I bought a Lhasa Poodle on 4 November from Mainely Puppies Plus. It was a perfect experience. We were treated with complete courtesy by the owners. The establishment is very clean and well maintained. The price range is incredibly reasonable.Our puppy is healthy, happy and very friendly and open to new experiences. He’s been such a great addition to our family that my parents went and bought two puppies today. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a responsible and ethical breeder who is in the business for much more than just the money. If you’re wondering if this is the right place to get your perfect puppy, the answer is YES!!

We got both our pups from Steve. A lhasa-poo (now 4) and shih-poo (now 1). They both have wonderful personalities and are happy, healthy pups. Before covid, you could go in and have full view of the puppies in the facility, which has since changed to knowing which puppy you want to view and having them bring that puppy out. I'm sure this is less stressful for the pups compared to seeing people walk by. It warms my heart seeing all the "sold" notes on the website. These are the sweetest pups, and they deserve good homes!

We had a wonderful experience when we purchased our Chiweenie named Moxie at Mainely Puppies last July. She is so adorable, lively, playful and sweet. Steve was very nice and they brought out the puppies I requested to see. The process to buy her was seamless and the communication was great. Just because they are “mixed breeds” doesn’t make them unhealthy pups! Just because they breed dogs and sell them doesn’t make them a puppy mill. We adore our dog and will happily be repeat customers soon!

Wonderful experience! We went to look at the yorkie poos and they were super helpful in helping us select the right one for us. Didnt feel rushed and the actual sale was easy and super quick.We picked a little boy and he is super happy and healthy! He has the best personality and is just what we wanted. Would recommend if your looking for a small breed pup.

Really nice place so long as you don't have a stick up your rear about mixed breed pups. Reviews calling this place a mill are out of line. The people here are very friendly and the pups are all clean and well cared for. The prices they ask are very reasonable and reflect the type of pup you are getting. We got a Lhasa-Shih Mix and he is wonderful. We have no intention on getting a DNA test for him because that's ridiculous.

I genuinely believe that i have the cutest dog in the world. I’ve had Phoenix for 2 years and he is a happy and healthy pomchi. Im constantly getting stopped because people cannot believe how cute he is. His markings are so special, his dad is a parti pom and mom long hair chi. He is about 7-8 pounds. Our experience at Mainely was good. We were sent home with puppy chow and a toy. Personally i don’t like puppy chow so we switched him to Earthborn Holistic Unrefined. We also trained him to go potty outside which took about a year of hard work since the puppies are trained on pee pads, but that depends on your preference. We crate trained Phoenix immediately and he LOVES his crate. it’s his safe space, I keep the door open and he goes in to sleep when i’m gone. Would’ve liked to see pics of the parents and it was a bit of a gamble, hard to ask for a lot of update pics because they are so busy with a lot of pups. Regardless I couldn’t be happier with my baby boy!

I bought my baby abbie girl from them. And I couldn't of been happier with their love n care of her till I arrived to get her!!! They are great people n really care about the safety of all pups in their store. I will be picking up my male mini dashound this Saturday for abbie to have a mate n im so glad they helped me make that possible. I would highly recommend them.

Amazingly great puppies!!I got one sweet, adorable puppy that I love so much!!!.. Then I was so happy with him that I went back and got another puppy. They absolutely love each other and I am over the moon happy to have both of them together. 💕 They take great care of their puppies at Mainely Puppies! We love our little snuggle bug! We purchased him at 12 weeks and now almost 4. Hard to believe how fast the time has gone. He is the apple of our eyes. I would purchase another from Mainely puppies plus again in the future! They were great to deal with.

I got my puppy here and he does have hip dysplasia but I knew I wasn't gonna get cream of the crop dog when I went here to so I got exactly what I paid for and I'm happy

Gracie Lu is 16 weeks old. She has been such a joy. Her DNA came back 100% French Bulldog with a clean bill of health. No skin issues or allergies. I was not concerned, my vet recommended it because of skin issues and allergies in frenchies.Steve at Mainely Puppies was wonderful to deal with, always prompt at answering my many questions and emails. We will definitely get another in a year.Thank you Steve!

