If I could give no stars to Snoopy Pet Grooming, I would.We are long-time dog lovers and currently have four wonderful canine family members. A 12-year-old Labradoodle, a 3-year old Aussie Doodle, a 2-year old standard Bernedoodle, and a 2-year-old mini Bernedoodle. We took our mini Bernedoodle to Snoopy Pet Grooming in Ellicott City for a shampoo and haircut. She's a shy smallish girl with very soft, fine hair.When we picked her up, she was visibly uncomfortable. When we got her home, she began non-stop shaking her head back and forth with her ears flapping furiously. We checked her ears, and Snoopy's had plucked all of the poor things ear hair out!!!#1) We DID NOT REQUEST that Snoopy Pet Grooming pluck her ear hair out!!#2) Snoopy Pet Grooming DIDN'T ASK US if we wanted her ear hair plucked!#3) NOWHERE DID IT SAY that they were going to perform this procedure?I went back to the shop to express my displeasure with the situation.The manager began trying to explain his reasoning behind their actions when an older woman came out front and began to berate me, saying that it was "perfectly normal" to do this procedure.I told her that in the 20 or so years that I've been taking my dogs to groomers, not once was this ever done to them! She continued to argue with me, pointing to their List of Services sign.The list included "ear cleaning". It said zero about ear hair plucking!My dogs have had their ears cleaned at many different groomers and at home, and it never involved ripping their ear hair out!The manager indicated she should return to the back and then he continued arguing with me about his justifications for their action. I pointed out repeatedly that the sign says absolutely NOTHING about PULLING OUT HAIR from the dogs ears! And that her ears NOW seem to be infected. Additionally, many veterinarians recommend against this practice as skin tearing can cause infections to form. Despite this, he insisted that his shop was not at any fault.Our dog has never had any problems with her ears at all. None of our dogs have. Now the poor girl has been miserable for 4 days, shaking her head frantically, barely eating, and hiding. The soonest appointment we could get with our veterinarian is in two days.With so many other options, I strongly recommend you avoid this grooming company!

Very satisfied with the grooming service. I called in the morning and they were able to groom our dog on the same day. Friendly staff. We will come back for the next one!

Oh my goodness if I could give 10 stars I would. This was the first time I had my Goldens professionally groomed and Johnny and his team were amazing. They greeted me, answeredall my questions, and said they would text when they were ready and like clock work they sure did. I was worried a bit how my one adopted Golden would do because of abuse that happened in her puppy hood and Johnny and his team were so amazing with her. They said she did so well. He kept her with her sister and she was so calm and was at peace. The dogs looked beautiful too. Goldens have those furry toes at times (aka Grinch toes) and well their feet are so trimmed and their coats are so soft. I will for sure be coming back again and again.Thank youJohnny and team for taking such good care of our fur babies. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’m so excited this place is finally open!! Great location, lots of parking, clean, and my dog loved it! Lesha was amazing!! She kept my Doodle’s coat longer, where other places just want to shave my dog down because it’s easier. Lesha knows Doodles and he’s beautiful and he didn’t look traumatized afterwards. I’m so happy! I will be a loyal customer!!

This was our first time trying this new pet salon in Ellicott City close to Rt. 40. Jimmy was friendly and pleasant, and he did such a great job with my girl Frankie. Her haircut was perfect, even around her paws and personal areas, and her nail trim was finished with filing (dremmel?) so they were soft and rounded. I can tell that Jimmy takes pride in his job, and he returned our girl to us looking super fresh and gorgeous. I will continue to patronize this business.

Absolutely outstanding grooming experience. Agape, my Goldendoodle, has been kicked out of multiple “experienced” grooming salons. I was told that he gator rolled and was too much for the groomers to handle.I told the owner of Snoopy about this and he was willing to try. Because of the experienced groomers at Snoopy, Agape received his cut, and quickly! He came out happy, excited, and absolutely beautiful.And the cost was less than Petco/ Petsmart!I am so glad Agape found a home for his grooming. You simply MUST support the growth of this business. They are tremendous at what they do.

SO happy to have found this place! They did an excellent job with my 13 year old Shih Tzu. She looked exactly like I asked for her to look. Also, everything was included with the groom (minus teeth brushing) and the total cost came out to $80. Cheaper than what I have paid in the past elsewhere. She smelled and looked good when I picked her up. I made another appointment prior to leaving. Excellent service and friendly staff!

I would like to say my experience at this groomer was amazing! I took my dog in fully matted and she left there looking incredible. I felt like they cared so much about her happiness and comfort and didn’t upcharge me for the matting or scold me. I’m so thrilled to take her back in 8 weeks!!!

Snoopy Pet Grooming is excellent. They do an amazing job on my two Goldendoodles. Very friendly, clean and accommodating. Love this place, service and the way the dogs look.

We had the BEST experience at Snoopy Pet Grooming. We have a small chihuahua and he cries every time I leave him. He was instantly at ease when we walked in and when I picked him up I could not believe he was happy and he has never smelled so good...LOL. We will definitely be back monthly for more Snoopy Grooming!! Thank you so much to Johnnie and the rest of the staff.

Great experience with the groomers here at Snoopy Pet. If they can handle my 100 lb. Bernese mountain dog, then they can handle anything! Will return for my Berners next cut!! Highly recommend!

They keep dogs in cramped, unsafe conditions. They have, at previous places, cut dogs’ tongues and ears along with razor burns. Please be wary when taking your dog there.

The experience was very good. I called yesterday during my break to make an appointment for my dog ​​for today. I dropped him off at noon and picked him up two hours later. My Sheltie came home clean, fluffy, and his hair was very soft. I want to come back!!

After my poor Louis' horrible experience at another hairdresser which resulted in a back injury, we were traumatized to have to take her elsewhere. I've been grooming at home since the incident, but there's only so much I can do without the right tools. I had heard great things about Snoopy Pet and decided to give it a chance today. It was quick yet thorough. Louis was in a very good mood when I picked her up. It's great that we now have a trustworthy groomer close by. Thank you Johnny for taking such good care of my baby. she looks beautiful
