I use to enjoy shopping here , however as of tonight I’ll never shop here again!! I did an online mobile pick up and the order was 2 hours late 9:45 pm , missing MANY ITEMS and I was up charged for items that I did not approve due to lack of time management and organization apparently!! Then I proceeded to speak with “ MANAGEMENT “ I get smart idiots with sassy mouths , Instead of being apologetic and quick to fix the issues they caused! I’m so angry because I’m on a budget, I use coupons religiously and my rewards! So happens that I was looking to save 78$ on this particular order and it goes completely wrong! I tried to be nice however they were totally rude , tired and ready to get off I guess . But just know they don’t give a damn about their loyal and local customers period ! They have truly fallen off ! Shame on you Safeway ! What customer service?!!Updated refund for missing items was rewarded.

We did a mobile grocery pick up, and the employee who brought our groceries out wasn’t very friendly and proceeded to toss bags of groceries into the backseat without care and cursing when he’d drop something on the floor of my truck or on the ground of the parking lot. After the third bag of groceries he threw I got out and unloaded the rest of the cart myself. This was my first and last time using Safeway for mobile pick up.

Love shopping at Safeway. Sergio is a breath of fresh air when on register. Make sure you give him a raise because he definitely deserves it

Would have given more stars except they're always out of the bread that I like. Literally everytime I'm there lately its gone. The rustic artisan baguettes are the best around, but please stock more. I try to pick a couple up for dinner a few times a week. I really hope that you will stock more.

Nice clean store good lay out has a pharmacy and a Starbucks has everything you need and some. Would recommend never busy really helpful staff and good location also has a gas station.

What happened to the candy aisle? I guess we have outlawed most candy except for the kids to grab at checkout. Typical Safeway, nothing special was looking for a dinner option because I was visiting but unless it was a sandwich or sushi. Nothing jumped into my basket.

Never any cashiers. Lines build and no one cares. Shelves aren’t consistently stocked. I’m sure the excuse is we can’t find people to work but I know they have turned down college students work on their masters saying they are over qualified. Or just use the self checkout it only fits 3 bags then it goes into alarm and no one is there to reset it.

Very nice store for my first time in about 17 years. I just came back from Maine, where I frequented Shaw's Markets. Safeway and Shaw's are owned by the same entity, so my rewards number worked! I'm a happy shopper!

As an original employee when this store opened (Dec 1970) very disappointed in how it is currently being run. 1 register non self help out of 8 open, with customers at least 5 deep will full baskets, no one at the service desk. IMHO, customer service has gone out the window & is reflected in the employees. Not a smile, not a hello, not a thank you.

This place is hit or miss… Organic produce selection is a tossup… Sometimes good sometimes bad almost always priced on the high side. Over Three bucks for three small bulbs of organic garlic is around twice as much as you will pay elsewhere. The biggest problem I have is that they do not do a good job managing the expiration dates on their perishable items… Even their canned goods can be expired by months and months. So expired items sit on the shelves and they don’t order new… They also do a very poor job of keeping high demand items in stock. They are frequently out of some staples that they should not be out of. All in all it’s not a great store despite having friendly staff… Or at least most of the staff is friendly. Some are a bit surly but it is what it is. The giant across the street is not any better. I’d give my right arm for a Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods in the area. In the bathroom smells like they mop the floor with toilet water full of urine.

at register 8, there was this young fella named billy. he was super polite and helped me with some questions i’ve been dying to ask. Extremely efficient in getting the job done and does it with a smile in his face. does anybody know if he is single? he also helped me pick out sexual pleasure products for my significant other and they worked out perfectly! thanks billy <3meet me at the bathroom after second btw

One of the worst shopping experiences ever. I stopped by there around 4 pm to pick up two items. I ended up waiting in line for 15 minutes! Why won’t the store open express lanes!? I asked a store employee by the name of Fefe if they were going to open more lines. She just glared at me and walked away without saying a word.After I finally checked out, I stopped by the customer service desk, but SHOCKER, nobody was there.I’ll do anything to not go there again.

OK so if you bought snow crab legs today before 5 PM February 27 you might want to double check we just bought a bad 2 pounds. But I personally don’t hold it against Safeway Safeway is a great grocery store and I will continue to use them just double check your seafood

Great until we had to checkout. The self check out machines are too sensitive and STILL require a live human to assist with check out. Also, a 5gallon refill option is absent from the WATER selections, its bothersome and the selfcheckout becomes tempermental. I'd shop more often except for this single factor.

This place's pharmacy is terrible.As a walk-in... the pharmacist assistant gave me check in paperwork, she told me to go back and fill it and someone would come get it. 30 minutes later, nobody came. So, I made an appointment on line for the same time.As an appointment... I went to the front to tell them I had an appointment and she (same assistant) got mad at me because their system lost the form. When I offered her the email confirmation for the form she said it didn't matter and that I would have to do it all again... just like I was a walk-in.

I had to take back meats several times, they don't pull the bad ones off the shelves fast enough, its very inconvenient but I got my money back without a problem. The stinch from the seafood/ meat department is getting worse, i don't buy meats from them anymore. I do enjoy a cup of Starbucks while shopping for other things, tho.

Ever since Albertsons bought the chain several years ago service has gone down hill dramatically. There are never enough registers open. Lines going down the aisles. It's ridiculous. In addition their variety has decreased. Unfortunately we're stuck with limited stores in the county

Clean store. Missing some items that show up on the app saying the store has them, but they dont. Staff lately has been not the best. One cashier is condescending and extremely rude and others avoid customers entirely.

Overpriced for what you get, terrible selection. I swear I always end up spending so much money here no matter what I get. Safeway charges way more than say Giant or sometimes even Harris Teeter and at least at Harris Teeter you are getting a wider selection and better selection frankly. My wife and I hate shopping here but unfortunately in our town that’s pretty much the only place to go. We literally drive 30 minutes to the next other town to go to Aldi and Harris Teeter. Safeway needs to have more competitive pricing and ensure they are stocked, they are literally even out of popular chips half the time. Not to mention lack of organic meats and other things we can never find. We hate shopping here!!

Needed to place an order for donuts for a church event but was told to call or come back the next day because the clerk couldn't help . She said I would have to speak to someone who could tell me if they had the supplies for the 8 doz donuts.
