Today, 4/8/2024 around 10:33am, I went to Aberdeen, MD to purchase boxes. I went to checkout at the self check out register and was met by a cashier who I believe is named Sharon. She came up and immediately started scanning my boxes. I told her that I'm okay and can do it myself. She then insisted to continue to scan the boxes and said, " this is assisted check out not self check out". She also said "You are on the phone aren't you". I told her that me being on the phone has nothing to do with checking out. She continued to scan my boxes. I then pulled away and went to an actual register. I told her I don't need her help and will go to a regular cashier. She then said, "yeah, you do that".Now, I kept my cool with this lady Sharon but her behavior was totally unacceptable. Customers should not be treated this way at all. I understand loss prevention and cashiers checking to make sure that no one is stealing; however, the way she went about this and her attitude made me feel unwanted. She really needs additional training on how to better interact with customers at self check.I really hope you are able to look into this and get Sharon the training that she needs. This situation could have escalated if I did not walk away due to her being so rude and persistent after I told her "no" several times.

Ran out of paint mid project late at night. Entirely my fault, but I knew Home Depot was still open. I came by at 9:15 pm and they were closed, despite their corrected hours posted on the door.

We came there yesterday and rented a chainsaw, the clerk was very courteous and understanding and knew everything about what we needed. 10 stores not just fine. Home Depot is building America strong again

Absolutely the worse home depot to go to to find specialty hardware and tools. Save yourself the trouble go to home depot in Elkton or BelAir. I constantly stop here and have to go to the other home depots for what I need. No stove pipe. No drain bladders, no fricking chainsaw chains over 20 inches.

I've been to this Home Depot several times and I've never had an issue. I went yesterday 07/22/23 and the cashier where the plants are wouldn't help me with my military discount. I went to customer service and the young lady had no clue on how to assist me. I finally went to self check out and thank goodness for Miss Sharon (40520) she went over and beyond to assist me and she also had a beautiful personality. I think some of the employees need a little more training with customer service and maybe Miss Sharon can assist with it.

The lady working the tool rental department is a complete control freak. She was incredibly rude to me when returning a steam cleaner. The company I work for has rented steam cleaners from you guys several times and never have I had this rude of a service. And even tho I thoroughly cleaned the machine I rented and only kept it for 1.5 hours she still charged me a cleaning fee. You guys treat your customers like garbage

Went in there to try and return something and there was one guy working customer service and 5 employees doing nothing at the other end. He was taking forever and the guys at the pro desk would not do my return for me. Got tired of waiting and left.

I rented a 10 inch Makita chain saw and was very disappointed with its performance. They put the chain on backwards and it obviously did not do the job that was intended.I brought it back to the store and the one employee rudely accused me of abusing the saw and told the attendant not to give me a discount. I do not recommend renting from here.

Purchased a floor lamp at Home Depot and asked if I could have the floor model. Didn’t want to assemble it due to back issues. Was told if I purchased the one in the box they would have someone assemble it the next day. One of the customer service employees, Danzig, offered to assemble it for me right away. I was so happy with the customer service and her willingness to help me!! The Aberdeen Home Depot is amazing…also, Angie, the manager was wonderful as well

I went in very over whelmed. I asked from help from an employee and they turned me away. The only other people I could find were two other employees, Emily and Allison, they were amazing. They went out of their way to ensure I left with exactly what I needed. They had their power out because of a storm, it was dark running on emergency lights and hot due to no ac running, but they were in good spirits. I’m appreciative of the store for being open and appreciative for those two employees for being compassionate and providing excellent customer service.

Kristy Stone & Matthew Thompson discriminate people who fit specific criteria, they maintain this location very poorly and don't pay theyre employees on time. I fear they will cost more than gain if they remain in positions they aren't qualified for.

The store is always stocked and looks good. Today i had a GEM help me out. Name on her Apron said Mack (i think) and she was one of the most helpful person i have ever encountered. Jumped right in to help me without me asking or making me feel any less for not knowing what i needed in bulbs. Showed me exactly what i was looking for, explained it and gave me options. Truly made my day. Thank you so much Mack! You are amazing!

Great store; one of the best Home Depot locations. I have been to this site thousands of times over the years. The customer service is good, the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. The check out is quick and parking lot easily accessible with many parking spaces. Prices are good and selection is good. Located just off the I95 exit and not too far from Rte40.

Went to purchase mulch. Large sign painted on bags " 5 for $10.00". When I asked to purchase 20 bags, they told me the sale was over. Went to Wai-mart for a better price.

One of my favorite stores thats gets me in trouble, lol 😆 Yes they have oodles of supplies for just about any building, plumbing, electrical, indoor/outdoor equipment, cleaning, flooring, paint and the list goes on. 😀

Normally a Home Depot shopper, purchased whole kitchen package. Recently, purchased a washer from this Home Depot. Delivery did not show on scheduled day even though I received 4 hr window and no notification it was not going to show. Called this store for help and manager only said it was warehouse error not theirs so couldn't help. To me that is poor customer service. I had to spend time trying to find out where the washer was by calling 877# and explain the situation over and over. I would think the selling store would have some type of direct access to their customer orders and warehouse management and could help expedite situations where there was a missing delivery. Very disappointed.

Just left a cart of lumber sitting in the aisle because they did not have a manned register open. I didn't see any employees anywhere near the self checkout either. I get that they are short staffed but come on, not even the contractor register was open (in fact it was closed off with the expandable gate). Guess we will just go to Lowe's.

Most of the contractor carts are in the most deplorable state. It is impossible to load anything more than 30 pounds. there is no very large list of products sold in other locations.

Home depot was great. Found what we needed and went to checkout. The gentleman helping us check out very helpful in using the new military discount system. I had no idea how to do it and he walked me right through it. Such a nice gentleman. Thank you.

The staff is almost always friendly with the exception of customer service employees. I have been ignored there on multiple occasions. I also purchased a gallon of paint during a sale weekend when a $10 rebate was included. The associate did not place a label on the top like usual and it ended up being a terrible quality paint that did not match the color that I had previously purchased and asked her to mix. I'm still giving a 4 start rating because the staff is typically friendly and helpful.

I purchased 10 bags of mulch at home Depot in Aberdeen today and requested help with loading the much three times. Two times the cashier requested help and the third time I called home Depot from my phone and they said someone would be right out. After 30 minutes of waiting I went back in and got a refund for the mulch. Needless to say I will not be shopping at this Home Depot anymore.

So we came in and the lady gave wonderful directions to the bathroom which were VERY clean. I was very surprised by that and very happy with that. Paint people were a great help as well. I always enjoy my trips to this Home Depot. The people are so helpful and don’t make me feel like an idiot if I don’t know what I’m talking about, which I normally don’t.
