The employee Paula seems to think it’s okay to have personal conversations while customers wait for her to finish. Then when a customer she knows comes to the counter (that’s Paula one by name), she serves them first and continues to make me wait. So when I started to speak but saying excuse me, Paula tells me to “don’t do that, I can ring up two people at the same time”. She also commented that her boss was right in the office. Which I don’t think matters but I guess Barry thinks it’s okay. I didn’t mind to wait because it seemed like Paula was really enjoying her visit from a party employee with his daughter. But what wasn’t okay was there was no apology for my wait and I was met with a very rude tone and attitude as if my presence was bothering her. The customer that arrived after me also left before me because Paula completed her sale before mine. It sounds super petty but when I called the store to speak with the manager Barry, he didn’t even offer an apology either. It seems this Royal farms does not care unless you’re an every day customer. I do live in the area and come in 2-3 a week but you can believe I’ll take my patronage to WAWA!!! They know how to serve EVERY customer with respect.

I am new to the area but not to Royal Farms. I patronize Royal Farms all over Maryland area and have always enjoyed the chicken. This morning I went there and the manager "Randy" tried to serve me hard, clearly old chicken. I asked if there was more in the back and he said yes but he would not give me that chicken or wait 20 minutes -- suggesting that I had to pay full price for old chicken that is inedible. I wonder what the Health Department thinks of this. He was rude and I am sure that the owner of this store does not want to make money!!! The woman at the counter had to tell the manager "Brady" to go to the back as he was going back and forth with me "word for word". If I owned this store, I would fire Randy and find a manager who understands that the customer (especially repeat customer) is entitled to hot or fresh chicken! In the future, I will bypass this store (even if I have to drive 10 miles) and go to a different Royal Farms. I will never go there again! Do Not Go to this store!!!

1st I don't think they pay the employees at Royal Farm enough money....It's a job that most people cannot do or will do..... Just spend some time in a Royal farm and you'll see what I mean. This Royal farm at the time of my visit seem understaffed. Between making food, taking care of complaints,trying to check out customers and stock shelves in addition to keeping the store clean it almost seems like an almost impossible task. But this is just my opinion. I'm interested to see other honest reviews.

Here's another attempt on a chicken sandwich. The sandwich is not bad but here is what you get for $5. One sandwich was crusty hard and the other one was cooked correctly.

Check out clerks and managers were extremely helpful. The check out lady had exceptionally great energy, I notice it was the end of her shift too- which speaks volumes! She is a team player.I made a mistake while paying for gas with my gift card and I threw the card out prematurely (thinking it was empty).I was really hoping there was a tech solution to the problem so I asked the counter for help. After I insisted they help me via computer and pulling transaction records for a while- the manager was putting on a vest to GO outside and fish for my card in the trash for me. I of course did not let that happen, I got it myself.The simple fact that she was preparing to do that for me was beyond courteous and really was the extra mile.I applaud the team there. :,)

I am a local, and This Royal farms store is the worst managed I have ever dealt with in my life. Every time I go in there it takes me 15 minutes to get whatever it is that I need because the people that work there don't want to help you l. They say outright that they hate people, are arguing about other co-workers, they yell at each other very loudly, dealing with junkie customers, or thiefs and do not care at all whether or not your food is hot and ready. I will never use this place again. also any of the reviews that are five-star are people related to the workers there, guaranteed.

The wife loves their chicken.To be honest, I'm not a fan and would rather have a chicken pot pie from walmartBit she likes it and wants to make it family thing....I don't want to spoil it for her. But for me, the food is a waste of money. Usually, it's more bone than actual chicken

Since they reopened the staff have been rude and the store is dirty compared to other Royal Farms stores. It's also pretty telling that they had to put up a sign saying no backpacks or groups of kids; apparently they have problems with theft. They also regularly have people begging for money outside of the store.

They spent all that money to renovate this location and it’s a dump already. Both air hoses let’s air out of your tires instead of putting it in. No out of order signs on them. Over flowing trash cans. Piles of trash bags around the full trash cans. Stick to Wawa, I know they are farther but if we keep using the Wawa’s maybe it’ll put some of these hood Royal Farms out of business. Wawa is always clean inside and out and everything actually works. The employees are always pleasant at Wawa.

