My babies are boarding at Greenbriar Resort, and the staff is so polite and thorough. Rachel was so patient getting my records. The front desk staff displays professionalism, and the kennel team was helpful (I have three dogs). I can use all the help. Thank you all for caring for them. I will definitely be back.

We gave seen that this Vet has gone downhill and today experienced the same. After my wife schedan appointment we got off work early to get the boys over there only to be told we did not have an appointment even though we tasked to them over the phone, unfortunately my wife could not remember who she talked to. But after other mishaps and just ignorant staff we said enough is enough and canceled our insurance with them. What I found funny and goes with some 1 star people on this review site is we talked to the supposedly "front desk manager" lol and nothing to try and rectify the situation and not talking money just anything.. squeeze us in, reschedule etc. Nope just ok glad to lose two pet plans (insurance) and customers. Great business model. Don't take your pets there!

We have been using Greenbriar Pet Resort for doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming since 2020 and have always had great service, and our dogs, Happy and Graci LOVE going there! The staff is always friendly and makes us feel like our dogs are the "cream of the crop." I would recommend them to anyone that wants to keep their dogs happy and socialized.

So happy I found this place! My pup started puppy day camp at 11 weeks old and graduated to doggie day camp. She is so well socialized with dogs and humans. We also did training: Basic 1 & Basic 2 and learned so much! There is also a huge dog park on site where we play fetch after day camp. We love this place and couldn’t recommend it more.

A big shout out and thank you to Greenbriar for being there on our exciting journey. I don't know what I would have done without the amazing staff who is our 2nd family now! You have helped us get through really hard times and all the really exciting awesome times! Cal is the best trainer ever! Breeze graduates from her 2nd phase of training in a few days! He has taught us so much and supported us through it all!! I highly recommend his thought out well educated training for any dog! We will start phase 3 of our training soon. Breeze and I won't stop! The more we learn and work on the better we are after working with Cal! THANK YOU

My german shepherd and beagle/shepherd have been going to Greenbriar since there were puppies. They were trained there and spent many days in day camp. The management has changed and a huge turnover of employees. I have seen this place when it was top notch to what it is today. There is no communication between the day camp/boarding to the front desk. There have been several times I am told something about visiting day camp and then when I get there they tell me I need a shot or doctors note, blah blah. My vet had sent them to them several times. But no one communicates. Not to mention from x employees the conditions the dogs stay in when they board. After 9 years we are done with this place. If you love your dogs, Please don't take your dogs there.

The staff at Greenbriar took such good care of our puppy while we were abroad. They knew her by name, didn't mind that I called every few days to check on her, and posted the cutest pictures of her. When we picked her up, they gave us a report card so we could know how she did at day care. I'm so glad we found such a great boarding facility for our pup! Thanks to the loving staff!

After a two-week "hotel stay" (we were on a trip), we got our dog back wrapped in a blanket with quite bad bedsores. He was traumatized and neglected. (On the positive side, he was treated for his infection and constipation. This was also communicated to us.) But overall, he was in a miserable shape when we got him back. In conclusion, he was definitely not mistreated or anything. Not totally ignored either. But clearly not "cared for" either. Totally unacceptable for a veterinary hospital.

We board our pup here and they always make the experience as painless and smooth as possible. I love that they handle all needed testing and vaccination on premises! If I had one suggestion, I really wish that they would implement a service to get a daily report or pics of our dog while boarded.

We have trusted the wonderful people at Greenbriar with the caring of our two dogs for many years now. The entire team puts love and compassion into every bit of their operations whether it is the pet resort, day camp, boarding, training or veterinary services. We are especially thankful for Lauren, the Resort Manager, who has a way with dogs that is truly special and is incredible in every sense of the word. Our dogs love coming here, with tails wag and whines of excitement when we get within a few miles of the facility. There is no better feeling than knowing you can fully trust someone with your dogs when you are not around, and that your dogs are having a great time. We would not trade our experience (and our dogs experience) for any other place, and are more than happy to drive an hour to get here for day camp or boarding anytime!

I am so incredibly thankful for Cal and Jaclyn in the training department. They met me with empathy and understanding when I was at my wits end with some of my 7yr old dog's new and unwanted behaviors. I went into this with some dog training experience and a lot of frustration. Without being condescending or patronizing, they met me as a team to help me remember how much I love my dog. He isn't perfect but we're making such incredible improvements every day.Today, we could watch TV with dogs on it without barking and subsequent tears.Thanks Cal!

