We will never go anywhere but Pleasantville. All of the doctors are wonderful, especially Dr Scott. He has the ability to talk a worried Jack Russell mom off the ledge. He is a true dog-whisperer. My boy never growls at him and LOVES coming to visit.

My cat broke her leg and all the other vets in the area couldn't handle the operation or were too expensive. PAH was able to do the operation and saved me a few thousand dollars. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and caring.

My family has been bringing our dogs to Pleasantville Animal Hospital of Fallston for many years now and we could not recommend them enough. They truly feel like a community veterinarian with every member of their staff engaged and caring for every animal that walks through their door. From the routine visit, the teeth cleaning for an older dog, emergency visit for a Frenchie - this team is always here to help care for our favorite family members. Highly recommend this team!

We have been going to Pleasantville Animal Hospital for a little over 1 year and they have been great. You can tell they really care and they are much more engaged than other vets we have used in the past. We really appreciate that the vets are present, great at listening, providing options, and want our dog to have the healthiest and happiest life possible. Thank you!

My kids bought me a cockatoo for Christmas that had a medical situation that needed Immediate Care. The team at Pleasantville Animal Hospital was so professional and works so hard to make sure that my bird was seen and the medical care she needed was received promptly. I have three other birds and if I have an issue with any of them I will be taking them to Pleasantville. I I'm so grateful for everything they did for Maui

We have been patients for over 16 years now. The entire team shows amazing compassion in rough times and total excitement in the best times. Most importantly, the care and time that the team takes to explain what is going on, give us options, and, of course, love on our fur babies is exceptional. We will only use Pleasantville for all out pets.

Always great. Reasonable prices. Calming ambiance and the “drop off and pick up” helps so I don’t have to wait when they need thorough examinations and intervention. The Veterinarians are kind , and provide great education during discharge. The techs clearly love animals and are gentle and show concern. The secretaries are pleasant as well.I’m a registered nurse in an emergency room so this means a lot to me. It’s worth the long drive. I’ve been coming for years. ❤️🐶

This incredible place is the most wonderful, compassionate vet I have ever visited in my 40 years. We brought in the sweetest chicken that we had raised during the pandemic and gave us so much love and joy (and tasty eggs!) and they gave her so much amazing care until the faithful end when we had to make the decision to euthanize her. From the very fair charges for her care to the sweet folks who always spoke to me with kindness and tenderness, they are all just the best! Dr Rebecca is a chicken genius! Then today, I received a sympathy card signed by all who worked there. I was so touched they went through this trouble just for a chicken that a boy really loved.Folks take your pets there, this is the perfect vet run by the most perfect people. I never thought I would want to move just to be closer to an amazing vet. Google should let you give one place every 10 years 10 stars because this place would get all 10 from me.Thank you Pleasantville Animal Hospital!

I have always loved bringing my fur baby to this office. They always take excellent care of my dog, they are well informed and up to date on new changes within the industry and most importantly create a space where my dog (and I) feel safe knowing he is getting the best care, love and belly rubs.

Not a place that CARES...1st, my pet did not have a correct treatment plan, a lot of valuable time was lost, pet suffered and at the end became mutilated because it was too late to safe a part of his body. He survived, thanks to another doctor that I had to go to 2 hours away. The other doctor prescribed a treatment plan, but Dr. Rebecca failed to follow it, wasting 2!!! weeks! I explained right away the the other vet warned that the meds are hard to get, she said no problem, we will get yhe. She ordersr wrong meds. We had to drive there to find that out. She promisse to order correct meds and wait another week. We come there a week later in hopes to finally start appropriate treatment only to find out she was not able to get them!!! Why didn't you call to let us know??? I would rather to drive 2 hour to the vet who was able to diagnose him and have the treatment done, but she just let the pet suffer! I ended up doing injections myself with approval of the other vet. Even though from our first experience i gathered that avian vet there has a basic knowledge at best, I was forced to call there again due to other places have worse reviews, no experience with peacock, or much further away that the pet would not make it. So here are my last 2 expwriences, that ended up with passing of my 2 pets: I called with an emergency with another pet, peacock...When dealing with sick bird, every second counts. They could not squeeze us in, he died on a day of an appointment that was few days later after the call. Called again with my parrot who had some kind of accident and needed urgent help. Receptionist told me to go elsewhere, they are busy, or make an appointment. I told her I am a client with a dying bird, he needs to be seen right now, with all this back and forth on the phone valuable time was lost. By the time I practically forced them to let us come, on the way there our parrot died in the hand of my 10 year old son, who was crying and screaming as his best friend was refused help...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BREAKiNG HIS HEART. No compassion, no care, the worst qualities in pet and human Healthcare.

I’ve been to a multitude of vet practices - it’s difficult to find a practice that is competent, empathetic, and reasonably-priced. The staff at Pleasantville are excellent at their jobs, genuinely care, and are reasonably-priced. I will be a lifelong customer.

I find this location has alot of experience with the handling of animals along with trustworthy care without the ridiculous prices other vets charge. They are reasonable and fair with the charges. I don’t get additional charges here that I ever have to question. Thank you for being such a reliable place that isn’t trying to make a fast buck.

The BEST for chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys. The Drs. and staff at Pleasantville are always wonderful. Dr. Rebecca is one of the best poultry/avian vets around and we are extraordinarily lucky to have her here in Maryland. I would take any of my animals to them, but especially my chickens!!

