9/30/23 - What a cute spot! I love ice cream and especially gelato. They let you try flavors before picking if you want. I went to ask for the dark chocolate and the gorgeous. He then told me do I want both which how could I say no? His positive and energy was so nice. He was so cheerful and seemed so happy to be there. The inside was cute too. It was busy but went by quick. There isn't too much space when you first get in to get the gelato but not a huge deal.

I miss gelato experience here in the USA, but this place is a great spot for gelato lovers. They had enough flavor to decide on one ice-cream for one day!Ended our Portland trip with the night desert ice cream. Staff is kind and flavors are mesmerizing. Prices are just right. Vegan Friendly.Enjoy your ice cream here whenever you visit Portland. The shop is surrounded by a large old port market and restaurants.

Great selection with unique combinations. Favorite was the Ricotta Cheese & Fig but all are great quality. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Samples are not a problem. I will return. Don't miss the best gelato in Portland.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options.

Heard about this place from a youtuber. Definitely worth the hype. The Hot Gelato Panini was delicious. I also had a medium sized Gorgeous flavor. 100 chef kisses. Come here if you want Gelato!!

I was thrilled they had pistachio!! So many gelaterias in USA don’t carry pistachio, very happy to get mine here. Subtle flavor. My bride had the almond, also delicious and delicate taste.

Amazing ! Creamy and flavorful. We had cannoli and the gorgeous flavor which was vanilla with chocolate chips and caramel on sugar cones. Once they saw our pup they offered him a cookie ! Dog friendly! Great customer service and literally the best gelato. Go here !!!! Highly recommended if we come back to Maine we will be back ! Sugar cone was delicious but once you get to the bottom the paper was really hard to take off ( I couldn’t take it off) so I had to toss the bottom. So sad cause even the cone is delicious.

Stopped by during my sister’s bachelorette weekend! I had the dark chocolate together with coconut and it was sooo good. Smooth, rich and flavorful. Also the interior was adorable and the staff was awesome! Def recommend while you’re in Portland.

We stopped by on a whim during our recent trip to Portland, and the gelato was excellent! I had a mix of coconut and cinnamon gelato – both flavors were heavenly. The staff was friendly too; I wish I could remember our server's name – he was a great kid!I highly recommend stopping by if you have a sweet tooth.

Being someone who would anytime prefer an ice cream rather than a Gelato, I totally loved the Gelato here. I went here after reading multiple reviews that this place makes the best Gelato, I'm glad I did the right thing.I had a Rafaello medium cup which tasted good. I tasted a sample of Rocher which was good but too sweet for me.

Gorgeous Gelato is your one stop shop for amazing gelato in Portland, Maine. They only have this location but I also found out that they have a trailer near Portland Head Lights that also sells their Gelato as well. Their main shop is small but cute with some indoor and outdoor seating. Service is counter service and was awesome because they let us try samples of their Gelato! Most all ice cream places have been refusing samples because of Covid but not here! The gelato was heavenly and so smooth and creamy. We felt as though we could eat it all day, every day haha. There are plenty of ice cream shops in Portland but not many gelato shops and from the many we've tried, this might just be our favorite. Try them out!My wife and I got a large waffle cone with two different scoops. My cone had Panna Cotta Caramel and Bacio. Man, were these good! The Panna Cotta Caramel was SO smooth (all of them were but this one especially). The rich, creamy flavor was so unique and delightful and with the right amount of caramel swirl too. Each flavor complemented the other and it was just too good. The Bacio is a chocolate hazelnut gelato, which some people might compare to Nutella but tastes way better. The chocolate is more of a darker chocolate than a milk chocolate base and there are small bits of hazelnut pieces mixed in. I'm not sure if they also use hazelnut butter or something in the base as well but it was also a delicious gelato.My wife had Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate and Boston Creme. The Boston cream was just like eating a Boston Cream Pie and the Sea Salt Caramel was rich with lots of caramel and little mini chocolate chips throughout. I don't have much to say about hers as I only tried a bite or two of each flavor but I can say that I loved each flavor and everything that we had from Gorgeous Gelato!On a side note, my wife and I wanted to eat outside and it had just rained and there was water all over the tables. The owner saw that we were looking to sit outside and came running out with a towel to clean the tables for us so we could sit without getting our pants wet. That was very nice of them especially since we didn't have to ask. That's customer service.This place also serves cannolis, pints to go, whoopie pies, cakes, cookies, ice cream cannolis and more! With how amazing the gelato was I can only imagine how awesome everything else was. I always have to go here when I'm in Portland. They never disappoint! I got the tiramisu flavor and my husband got the gorgeous. So yummy.

This gelato was in my local produce store and I was extremely surprised. I tried the Oreo flavor and was blown away by how good it was. I was nervous at first because there are no Oreo chunks, but I soon realized that they blend the product together (mind-blowing). It is the perfect blend of flavors. This is going to be my new go-to. I'm excited to try it in person.

Delicious coffee and chocolate chip cannoli. The line out the door shows their popularity considering how many gelato/cannoli shops are around. This is the place to go. Cannoli tasted a bit too lemony for our taste, but the texture was on point. The pistachio was good, but the chocolate chip was definitely a favorite.

A local favorite! My wife and I take everyone who visits and we always make a stop when we are around, no matter if we just ate or if it’s 3pm or 9pm! Staff is always amazing and they are LGBTQ+ friendly! The flavors for the geltato change but the oreo, sea salt caramel, coconut, and panacotta are some of our favorites!! I don’t recommend using the restroom here though as it needs a bit of updating. Everything else is amazing though! They also sell coffee, adult beverages, baked goods, and take home containers of gelato and sorbet.

This place was such a great find! My friends and I fell in love with their flavors. The gelato is fresh, and just so delicious. We had the limoncello,fior di lati, maine blueberry, mokacino, and white chocolate. They change flavors daily! We loved it so much we go back each time we go to Portland.

I walked in based on Yelp reviews. My gelato however was disappointing. They have very basic flavors and the taste was just OK. It was an average gelato place. I would try different flavor if I’d go back. They had plenty of tables available.
