I absolutely love this garden center! It is definitely worth the two hour drive from Pennsylvania to Maryland to come here. They have a large selection of beautiful plants and I always find what I'm looking for here.

We've gotten our Christmas tree here the past two years. Amazing staff (like every single time/shift/day, they are amazing), they provide a super fun environment while choosing your tree, my son has a blast. Complimentary popcorn, hot cider, and hot coco. Also a big bonfire and a mailbox to Santa, and some play houses. Oh! And a giant version of "Connect Four" which was super fun! They're running a fantastic show over there.

Last year prices were very reasonable now you can go to home depot and get the same plant for less. I went and looked at roses and meadows was extremely expensive were home depot for the same one was cheaper in price. So no more meadows

My daughter and I went to Meadows Farms for our vegetable plants for the garden. This place has it all. Vegetables, fruits, flowers, trees. You name it, they had it. Everything was healthy. The staff seemed that it was family oriented. Not sure if they were actually family. I noticed that they had a free plant your own tomato plant for kids that was for mothers day. They also had a charter board with a hole for kids to peep though to take a picture. I felt they put care to include children in the experience. There was lots of pull carts available to use. Staff walked around to make sure you got what you needed. I saw bird baths and stone benches. Flags and lawn orniments. They also help load into your car. I am sorry I was I could have taken more pictures. There is so much. I really enjoyed this place. I totally recommend it to all my family. *****

I needed last minute poinsettias on Christmas Eve and hit the jackpot at Meadows! Thank you to everyone working that day that brought out the ones in the best shape and offered me a great bargain! My house was so festive! Thank you!

I love this center. Amazing selection, friendly staff and plenty of space to keep socially distant while perusing the many displays. I wish all garden centers had the care that’s been put into Meadows Farms. Thank you for continuing to be here to the community!!

If your having them deliver be sure to pick out your own item. If you dont they will send the left over junk.Beware if you have them plant anything for you. Their work is not guaranteed!I had them plant several things for me in the spring and four of the 8 thing they planted died. Though the plants are guaranteed the labor to replace is not.I dug up the dead plants and discovered that all of the plants that died had been buried 5" over the top of the root balls causing them to die!

Great place with wide selection, we bought our Japanese maples there and visit for decorative additions throughout the year. Love the pick up truck as a giant planter. Anyway, I wish the parking and drive to the pick up area was smoother, it has many dips and bumps and can use a coat of finer gravel to even it out - but that’s just me! 😬

It’s a local nursery so has that small and quaint vibe. Products are responsibly chosen and aren’t loaded up with mystery additives like you’d find at a big box store. Cute decorations and lots of plants to choose from throughout the seasons.

They have great plants and I have patronized them frequently. However, I am still somewhat bitter about the experience having them landscape my property. First of all, it was a crew of day-laborers that showed up for the installation. After they left, I noticed that most of the shrubs had their root-balls set on top of the ground with mounded up mulch. I had to replant most of them. Also, the planting is getting too large for the space. I need to replace some of the shrubs with more compact varieties. All I want is a planting that is attractive and that requires minimal care.And...as a side note...don't buy their shredded mulch. After you put it down, you will be pulling up weeds like crazy. Chip drop may be a better option.

This month I spent $1,600 at Meadow Farms. I even paid for a delivery. When they delivered my plants to me four days later they were dried out and desiccated. It was absolutely shameful. I have the shots of the pictures I took when they were purchased in the pictures when they arrive. Do not go to this place! Go to sun nurseries! Meadow Farms you should be ashamed.

Don't overlook this local farm and nursery! There is plenty of parking and plenty of friendly folk to help you find what you need. Oh, there were plenty of plants to be had as well and the prices were very competitive.First impressions: As soon as we parked we saw an employee carrying a bag of mulch to a customer's car and we knew that this place is about the plants AND the customers. Excellent customer service. we saw a sign "Pic & Plant" that described how Meadows Farms will HELP YOU get things in the ground just the way you want. Those big box stores don't offer that. Trees and shrubs that they install have a lifetime warranty as well which is a great way to protect that landscaping investment.The selection of plants and flowers and garden accessories and fertilizer and so-on is as big as anywhere else. There is a great looking kids area complete with a big box of chalk, a chalkboard, and a bunch of toys and activities and it is located right in the plant area so you can keep an eye on the little ones as they play.Overall, a good bargain, excellent service and a nice location that is not in a crowded parking lot. Located just off of I70 on the north side of Frederick. We'll be coming back!

I just left here hoping to buy a butterfly bush for my mom for Mother’s Day. I called ahead to make sure they had them in stock. I was told they did so when I arrived after looking for one in the rain with my toddler for about 10 mins I decided to ask for help. There was about 5 or 6 employees sitting inside. Which I get because it was raining out. One young gentleman confirmed in their computer system that they had some butterfly bushes still in stock. He directed me on where to go. I’m not sure what happened to costumer service these days, but when you have 5 employees sitting around and a costumer walks in with a toddler in her arms and it’s pouring down rain the nice thing one of these employees could have done was to walk outside with me and help me carry the 3 gallon butterfly bush inside to pay for and then help assist me with it to my car. Instead I got excellent directions on how to get it myself while carrying my toddler in the rain. Unreal! Needless to say I left without a butterfly bush. I will find one somewhere else with better customer service.

I took my mother to Meadows Farms to see about getting a replacement boxwood. They are currently having their end of season sale. Well, mom got a very good price on that boxwood and then she found an awesome split leaf philodendron at an even more incredible price. And then, are you ready, it was 50% off! So, there was one very happy person today. The girl there was so nice and helpful. We go to Meadow Farms at least once a year and always find something.

I had a rep from meadows farms, 2 months ago. I paid for a consult. I texted them to see when id get my drawing. They finally texted me back with an image of nothing we spike about. I guess he forgot what I said. It was 2 months prior for consult. It felt like the rep didn't want to b there. Just took measurements..wanted to inquire about my front yard, but he was too busy. Be careful with this one...

Don't like Meadow Farms business practices. I bought 3 trees in 2021 one of them died do to small root base. I returned the tree ASAP and was told no refunds. The store clerk took my recipe kept it and told me the tree wold be on my account and I could pick up a new tree in the spring. I went to pick up my tree today/2022 and was told I have credit for last year but it will cost ypu $55 more for the same tree. I said why, you wouldn't give me refund last year and your could replace the tree last year. It is store policy you have a $95 dollars credit but this year the tree cost more. Don't think I will be doing business there again.

Meadows is our go to for mulch and a lot of other things. We really love the river rock we got for around our hot tub. Their delivery drivers do a great job delivering what you ordered.