I have boarded my dog here for years. This past time I boarded her for my wedding in September. Two days ago I got a call saying that they still had her on their board and that she was checked in. They needed to confirm the card on file which is fine. Amongst the wedding craziness I didn’t even realize my card wasn’t charged. HOWEVER, if she has been checked in and on the board for two and a half months, how did no one know she wasn’t there sooner? Who has been feeding and walking the random dog listed on their board? This makes me feel very uncomfortable bringing her there again if the staff didn’t notice until December that she wasn’t there. A new boarding facility is definitely in my future.

Love Greenbriar Pet Resort! We had a bad experience at a prior dog daycare and were a little nervous about bringing our boy. They were very reassuring and positive about all of our questions! They are extremely accommodating and really try to make every pets stay the best it can be. Our pup loves coming here for boarding and day camp! For grooming Debra is the best! Our boy was nervous during his first grooming and she went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable time for him! So excited to have a place like this so close!

GPR is the best! I just read a review about thier outrageous prices and quite frankly, our experience has been the exact opposite? And, as a matter of fact, when we picked up our pooch (Rock) following his last stay, we were refunded an entire day based on the time that we arrived, how great was that! I know that there will always be people that will complain, nit pick, bash, etc. ... but our experiences have been nothing less than superb! Our pooch isnt the friendliest, but he has grown to feel comfortable with the staff, and they are more comfortable with him. I would recommend GPR to anyone! They send reminders, they will work with you to find the best possible solution for you and your loved one(s). And they have offered numerous discounts, all without asking!For our family, the cost is not an issue, when I know that our pooch is being well taken care of. And, in comparison to other facilities that offer boarding, their prices are very competitive for the level of cleanliness (the facility is spotless all of the time .... immaculate) and care that you receive.Lastly, the staff, from the front desk, to those persons that manage those that board are outstanding! Everyone is ALWAYS super pleasant, knowledable and helpful.

I’ve been bringing my cat to Greenbriar for roughly three years, and before my dog passed, I brought her here for six years. The staff and management are absolutely incredible and accommodating. The scheduling process for boarding is easy, but thorough, which puts anxious pet owners at ease.Unfortunately, my cat is aggressive but they never have any issues with him and they always handle everything perfectly. He actually LOVES coming here which makes keeping him there that much more reassuring. My dog also really enjoyed going to GB and was always given extra love and attention anytime she went in.The management at Greenbriar and every single staff member are overwhelmingly considerate, friendly, and professional.If you want top of the line care for your pets, I would definitely take them to Greenbriar!

I will never bring my dog back here. There was not a single interaction where we got accurate information over the phone unless we were talking directly to the vet.We got a new puppy and wanted to try this company for all their services. Every single time we called and talked to them when we were not talking to the vet we received the wrong information. This included vaccine schedules, boarding, day camp, training/puppy preschool.The trainer is very good, handled our puppy for exposure and basic training well. The vet is awesome, she worked with us through a very small dog modified vaccine schedule. If it weren’t for their front desk/phone and inability to provide accurate information I would be fine.

We had been bringing our dogs to Greenbrier for some time but we have made the decision to move our two dogs and one cat to a different vet. Not so much the actual veterinarian interaction but some of the other staff. Most recently we started a new rescue puppy atGreenbrier and had called for an emergency foot problem with our new puppy. We got scheduled two day later (not ideal for an emergency issue) and then after running about 10 minutes late due to highway traffic, the front desk person (Kim) said we'd have to reschedule. We can somewhat understand it's a production line vet in terms of getting pets in and out. However, we'd be more understand if every time that we show up on time we didn't have to wait 15-20 minutes before that see our dog.

Wonderful team. Professional, personable and customer oriented.We had a billing discrepancy during boarding that resulted in a significant overcharge to our total. The discrepancy was due to a paperwork mixup- their available services have recently changed. Very happy with the result and how the team handled our issue.Also, despite only boarding a few times a year, multiple staff continue to recognize our pup, and comment on how much they enjoy having her stay. It’s nice to know they enjoy her as much as we do!

