get out of there faster I can't work anybody for free and get by with it they don't reduce my bill for doing a cashier's job getting out faster is not a reward it should be mandatory stop being so cheap hire more people.

Only one check out counter open. When asked to open another we were told there wasnt anyone else there to help. There were 2 managers helping people at the self check out counters. There were 5 of us in line behind a woman who had two large carts filled with groceries. I was ready to leave my groceries in the cart and leave, and another clerk came to open another counter. This is the first and last time I wait

Store is great self check out needs replaced had to have service come to the check out I was out 10 times for time outs and bag issues. You just need to bring cashers back and stop being cheep.

Really like this grocery store but was very disappointed to see staff wearing their masks incorrectly or not at all. Masks are supposed to cover the nose and mouth and many of the staff had their masks sitting below their nose. I appreciate that they are uncomfortable, but in the interest of public safety, all staff members should be required to wear masks appropriately.

No cashiers at all. Only self check outs. Unless you like standing in line go somewhere else. Prices have skyrocketed over the past couple months. My suggestion would be to put a waiting room in at the checkout area.

Has a lot of products, but prices can be high. Good for a shopping emergency or local need though. Also, they accept EBT but not for some products that normally should be accepted. They also have a quick DVD booth outside, deli inside.

Overall, good visit. There at 9:15, minimal bananas and strawberries. Help very friendly. Do not like self checkout. Not helpful for large orders. Checked out at 9:52. Only one manned checkout line. John was cashier. He deserves an "Atta Boy". Only one at time, moving people through, "Great Attitude". Getting back to self checkout, I can go to Walmart if I want no service. Service is why I continue to shop at Weis..
