Went in today for some lunch after a long day at the lake and was blown away! BEST CHICKEN FINGER SUB EVER!!!!! For the price, what I had got was a huge sandwich, anywhere else would charge upmost $12 for what I ordered! The staff is phenomenal and friendly! I’ve been in for a few times just for drinks and smokes, but I remembered they had a kitchen as well! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend the milk room for awesome food and friendly service! Thank you guys so much and I can’t wait to go back ✨❤️

**Edit. The manager called me right away after I posted this. There is some growing pains happening. When my husband got home with the food it was EXCELLENT (per usual.) We had a great conversation and we will continue to be loyal customers. It's just a sub, not life or death.**What's happening over there guys? Super disappointed. The last three times we've ordered, you haven't had what I called in to order over the phone. No call back, nothing. We get there only to be told you're out of something then. So more waiting. I was supposed to get a call back from the manager. Never did. We order there weekly if not sometimes more than that... seriously reconsidering ordering from you guys, at this point. Let's work on the customer service. It's as simple as taking down the caller's phone number and calling them back to ask them what they want instead. You can do better, I know it.

I ordered a ham and provolone Italian. What I got was a ham and American cheese. No big deal, but there was not even a whole slice of cheese. There was only two small squares amounting to half a slice of American cheese which I ordered Provolone. the bun fell apart when I looked (for those of you who know). Stick with the pizza. I took a pic, but it wouldn't matter. Terrible and never again.

Great service however the pizza was there for a LONG time and the hamburger 🍔 I got was terrible and waited 30 minutes which would have been ok if it was good.. Next time I'll go to Waterboro House Of Pizza 🍕

Took 1.5 hours to make my food (on a teusday mind you) a pizza fries and chicken fingers 3 items manager refused to refund me anything (all i wanted was chicken fingers taken off) told me they forgot to make one item when it was 2 items offered me free fries which if I wanted I would of ordered then manager told me she was to busy with other calls coming in and had to go (patty). 10 years of going here and I was absolutely appalled never once have i encountered this. Still paid $30 for food none of my family including 3 kids ate which mind you wasn't ready till past 7pm when order around 5:15 because it was cold and completely unappetizing.

Asked for a salami and turkey with extra pickles all the veggies. I got turkey a ton of green peppers black olives onions and 4 pickle circles. Sub wasnt cut. Just not the place. Need to read tickets while making them cause clearly they make what they want.

I called today 11.12 very nice gentleman took my order of grilled chicken over a garden salad with blue cheese dressing. When I got there he told me it will be ready in a few minutes as he was cooking and working the cash register(multi-tasking)anyway...paid..got my order..left..when I was ready to eat my lunch..it was the most delicious chicken and salad I have eaten..large portion good price..just to let you all know..cheaper than across the street..very happy customer..Thank you !!!!!

Updating review June 2021: The prices went up and the food is the same. Never thought I would say this but I'd rather go to house of pizza.Ever since the new owner took over, this place has gone downhill. Every employee that was there for years has left. I hear the manager complaining about being tired all the time from overworking herself between two locations, she's also very inattentive and will have people standing at the counter for minutes at a time before acknowledging them, and shes just flat out rude most of the time.The food is usually better in the afternoon or night, really depends on who's there. The prices are all over the place, some inventory doesn't ring up and they just type in a number, I've been charged different prices for the same thing.

In my experience The Milk Room has been very good to me! In the two years I have worked there, they have been nothing but family to me. All the co-workers (even the ones over at York County Store) have been amazing. Although I suffered a near fatal accident and haven't been medically cleared to work since my accident back at the end of February of this year, they are holding my position. I get a text message every now and then from the manager to hear about my progress during my recovery. I'm missed and I miss being there. All our vendors are nice too. Honestly, if you have an issue with my fellow co-workers, you're the problem! You're the issue and should just stay home and order everything off line. Become a hermit because the world doesn't need more negativity!

No masks and Ashley in the kitchen is very unprofessional. Texting and refusing to serve someone instead asking another employee to do so. Store has begun going down hill lately and should be reconsidered by all persons in the area. Lake side and waterboro house of pizza have plenty of options as identical prices.

One of the cashiers named Sarah hall , laughed at my CHILD because he couldn't afford an item he wanted. I wouldn't support this business. We don't expect handouts, had of he come home and asked i would've been more then willing to give him more money.. this is only about how he was treated.. Any business who allows that type of behavior by their staff isn't one i will be allowing my child back to and because they would rather protect this staff member then do anything about how she treated A CHILD.

Every time I have went into the Milkroom you have to walk through the cigarette smoke to enter the door because they allow the employees to smoke 10 feet from the door. i was getting ready to order food and i noticed a girl working in the kitchen had gauges in her ears and she was playing with them and then touched food as someone who has gauges in there ears they can be dirty and stink regardless it was gross and i stopped buy food here. I decided to give them another chance and went to buy food today and the chicken was raw when I bit into it I threw it in the trash paid for my other stuff and left. i think it is time the department of agriculture does a inspection!

We have tried a lot of pizza aand reviewed many many pizza places. The Milk Room gets a spot in my top 3 best pizza's ever. Among your basic convienience items you find a great menu of foods and baked good. Staff was very nice, we will make it a point to stop in again and again.

The cashier was really rude when calling back about a messed up order and then ran her mouth about use not knowing we were there bringing back the sandwich I will never order there again

Employees don't wear a mask. They are very selective oh who HAS TO wear them and who doesn't. The cashier's are rude except for Judy. Don't go there unless it's to get gas and you don't have to interact with anyone. I posted a picture of the employee on the phone and not wearing a mask. Tiss tiss

They are called convenience stores for a reason. They are open late sell your typical things for a convenience store including gas, lottery , food such as sandwiches and pizza etc. I don’t like the food there anymore since management changed and new people started cooking but to each their own. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Stopped in while traveling through town on our way to a softball game. Thought we would grab some snacks and cold drinks...we probably should have hit the pizza joint across the street.My first thought was - not a single employee or patron is wearing a mask or social distancing (per State order Covid regulations for reopening).Ordered a 6 inch veggie sub, LOADED with mayo, salt & pepper. Also picked up bag of chips and 2 iced teas. We left and headed to the ball field.I opened my sandwich and it was iceberg lettuce, 3 tomato slices and 1 green pepper fragment. Nothing else...no other veggies. No mayo. No cheese. Just 99% iceberg lettuce. $4.99 of sheer disappointment.Quite pathetic. This was my 1st and last time ever stopping here.

An off the beaten path gem. The bakery items are the best I have found in a long time and I was raised on Long Island N.Y.. The bowtie was incredible so fresh and sweet. The eclair was stuffed with Bavarian creme and topped with a chocolate ribbon. Had several other pastries and none disappointed. If you are anywhere near 125 in Barrington NH don't miss this stop.

I ordered a regular ham Italian it came with shredded ham on top of it this thing was the grossest sandwich I’ve ever had and way overpriced people would be better going to Lakeside or Moe’s Italian sandwiches because the milk room really sucks
