Did a walk on the C&D canal trail yesterday with our two dogs Nyra the Husky and Grace the Chipit. Decided to check out the Real McCoy for some ice cream cones. Great treat after a hot walk. Yes Nyra and Grace got the end of the cones with a small amount of ice cream. They both gave it a paws up.

Stopped by for a milkshake, and I was not disappointed! They asked me if I wanted a small or a large, and I responded that I want the largest they have, as you can't have too big a shake🤣. Anyhow she pulled this huge cup down and asked if it was big enough! Finally, a place that doesn't just stick to the advertised sizes and gives special ones, obviously the price was adjusted accordingly, but it was still very reasonable. Thanks guys!

Always a fun time taking my boys to get ice cream. Most days, there's plenty of parking. Small town business with losts of families memories tied to it. Just look at the huge trees that shade the picnic table areas, they have lots of initials carved in them. Great atmosphere. Lots of choices of ice cream. Cash only.

Lots of options and generous portions. Cash only though and only one order window and no sit down waiting area. Also every time I've sat at their picnic tables there were yellowjackets.

The girls who were behind the window have an attitude problem. They also need different kind of payments instead of cash. Who carrys cash these days? Everywhere i go accwpts debit/ credit. When ordering next time remind us is cash only because i dont look at the menu if i know what i want. If i get ice cream, i better off heading to DQ, Ritas and UDairy

Quick service. Lots of selections. Reasonable prices. The soft serve twist was delicious. My husband enjoyed his heathbar flurry, too. There are picnic tables sit and chat with friends, too. Good stop just over the Chesapeake City Bridge S.

Love this place! Reminds me of days gone by. I got the banana pudding ice cream on waffle cone and it was a lot of ice cream for the price. Next time will get the frozen chocolate banana and see how that is. Also will get the food and review that next time.

Came here yesterday with a group of people after our fishing trip, the lady who took our order asked if we were all together we said yes and her hole attitude change. She was very ignorant and just running her mouth behind the window. We were to happy with the place.

The girl who helped us was semi-friendly, there was certainly no welcome mat. That being said, the ice cream was delicious and there was an overwhelming (in a good way) variety of flavors. The ice cream was yummy enough to bring us back.

Very very good ice cream. They've got a great outdoor seating area, wooden tables and benches, perfect for a family. Staff was friendly, even to some unreasonable customers ahead of us in line. A friend of mine grew up on this place, she swears by it, and I was impressed.

I usually like to stop in here whenever I am close but was disappointed to see that they removed some of the ice cream options to add grilled food items. Don't get me wrong the ice cream is still good but their focus is no longer just on ice cream. Not to mention while we were eating our ice cream the owner brought a dog out of the back room to go for a walk then took him back in when he was done. I am all for having pets at work but not where food is being prepared. Will it stop me from going there in the future? No, but I wouldn't order anything other then ice cream

Used to love the soft serve, but they must have changed the recipe. The ice cream had a salty taste. Tried it again two weeks later, and same thing. Disappointing.

A newly discovered gem just outside the main town of Chesapeake City, MD. Large assortment of flavors, professional staff, line moves quickly, lots of parking, onsite bathrooms, and picnic tables. The small size is so not small. Big portions. Great prices too.

Huge portions for ice-cream and desserts. Chocolate Chip cookie dough is mini chocolate chips separate from the cookie dough chunks.Outdoor picnic benches to eat at. Great handmade ice-cream. Also have soft serve with mix in twisty flavors. Brownie boat brownies were very dense. Most likely from a package.
