Supposed to open at 9am on weekdays and it’s 10 minutes after 9am and no one is to be seen or heard from. I’m late for work and now have no medication. I’m switching back to walgreens this is ridiculous.

I always had issues getting meds delivered even though it was right on my profile that they delivered to my office in Chestertown. Also, they would fill prescriptions with the wrong dosing. I recently moved from Maryland to Ohio and one of my meds they gave the Ohio Pharmacy the wrong dosing and now I’m going to be out of it on Wednesday morning because Chester River told them 2 pills once per day & it should’ve been 2 pills twice per day. So annoying that this is happening still and I’m not even using Chester River Pharmacy anymore. Not to mention the workers are rude or they act as if you’re bothering them (most, not all of them).

We've gotten shots at Chester River in the past, and each time, we've been greeted by friendly faces, cheery welcomes and short wait times. Today was no different. When I walked in to ask how complicated it would be to switch our prescriptions to their location, the pharmacy rep behind the counter said, "Easy!" as she took the form needed, and began to fill it out for me. When I asked about flu shots, I learned that they haven't yet received them, but that's no problem. With the kind of friendly, efficient service they offer onsite, we'll happily wait. We're grateful for this local option!

Meds don't get delivered. My nabor and I need heart meds, he is 85 years old, I'm a little younger, some of the workers in there are very rude, not helpful at all, they lie about prescriptions, tell me doc has not sent them, I speak to the doc first so I know it's there, they will not fill untill closing time. No reason for that at all, when I call to check on meds, they pick up phone and hang it right back up with out even speaking, also if I do get through and ask to speak to the pharmacist, I will be kept on hold for 15 min. or so, when they answer she will say, you held that long for that, very rudely I needed my meds, wish I was able to work, show them how to respect and be polite, they have no idea

Chester River Pharmacy is a class act in every way! The Pharmacists are knowledgeable and readily available. The men and women at the counter are nice, patient...and quick at the same time. This is an obviously, well respected Pharmacy as it is busy. That said, the processes and procedures are very well organized!Thank you, Chester River Pharmacy!

Today I needed a special item for my mother. Unfortunately Chestertown is very limited on stores and places to shop. Walgreens didn't have the item she needed post surgery. So I decided to go to the only other pharmacy nearby. I went to Chester River Pharmacy and it was a mistake. While looking for several minutes trying to find the item I was looking for, no one asked if I needed help finding anything meanwhile watching my every move. Finally locating something similar to what I needed, I go get in line to pay. Patiently waiting as several employees look at me, 10 minutes later I'm still waiting. Finally she calls for assistance. Ignoring me she goes to the lady that was after me. I finally had to ask to pay for my item after waiting nearly 20 minutes. Never again, if my Mother hadn't needed it, I would have walked out of the store, what a shame it is for people of Color In 2021.

Ty for the kindness n patients ( great listening skills) you all exhibit when calls are made , and for delivers. The people who make the deliveries are amazing and sweet .Your pharmacists explain things perfectly and in retrospect i wish i had transferred to Chester River a long time ago. When i did decided to transfer, they became family immediately n made the transfer easy and my meds were filled seamlessly . Ty chester River keep up the great well deserved ratings. Stay safe ALL.

My girlfriend and I love dealing with Chester River Pharmacy, where they greet us by name when we come thru the door! As our insurance decides what our copays are, all Pharmacies charge the same amount. The difference between other Pharmacies in the area & CRP is the superb service and getting our meds on time. The entire staff is friendly and strives for perfection in making sure our meds are correct.The only negatives we find is a need for new parking lot stripes, as no one knows where to park & cars often take up 2 or more spaces!Also, when our prescriptions are ready, we get simultaneous text and phone calls letting us know. It would be better if we could opt out of one or the other. We don't need both at the same time.

The new owner/manager wouldn’t hire me because I was black. He said he preferred hiring white women and laughed about it. You’re better off going to Walgreens.

I wish I could say this place is a joke but jokes are supposed to be funny and when it comes to peoples medication it really isn’t a funny situation. I’ve been out of the hospital for over a week they haven’t been able to get my prescription to me for a simple prescription for acid reflux. Because I spent so long in the hospital I became very weak so I have to find somebody to go to the pharmacy which is 20 minutes from my house it’s the only place my insurance takes in the area. So every time someone goes there to pick up my prescription they have a new excuse this time was that they have to wait an additional couple of days before they can refill my prescription that they never filled in the first place. I don’t know if they’re running some type of money laundering situation or they’re taking money from insurance companies and lying to patients but I can’t wait to get out of this area and find a new pharmacy so I never have to deal with this ridiculousness again.

I used to think this pharmacy was great until I asked to have a prescription delivered and it took over 3 hours to do so! If I knew that I would of just came back and picked it up myself considering it’s a medication I need right away! Not cool!

Horrible customer service. Pharmacist was not willing to help at all. Go elsewhere. BCBS wants me to use them wrong. I will drive to Baltimore before giving them my business. She was so inconsiderate. Walgreens is better than this place. What a disappointing 1st experience. Being convienent is not worth it

The staff went above and beyond to get my daughter her medication. Hours away at college, she didn't have anyone to help her get to the pharmacy. The staff called the hospital to get her prescription, took payment over the phone, and delivered the medication to her dorm room. This will definitely be our pharmacy while in Chestertown!

you say full service with abrieviated hrs. you close early at 6pm during wk and even earlier at 2pm on saturday and open not at all on Sunday. I will be switching pharmacies for this reason.
