The staff will lie to make a sale. When you call management, they get defensive instead of taking responsibility and apologizing. If I could give them zero stars I would. I will never go to this establishment again.

If your item is defective, they will charge you to restock it. I bought a bunch of tools and had to return/exchange 2 of the most expensive of the items. Cancelled my membership and will not return.If they tell you there's a restocking fee, it means the item you are buying is absolute garbage and there's a very good chance that it won't work when you bring it home. But in that situation they will still charge you 25% of the items price. Then they take the broken item and put it at the front of the store with a 10 percent discount "as is." I would really like to shop here but I refuse to participate in the restocking fee scam. I went today to buy a tile saw for a single small project, as soon as the phrase restocking fee left her mouth I had flashbacks and said sorry nope, not interested.

Went in 10 minutes before closing, knew what I wanted. Associate pointed me in the right direction. First time to this store. Was told by three associates they were closing soon. If they where more interested in helping instead of telling me the time I would have been gone in 2 mintues instead of 5.

the only way I have found to easily and affordably do almost any task, project, or hobby. from wood working, to respirators for painting, to fun play hobbies. Like...I bought a micrometer there...from watching Ave on you tube. he is a mchininst. ;) and it helped a lot of times in a lot of ways. I will try to send a picture.it is the best store be because it has the lowest prices. see w.m. to compare, tho.....it could be close.these projects cost maybe 50 dollars or so....very affordabletheir top tier solar items are very interesting toofor electricity generationnote: from the mgs. it is all about the transformer...the device that collects the energy (a solar panel) and sends it to the plug end (the place you plug In your cell phone charger. but maybe not your microwave.:-)

Alright so i picked up a Chicago power tools dremel 50$ heavy duty. I had the 10$ years back lasted about 3 months, decent for the money i thought. So why not upgrade i have a larger project and needed some light dremel work figured 50$ maybe 6 months? Thank you HF for shattering my already low expectations I got 6 hours total before the internals shattered like a 90 year old hip..........projects now gonna be 2 months behind because I now have to replace it with something tryst worthy and the other tools i needed I was going to get next month has to be put off. Shame on me I knew better.

I helped to build the store in Presque Isle. I really did like the job and it was a thrill to add something like this store to the area. So didnt allot of the others that were hired on. The tools they offer are ok, it is after all a just a topical budget value tool store with there abundance of low to middle of the road power tools and cordless and air tools as well. This store like alot of others in the area when they were open was always understaffed and the thing that I really didn't like is that you couldn't buy anything there not even a bit set with out providing your life's history and I mean it, It was literal the info they take at the registers and the plans they try to make you buy (this is there bread and butter, this is where they make their money!!!) Making you believe if you dont sign up for this program then you dont get any type of warranty coverage on the tool your buying. To the point of blatantly lieing to the customer. So if you buy anything there be prepared to give the cashier everything under the sun of your own personal history and dont believe that you have to buy an extended warranty there. Its the law if you purchase anything like there tools there, there is some kind of warranty that the store has to come good for on any new tool power air or hand tool. Because this is one retailer that pushers there cashiers to be not so honest when it comes to the extended and the in store replacement warranty. Harbor freight it's not always buyer beware. And there are allot of items you need to start covering there with out your extended warranties.....😐 Really!!!!!

It's harbor freight. Lower cost store that fits perfectly with aroostook county . Why pay high prices next door qhen you can get similar tool with better warranty here. Check it out

The customer to associate rate at this store was better than most HF, they were nearby to point out the locations of items, and there was no wait to check out.
