Literally the most disgusting business I have ever been to. The women at the front counter was very nice, but this place has multiple issues. To start, when you walk in the waiting area is surrounded in flies. There was a baby behind the counter, of which the women left with us (STRANGERS!!!) to go and get our dog at pick-up, that couldn't have been more than 4 months old, flies buzzing on his head, on his bottle, etc. MY first instinct, if you're taking care of a baby this way how are you taking care of my dog? The waiting area was horribly dirty, baby items all around, filth, smells. Our Belgian Malinois was in one of the back crates as she is timid, she was with dogs that has cones on their heads, injuries, etc. The women did not have Mila's leash (our dog) when she went to get her, leaving this baby with us, so she comes back out and asks if we want to come back and get her ourselves. We walk back to the kennels, there is orange water pouring down into these drains by the dogs, the dogs are bouncing off the walls going crazy, there is a kennel with 3 Pitbull puppies inside all around these rambunctious dogs, unsure why there are puppies this small in general - their own dogs? A puppy mill? Who knows. The place also looks NOTHING like its photos. I am thankful our pup was not there more than one night. The whole baby thing has me shook.

The kind and hard working staff at Captain's Quarter's provided our Rottweiler, Bailey with a comfortable and caring place to stay. This is the first experience our dog has had away since we rescued her from a no-kill shelter in 2020.Our dog chases cats and is often very nervous around them. She also can be very territorial and can have a scary and strong bark when around strangers. I gave them the run down of some these behavior issues, and placed her in their competent hands.The ladies at Captain's Quarters were super responsive to all my neurotic questions and even gave me an update on her during the week we were gone! It is clear that they care a great deal about every pet stays there and are attentive to them as individual guests. Bailey came home happy, healthy and sparkling clean as they even gave her a bath! : )Captain's Quarters has a solid history of successful boarding of pets and they are highly recommended by pet owners in our area. They offer reasonable prices and a competent and caring staff who will take excellent care of your pet!

Great staff! This place was recommended to us by our vet when our go to kennel was booked. Our dogs and kitty loved it. How do we know? When we went again they were all happy to be going back. They allow our dogs to be put together and near their cousin dog. You can tell they truly care. It may not seem like too much when you drive up, but the staff is waiting to greet them with kindness, and they are given beds and food (unless you want to bring your own) and opportunity to go outside and play. They get a free bath if over a week. When our flight was delayed and we couldn't get back in time, they didn't charge us the extra night fee. (Definitely NOT expected but a nice gesture!). Love this place!

I left my two beagle puppies here for their first overnight stay, and I couldn't be happier with our experience! They showed our pups so much love and took great care of them. I am prone to worrying about my dogs constantly, but I felt very comfortable keeping them here. Also, everything is very reasonably priced! We will definitely be back!

We board our pups here and they take great care of them. The last time we left our mini dachshund there, they played with her and took her for walks. Granted, that's extra, but so worth it! Our dogs always seem fine when we pick them up and I have no reservations about their care while they are there. They treat them very well. :-)

I took my two terriers there last year to be groomed. Their hair cuts were great but they had not been bathed. I thought that was part of any grooming package. They did not deny that they had not bathed them. Over all I was very happy with the cut but bathed them myself when I returned home.

We took our dog in for a bath and brush-out. The first thing you will notice at this facility is the overwhelming smell of feces and urine. I realize this is a kennel but nothing should smell like this if it is properly maintained. I took a shot and left him for grooming anyhow. When I picked him up he had a powerful perfume sprayed on him. I thought it would wear off shortly. I was wrong. The dog was sick that night from the smell. The smell permeated the entire house. The next day I actually had to rinse him myself. But that did not get this smell out. It is now 3 weeks later and he still has a faint smell about him. On top of that they did not brush him out and we were vacuuming up hair for weeks.

I was really excited to try this groomer. She did not cut the hair on my Shih Tzu puppy's face at all which was very disappointing but he's a puppy and won't sit still. My mother took him to her groomer and she cut his face perfectly and informed me that his nails were NEVER cut.I'm giving 2 stars because what she actually did bother to cut looked nice.

We board our cats there and they have a nice environment for them. An open area, enclosed space and a perch in each suite with a door that may be open or closed to neighbors. We are confident that our pets receive quality care. Always check their hours before heading there.

They do a great job on my small dog, and she always loves going back, it's kind of hard to find but they do a good job at grooming. And if my dog likes it then what more can I really say.
