Best groomers on the planet! Seriously my little Havanese, Rocky, loves Shaggy Paws and he dislikes most dogs and some people. I have been traveling from Delaware after my previous groomer shut down completely after the pandemic. Shaggy Paws is well worth the 1 1/2 hour drive! They do a great job and he loves them.

We have been going to shaggy paws for almost 2 years I started with my first Shih tzu after having two prior horrible experiences with groomers I found shaggy paws and have been so grateful for them they helped my terrified fur baby become comfortable and they do fantastic job. This year we got us another Shih tzu baby who is a fire cracker she’s the definition of a second born child and they do amazing with her and they never complain about her being a wild child. I will never trust another groomer other than shaggy paws even when we eventually move further away from them I will forever travel no matter the distance to them. They are amazing and they always work with your schedule thank you for treating Mia and Willow so amazingly we love you guys.

I have a 13 year old silky mix. I’ve had so many bad experiences at groomers, such as razor burn. I almost hated to take him anywhere. The groomer listened to my concerns and did an excellent job. He’s never looked so cute. I highly recommend Shaggy Paws.

My dogs always look and smell great after grooming. The ladies do an excellent job and are easy to work with. They are in high demand, so be prepared to book several weeks in advance though they do offer an emergency booking for an extra fee if they can fit you in. Love this place!

The girls do a great job with my miniature Maltese and my moms shihtzu. They are quick with great prices! Every groomer I’ve ever taken my dogs to, the dogs are there all day long and are super upset when you pick them up. Not at Shaggy Paws! Won’t go anywhere else :)

It has taken us a couple of years to find somebody who can cut our dog's nails. When we brought Cara in they were just awesome! It's such a relief now to know that we have that someone who she trusts to do her nails.

Shaggy paws 🐾 is a outstanding place to take your precious pet!! These ladies will give them a amazing spa day as I call it or even just a nail clipping if that is what you are looking for but you can bet your pet will be well taken care of and loves while at shaggy paws 🐾

I have used Shaggy paws about a year. I always deal with Angela who is wonderful and clearly an animal lover. I have a shitzu rescue. Timid but loving. I wait in the car due to distance of where I live. A month ago I heard him yelping and suddenly stop. I got out of the car and Angela came out saying he was having his nails trimmed, got scared, and she got down talking to him and he calmed. This month he was crying and yelping without stopping. I got out of my car, went into the garage facility and he was on a table, soaked, dripping, and Crystal was steady blowing him with cool air. I felt sick. Clearly there was a lack of care or concern for this scared dog. Why wouldn't you stop, calm him, do something other than continue? She said that he wasn't really bad because he didn't bite. Many reviews mention how quick she is. Animals like people are all different. Some need a little extra time and tenderness which I would've gladly paid extra for. I don't believe she hurt him but she was acting without any feeling or care. Get the job done get the money. I won't take my animals where there are scared to go or come out vomiting as my chihuahua (also a timid rescue) did.

These ladies do an amazing job with my elderly dogs. They are kind, patient and very understanding of their special needs. My dogs come home looking amazing and happy! I highly recommend this place.

The girls at Shaggy Paws used to groom Pip when they worked at Petsmart in Dover. When Crystsl opened her own shop I decided to take the 55 minute drive and take Pip to her new place.

Do not under any circumstance become a regular visitor to this place. They do not allow for criticism of any kind & think they are the best when only best at arrogance. Its hard to give them a single star, but I had too. Do not be fooled.
