I visited this location for the 1st time today and I did not expect it to be as large as it is!!I can only imagine all of the cool things they might have there come spring time!I would say that it felt like a mix of Home Depot, ACE Hardware, and a Homestead Gardens that I wouldn't mind just floating around in for an hour or so looking at stuff.

Clark's has always been a great place to shop. This place is a landscaper's paradise for Stihl equipment! Beyond outstanding customer service and care shown by the staff! I will definitely miss the Clark family when Westlake takes over, but I trust the Clark's made the right decision. I will continue to go here for my landscaping needs

Bad place. Avoid. Drive 30 minutes to drop off a mower at 6pm (after I confirmed earlier it was acceptable) and was told they would not accept due to shop being closed. Manager told me if I left it there they would “put it outside”. Apparently they have a hard time “losing” lawnmowers (kind of impressive to lose lawnmowers). After traveling long distance, insane to me they wouldn’t just put a tag on it and take it, totally unreasonable. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and will not go back.Note: I reached out to them at the inbox provided below and got zero response. So as dishonest to the issues above.

Clean, well organized, helpful staff, quality products, it’s what I nostalgically remember what a hardware store should be.I usually pass by the big box stores to frequent Clark’s when I need something for the house or the yard. Expectations have to be realistic, they don’t have the variety of the larger stores but they generally have what I need and the prices are competitive.Big pluses….they actually fill propane tanks, they sell high end tool and outdoor cooking brands, the hardware section is organized and easy to find the right sizes, and the staff know what they are talking about.Spread the word to support locally owned businesses that are well run!

This place is IT! As soon as I walked into this wonderland of an Ace I was welcomed warmly by the staff! Smiling from ear to ear in amazement of this Vast warehouse that is Ace I was assisted almost immediately and found Exactly what I was looking for exactly where she said! The organization of this place is top tier! Checking out was just as pleasant ( I grabbed a bag of HotCocoa Popcorn straight from the heavens above might I add) and was greeted once again with a beautiful energy James! All I will say is based off of the entire experience from customer care to accessibility and organization I am absolutely coming back here and if you are reading this you should too!!

Clark's Ace Hardware is the local store that has what you need when you need it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store has a great selection of merchandise at great prices. If I could do it legally, I would declare them as dependents on my income tax - that is how much I patron their store.

This place is great. Super friendly staff that want to help. They carry a large selection of craftsman tools and understand how to make the lifetime warranty exchange a breeze. They also have a big selection of Milwaukee tools.

We worked with Ken Mertz to get a Craftsbury Woodstove and, though there were problems along the way, Ken took good care of us. We were particularly pleased that, when there were quality issues with the Woodstove parts, Craftsbury's process caught the defects and we did NOT get a sub-standard product. And when there was damage to the stove upon delivery to our house, Clarks Ace Hardware dealt with the shipping and manufacturing side, and we got a brand new stove. We love our stove! Thank you, Ken!

Eric, Angela and Shane at the paint counter were AMAZING! They were so incredibly knowledgeable about the different paints, and what adjunct materials we would need for our painting projects. We are honestly going to become Ace customers now based on how helpful this team was for us. Eric went above and beyond by using an external site to really find us our perfect color. Ace is general is also a great place, with a lot of local treats to buy, and just sweet helpful people all around! They also let you have your dog in the store, which Pumpkin loved.

One on one service from a knowledgeable staff. It's a lot easier to shop here and the selection is impressive. Really great store. Return policy impressive. I even like the candy choices on the way to cashier. Last thing- the cashier counter is a giant piece of live - edge wood. Very cool.

Despite some rough measurements, the grill wouldn’t fit in the car once we got it outside. This crew quickly mobilized and got the grill out of the box and safely packaged in the car for us within minutes. Great attitudes and stellar service! Thank you!

Took my Stihl power pole saw to repair shop for repairs. I figured since the claim to be a Stihl professional they could handle the job . I was wrong they had the tool for over 3 months and nothing was done . After many phone call I got the saw back . Never againI did however have management reach out to me. After one email asking me about the issue they never answered again.

This store used to be neighborhood store. The owner couple were nice to customers.This afternoon I went to pick up a lawn mower from this store. I asked the "expert" about advantages and disadvantages on various models of the same brand. He was unable to answer to some of my questions and asked me to download its manual online. At last, his response is, I don't cut grass use a lawnmower. I asked if he uses a rider. He replied to me, if you have US15,000 dollar and 6 acres of lawn to cut, you could buy a rider. I was shocked by his answer as one of seasoned peers sits behind the counter without a word.I felt so intimidated and I was so frustrated with this bad experience.I went back to the store 2 days later due to some operational issues. I wish the store expert had answered to my questions when I picked up this lawnmower. The store manager, Mr. Dionne resolved the problems and share some highlights on how to operate this lawnmower. He really makes my purchase a better experience. That is very helpful. Thank you.

I have been going to this Ace since I was a little girl and I love the fact you guys carry different brands of things that you can't get at like home Depot .But I don't know what's going on there and if they took all there old employees from there to there new store. I couldn't find anyone to help me and last summer there was always someone walking around asking if you needed help. The store still looks great. Came in for some machine screws and a replacement swivel head/grommet for a desk clamp vice. Was looking to fix a mounted computer monitor arm. While they didn’t have the latter, the staff put in a lot of effort into looking and trying to help me out. They were all very nice and outgoing. Thanks!

I go to Clark's Ace hardware when I need something that is not low priced, or when I need help. I go to Clarks hardware when the big stores fail me. I go to Clarks when I need something fixed like a lawn mower, or screens, or any of the many other items that they fix at their store. I go there one I need keys made whether they are electronic or physical. It's a great place, the only question I ask myself is why don't I go there more often?

This place is the best destination for hardware and homegoods. Not only is the selection high quality, the staff is unmatched. I was there the other day with my 3 year old in the cart, and a baby in a carrier, and I was immediately greeted by staff who walked me to the items I needed and helped me make my choices. They were also very patient and helpful while I was checking out with my kids.We also always keep Clark's on our list for holiday events, they have the friendliest Santa and Easter bunny plus other family activities throuout the year.

Very helpful people here. They have a great selection of hard to find items as well as the usual stuff you can find at the big box hardware stores. Their sale prices are also very good. This is a great family run local business.Dec 2022 update. I noticed recently they have a self service dog wash here. I did not see the wash station, I only saw a sign. This would be a great option in winter months when you would not want to wash your dog outside at home. They provide shampoo and other items to help get Fluffy clean.Oct 2023 update. Stopped in on the way home from work for an item. Lots of new faces. They hire a lot of high school students. As usual, they were very friendly and helpful. I love locally owned and operated stores like this. I hope they are around for another 178 years.