Dropped off our dog at Pleasantville Animal Hospital of Fallston knowing he would need stitches from a bite injury.Even though he’s never been here before, the prompt communication, excellent care, and the thorough explanation of the procedure, what to expect, and the treatment plan by Dr. Michael Gounaris and his staff were phenomenal. Highly recommend - Thank you for taking great care of our Chief!

We were able to our puppy seen promptly upon calling. The staff, techs, and vet were all very friendly, caring, and accommodating. We felt comfortable trusting PAH with the care of our puppy, in this emergent situation, even though it was our first time in.

From the first phone call the staff (Sarah) was very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. The ladies that took him back to trim his nails were excellent. He was very relaxed throughout the whole experience. The rooms were tidy and clean. Overall, good experience for Beau and my husband and I.

Awesome. I know time is money and there are a lot of practices who cram in as many patients as they can. I hope you always continue to have TIME for the owners questions. That’s what I like about your practice.Eddie

This family has helped my old boy in ways I thought were never possible. His Story:Back in June this year I adopted Parker. I was in the search for a senior springer to help soften the blow when Kovu passes (I've had him for 11yrs) which generally means I should get one a year or so younger if not the same age. I went on the ESRA and even though I was willing to drive there was no one available I could adopt. When I found Parker he was not officially apart of the ESRA site just yet.I suppose because he had so many issues(?) that the ESRA let me adopt Parker because they wouldn't let me adopt one in CT.Parker was a 12yr old obese dog(82lbs when he got in foster) that had a melon size mass on his side(I later on found out hes deaf), his former owner passed away and right before that was in hospice so Parker got neglected, a week after him and his owner moved to his daughters house from SC to IL he passed away and the daughter couldn't keep Parker. I decided that I could not turn down this poor baby so Kovu and I set off to Chicago! This boy was big!!!! He even lost 10lbs before I picked him up. Our journey was pretty easy, he was happy to do everything and copied Kovu/followed him everywhere. It's like he never got to be a "dog" in years. Over the summer he managed to drop 12lbs but we were still struggling with skin issues, ear problems and this mass. I went to two vets and he had gone to two vets in IL to get an idea for his skin and maybe the mass. Everyone said it would be to hard, to much money and to much for such an old boy. The Aberdeen vet said it was be $1400 just to look at what it is and more IF they could even remove it. Now at this point the mass hadn't grown but wasn't as "fluid" feeling as before and it was just weighing him down so much over the past months. I came across a video of a dog that had a 30lb mass removed in the same spot so I was DETERMIND to get it off. I was prepared to spend the money if it was going to be possible and that's when I found Pleasantville Animal Hospital. The first out of 5 vets that gave me hope. They not only removed the 4LBS! off his side but they helped me so so much during the healing process. Where the stitches were didn't make it easy to heal, there was an ER trip on a Sunday and CVS trips to buy more bandage because it would pop out(...right after the ER trip -_-) along with the 5-7 times I think that the vet changed it. Parker has been a trooper through it all, the mannnny days and nights he had to stay at the vet because I worked down the road but lived 45 mins away, the horrid day of waking up with blood pouring out of him from fluid build up and then running a fever, AND having to get used to me carrying him up and down three flights of steps 3-4 times a day(he wants me to now haha).Anyway after a month this boy finally healed ! He went from 84lbs to 56lbs and has become way more of a cuddly, happy, free from weight. I can't thank everyone at the animal hospital enough with how much they helped my old man <3The only thing left is finding something for his skin.!!!!!!!!!If your dog has a lump GO GET IT CHECKED!!!! Make sure if it's benign and not cancerous and if it grows nip it right in the butt and REMOVE it. I do not wish what Parker went through on any puppy!

Both our Great Dane and Shepherd are seen here with absolutely great care. Our shepherd, Bruno’s health issues make him go in pretty much monthly. We just recently moved here 6 mo ago and we already knew about his health issues prior. What we didn’t know is our old vet didn’t follow proper procedures and do the 2nd test to ensure Bruno really had Thyroid issues. When we switched to PAH they had explained to us this issue and allowed time for us to ensure with our old vet that it wasn’t done fully. PAH then carefully explained to us the game plan of weaning him off his meds and then retesting to guarantee he did have thyroid issues for a 3yo dog and it wasn’t a more serious issue. Since he would need meds for the rest of his life with thyroid issues. Thankfully it was nothing more serious than what we originally thought. After several months he has started back up his thyroid meds. He has had monthly visits with blood draws and each time they are very clear, transparent, and honest about what his treatment plan is moving forward and what they are doing now to manage it. Not only that but our boy can be timid because of his neglectful/abusive past and they always do a great job in catering to him. Our Great Dane, Theo loves it there and expects PAH to give him treats and lots of love/attention when he goes in for his general exams.

I have 2 pets that come to this Animal hospital. We have a dog and a bird (Bird is new and never needed an aviary vet before so it's convenient that they do that as well). All times I have needed to be seen or just for a check up, this vet has been awesome at getting us in very quickly. The receptionist has always been so professional. They take the pets inside from your car, check them out and do what ever else needs to be done and they bring them back out to you and talk to you about their health. They keep a credit card on file so you don't even have to send your payment in and they discuss the charges with you before they charge the card. It's like a drive thru for pet care! They really care about your pet. This is the best vet we have gone to so far! Thank you Pleasantville Animal Hospital and I am looking forward to being a loyal member of your vet family for many years to come!