I thought I wrote a review already but don't see it here. My sweet puppy will be 3 at the end of March. He is the best little dog and we couldn't be happier with him. He is a Lhasapoo. We had a great experience purchasing here and my neighbor has a second dog from Steve. Her first died after many years of wonderful companionship. She is also happy with her little puppy. All three dogs I've known from Mainely Puppies have been the best tempered and sweetest dogs imaginable so Steve must be doing something right! Thanks, Steve and Happy New Year to you!

We named him Prince - Ive been on Craigslist - scamed plenty of times - ive read reviews on other pet shops & was scared of how many deaths happpened - when I read the reviews on Mainely Puppies Plus I felt more at ease - when I looked at there site - right away I fell in love. The same day I made an deposit on Prince & picked him up that week. The owners answered each question I had.The sent us home with 2 toys & a quart size of dog food for Prince. Very friendly & all of the puppies seem very happy.My favorite part is the book they have with all of the customer reviews about there experience & how much they love their dog

I realize any business can get a certain number of poor reviews from disgruntled people; however, I am less than impressed by the responses of the bad reviews by the owners of this business! I picked up my puppy from Mainely Puppies Saturday before Christmas.It's a very professional.Took the puppy to the vet on Tuesday after she's very healthy.Of course everybody at the veterinary hospital thought she was awesome as do I.She Is bright, active, intelligent. I'm very happy.The vet said she did have parasites in her stool which is not unusual for puppies.Steve honored his agreement to pay for those prescriptions very quickly and promptly I very much appreciate that.Thanks Steve. 😊

My family is so happy with our yorkie poo puppy, Maizy. The facility was clean and all puppies we saw were well cared for. The staff was helpful and allowed us to look at multiple puppies, while taking the time to make sure we could make a decision that felt right. Mainely Puppies Plus provided us with a healthy/happy puppy and I would highly recommend them.

My husband searched thru the night to find a reputable place for a puppy for me. He called this place up last minute and they waited for us to drive 2 hours! I was able to use the bathroom which was nice bc it was a long drive! Lol very clean and didn't smell awful considering puppies haha. All the puppies were sweet and the woman actually had to move a couple out of the way so I could get to mine bc they were rushing at me lol. My girl BB kiddo has been a joy! She is the sweetest lil girl ever and such a spit fire! She matches me well! She's maintained her health, her temperament and behavior are great.she does well at the groomers and vets. She also loves her 2 kitty brothers her big dog brother and her Rat sister Vee... she really loves licking the rat haha.Im so happy we found this place and now have BB.

This breeder is, hands down, one of the best around. My puppy is healthy and happy with a wonderful temperament. I picked her up the Saturday before Christmas . She was fully weaned, having nursed with mom for a generous amount of time. I saw the love between my puppy and the owners. She had 3 sets of shots. Many breeders do 2. She came home with toys and food and a kiss goodbye from Haddie. My Veterinarian did a thorough exam and was surprised to find that puppy didn’t have any parasites, which are actually quite commonOverall I’m very much impressed with this business and even more so with my sweet little girl. I have recommended Mainely Puppies with to many others who have either lost a pet or want to grow their dog family with a new member. We named our Yorkie Pom Shiobhan and call her Shiv ...So happy I discovered Mainely Puppies

From the first phone call , to the meeting and till the day we picked up our 2 puppies, Steve and Hattie were wonderful. They answered all our questions and went over everything with us very carefully. They send us home with 2 bags of food and 4 toys. Our 2 boys had their vet appointment the following week and got a clean bill of health. My vet commended on how healthy they both were. Thank you Steve and Hattie for doing a great job. I would highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for a healthy, happy fur baby.

I am extremely disappointed in our experience with Mainely Puppies! We drove 2 hours to visit a puppy today and they were not prepared for us to be there even though we called ahead and reserved a time. When they finally arrived to greet us they were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The puppy we went to see was terrified of people and was shaking in the woman's arms. The woman eventually brought a second puppy who as well was terrified of people. When we asked if there were any other puppies with larger personalities and she shrugged us off. It is obvious from this experience that these dogs have NEVER been properly socialized and handled.Reply to Response from owner: Ummm, okay, sure. That 's what happened......regardless of your delusional opinions of my family and myself the matter at hand is the blatant disregard for the proper care and socialization of the puppies. My heart bleeds for them. Poor little things. 30+ dogs in a doublewide - that should say enough.