We were impressed with Greenbriar from the moment we drove up and took a tour 2 years ago. Our two dogs have enjoyed day camp, boarding, group play, and the underwater swim sessions. They’ve been beautifully groomed twice. Writing this review now, because I wanted to share how pleased we were with the board & train program and especially working with Phil. He is exactly what we were looking for - someone equally skilled training dogs and humans! He was very professional, energetic, and encouraging. Not only have our dogs improved their behavior, but we feel empowered with new methods to interact with them in the most constructive way. It's clear Phil is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but he articulated the information is such a way that it was easy to understand and get excited about. His instructions and feedback were always positive, consistent, and clear. Most of all, we are thrilled with how much our dogs love him! There is no better proof of the care and attention he gave them during their 2 week stay - the longest time we have ever spent away from them. We can't thank the staff enough and look forward to continuing the fun with the unlimited classes. We have recommended Greenbriar to many, including a family who had to board their dog for an extended stay during a move, and all have been blown away. They are constantly making enhancements to the grounds and services. Do not hesitate to come here!

Our pup had a great experience and the kennel and grooming. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We took a tour before booking and I was impressed with how well kept everything was and it was apparent how much the staff cared for the animals.This was our dogs first time boarding and he appeared to have enjoyed himself. The groomer called before she started with him to ask about how we liked him groomed and offered for us to bring him in the following day if it wasn't as we expected.My only complaint is I wish I had been given some sort of feedback about his stay when I picked him up. I understand the gentleman at the front desk didn't necessarily take care of him but a simple "Oh, he loved playing fetch during playtime" would have been better than "They would have called you with a problem."FYI- When you book online, the deposit is ONLY for the actual kennel. If you add any extras (like playtime/ snuggle time) that will not be reflected in the deposit. Maybe it's on the website but I missed it.

They are kind, caring, sweet, professional and my puppies return happy, I don’t know if there’s anything better I could say! NOTE: none of the staff mentioned in this original post do NOT WORK HERE NOW. The staff at Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital and Luxury Pet Resort is without a doubt professional, courteous, and skilled. I came in with goals for my personal dog, and sat down with trainers Phil and Caroline to discuss it. They listened to everything I had to say, gave great feedback, and pointed me in the right direction for training I needed to accomplish these goals. Phil makes the class such a positive experience for both owners and pets. All of the trainers know exactly what they are doing and very easy to talk to. I have also taken my dog to rehab swim-time with Erin just for fun. She is just as knowledgeable in her field as well as friendly. She has helped me find my dog's greatest strength in the tank for him to make it fun as well as good exercise. My dog enjoys going here so much whenever I say "swim-time" he perks up very excited. Will continue to use this facility as long as I am in the area.

I cannot say enough about Greenbriar and their Team ! I have a 1 year old Husky, Luna, who is scared of most people. Luna attends day camp usually once a week and practically pulls me through the door because she is so excited. She loves the staff and has a fit waiting for them! I know when I leave her there that she is loved and cared for just as much as she is at home. We use Greenbriar for boarding, day camp and grooming. Once my contract is up with her current Vet, she will also be coming to Greenbriar for her Vet needs. For the quality of their service, their fees are very reasonable! I adore the staff and love going in the office myself! Everyone is so friendly and they take time to remember who you are, ever if you are referred to as Luna's Mom! They also make sure they are thorough when explaining charges, offers, and any questions you have. Again, I just love this place!

A year ago Greenbriar was a 5 star experience. The staff was fantastic, I brought my pup to daycare 4-5 days a week for about 7-8 months or so, purchasing the packages at $150. He had a blast with the other dogs and staff and it was great for socialization so the hundreds of dollars spent were worth it. One morning, without any prior notice, I was informed that it was to be the last day Argo would be allowed to come to daycare until he was neutered. I was distressed by this because my boyfriend and I work 10+ hours a day and depend on the daycare. We obviously didn’t have anything set up for him (dog walker, etc.) for the rest of the week or just going forward in general. I had informed them much prior that I was not planning on neutering him until about a year old. We requested that Argo be allowed to come to daycare for the rest of the week until we could sort out what to do with him during the day and so that we could use up the remainder of the package we had already paid for (because no one told us he wouldn’t be allowed to come anymore otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased a package). They gave us a flat no AND refused to refund the remainder of the package. I then wrote a letter to the head of customer service about the situation and how disappointed I was by the experience. I never got a reply and now I am unable to even get a call back for a couple remaining strings I am trying to cut with them so that we can find a new office. There does not seem to be a good line of communication to the head of customer service as I have read similar reviews from other people.