So I wouldn’t even give this store 1 star but you have to to leave a review. Ordered a 3piece meal w western fries - receipt timed 5:37. At 5:54 myself and 2 others are still waiting. Then the 1 and only person doing the chicken station says there are no more fries left. Goes on to make 2 sliders and doesn’t drop any fries. After waiting still as he bags the next person’s family pack of chicken, we ask are the fries going down? No! And now It’s going to be at least 10 mins for Fries to cook. This whole time he and a female, who isn’t working are talking over everyone with a personal conversation. This place is SO Mismanaged!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE. ABORT! Went to cashier and got a refund. Don’t waste your time. GO TO POPEYES!!!!

The chicken is getting more expensive and the employees are becoming more disrespectful. Every time I am there, I see new faces, due to this the efficiency and speed decreases. I have to wait a long time to checkout, most of the time it's just waiting for the employees to stop having their personal conversation.Other times, someone will come in from the other door and cut everyone in line, and employees will just start helping them even though they just cut the line....Chicken was good and worth it when it was $8 to $10. Now it's $14 to $22 for a 8 pc meal? Are you kidding me? It's comparable to any fast food, its not 5 star dine in service, it's a gas station.I would stop coming if it wasn't for the location and decent gas price.

I was in there late one night. The cook wanted to keep the grill off for the morning shift, or some weird ******* reason and when I asked for a sausage egg and cheese croissant she made it, but, and this is a big but, she marked a frowned face on the egg. The d******* thing I’ve ever seen. Do people not look at their food before they eat it? It was a sad night in my stomach that night. :(

So I had a long shift, just got off from work. Decided to head over at royal farm to purchase some tobacco. Tonight I notice the cashier was new and I forgot to walk with my ID. Normally everyone who works there knows me cause I'm there everyday or night. I ask for my items and I was carded. On my way back with my ID, the cashier just sold the next customers some tobacco product and I ask why she didn't ID him. Her reply was "I DON'T HAVE TO I'D HIM CAUSE HE LOOK OLD THAN 40". I understand the state law say to ID anyone who look young than a certain age. This guy was tall and build. I ask how do you know he is old than 40 Why you didn't ID him but you make me leave the store to get my ID which I think is unfare. So I simply ask for the cashier name she refuse to say and said "I DON'T HAVE TO ARGUE WITH YOU". Love this location and the team but please when you are bring a new team members on board, please let them know that customers are the main priority don't argue with them.

Always! Trash debris in bushes and on parking lot. Most of the time trash cans at pumps are overflowing. Customer service is extremely poor. We are a regular and you still get carded to purchase tobacco when it’s obvious we are at legal age. The line has been drawn we are not returning for gas or convenient store items.

A lot of the employees are very pleasant and helpful. There's a couple who could lose the attitude though. I try to avoid coming here because the customer base is not the best. There's always a line & someone always comes up to me asking for something, money, my number, etc... it's just uncomfortable. Today was the last time I come here. Will be taking the extra time to go somewhere else.

I had a taste for a cold cut all day and I am pregnant. I bought a cold cut went home and 3 bites into my sub there was a long piece of hair in it. I immediately threw up I am so upset. It needs to be mandatory that your employees wears hair nets.please enforce this.

Every time I come here the food is so slow and the cashiers are very ignorant rude disrespectful and have no common sense that all when it comes to deal with people can you stay very unprofessional. Also working with a bonnet on your head can you say trashy.

I use these car washes as a last resort. It seems to never get all of the dirt off on the back end of my car. Plus when finished I always seem to have soap on the front quarter panels. Forget taking your vehicle there if it is very dirty, you will be sorely disappointed.Just a last resort.

If I could give them under a 1 star I would !!ILL NEVER get chicken from there again. Ordered a 12 piece family meal and my chicken was pink and slimy !! DISGUSTING!

This is the worst royal farms ever came in contact with for starters they need new management we don’t no one in there have customer service skills The chicken is always hard or they either don’t have any chicken in stock I work at a Royal Farms store #111 I only go hear cuz it rite by my house but if I could tell people not to go to this one I would the older black lady always have a nasty attitude the one that be in the deli with the green shirt
