Rented an E-bike here back in August and I had myself a perfect two days! Yes, 1 rental for 24 hrs 10am to 10am which allowed me plenty of time to explore the Rockport and Camden areas. I was able to also grab a glorious morning ride before I turned it back in. I kept the bike overnight, was provided a helmet and lock, the battery dismounts easily from the cradle and you can re-charge it! Game changer right there! Their price points were fair, the bike was quality, clean, and darn fast 💥 easy and quick check out, a safety inspection was done with me prior to departure! I highly recommend you do this...wanna feel 16 again?!

Great shop. Lots of top brands in outdoor gear from Patagonia to Arc'teryx. My son got Diadora soccer cleats on sale. I got a new a Patagonia puffy down coat. My wife got Prana yoga pants. Very pleasant place to shop. They also sell bikes and canoes and other gear.

Vacationing in the area and decided to rent kayaks for a day. Maine Sports Outfitters was extremely accommodating. Friendly and helpful staff. Store had the dry bag I needed and we had an enjoyable day on Lake Megunticook. Rates were more than reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic time on the lobster bake overnight trip with Chris and Stephen. The kayaking was beautiful- we saw seals, a bald eagle, and plenty of other wildlife. The stay at the lodge was incredibly comfortable and beautiful and the lobster bake was literally the best lobster I’ve ever had. Very highly recommend!

We went to this store twice over our Maine weekend. One time to browse and buy a couple sweaters, the other to get a part for one of our bikes.People here are very friendly and helpful they've got a very decent selection of clothing, many different well-known brands. They might do with a couple more XX sizes but I found when I needed.Clothing, camping, biking, skiing, hiking, they have tons and tons of different things. They even have a slide for the kids to use between levels.Plenty of parking with easy access to all three levels of the store.

Amazing! I'd driven by many times but never stopped in. Then I needed swim goggles and snow shoes. I was floored by how big this store is on the inside and how much they carry for an area of quite small towns. Great selection and I happened to go on the first day of their winter sale so I got 30% of everything!

I’ve been coming here since I was very young. Although it’s always more expensive I like to support local businesses, and I was happy when they purchased the new Rockland location. I came in on 4/28 about 30 minutes before close with two friends. We were followed and watched around the store at every turn. I spent close to 400$ and my friend spent almost 200$. I then had to use the bathroom. I was made to use the bathroom in the dark with the door open and the cashier standing outside, I used my phone flashlight and I wasn’t allowed to bring my bag in even though I already checked out and had a receipt, and did I mention the door remained opened the entire time. It was demeaning, and although we stayed in the store only a few minutes passed close it was clear we were being followed. I won’t be back again.

This place is great and all of the staff is kind and very helpful. They have everything you could want for your outdoor adventures. Kenny took care of our canoe purchase, he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back for any future outdoor needs.

Peter in the bike shop was amazing. I had my bike looked over by another shop and doubted that it needed a new rear wheel due to worn bearings as they recommended - and Peter dropped what he was doing and looked it over - and said something around the hub needed an adjustment and made it. Also got my new stiff tire on the wheel - it took him awhile but he persevered. Very friendly place, they have my business now. P.S. I was back soon needing a new tire and he looked at the wheel again and found some chipped metal and said that is reason to replace it, not the bearings.

We had a great experience! My children wanted/ needed iceskates. The staff took the time to measure and check to make sure they had the proper fit and they were happy with the skates. I was so impressed with the service I also bought a set of skates for my self! Great store and very helpful, knowledgeable staff!

This place is awesome with some great customer service. They offer a huge variety of different recreational items. Some prices are a little too high however other prices are very reasonable. Might not make sense now, but when you check this place out you will be like "Oh yeah, some things are over prices but this is a friggen deal!" Very good presentation and great service. Even worth checking out!

What a great outdoor store, it's huge, three plus floors! We stopped in just looking for bike riding advice and spent almost an hour looking around. The staff was very helpful. They have an entire (large) room dedicated just to Patagonia. They have bikes, SUPs, kayaks, camping gear, and much more. Fun place to go, even just to browse.

I signed up for a sea kayak tour in Camden and had an absolute blast! I was a littler nervous as I've never kayaked on the ocean, but the guide was super informative, helpful, and set a really great pace so that we all could keep up. They provided wet bags for anything we needed to keep dry, and kayak shirts to keep the inside dry, it was great. This is perfect for anyone who wants to do something unique in the area and long enough to have fun, but short enough that you can come back and still have half the day for other plans! I'll definitely schedule another one!

All on a day they had a 15% store wide sale? AND to top it off I got enough points to get an additional $50 off one of my items? It really is christmas!
