We wanted to stop for breakfast at Cove cafe on our way home to Boston from vacationing in Kennebunkport but they were really busy. Since it was a rainy day they couldn’t do outdoor dining & inside is tiny.Disappointed because we read great reviews about it. Determined to go back to this cute cafe in charming Perkins Cove, we made the 1 1/2 trip to Ogunquit last weekend & weren’t sorry! Since we got there 15 minutes before closing, it wasn’t busy & we promptly got a table outside. Service was fast & our omelettes were delicious. Loved the well seasoned potatoes with it.We saw someone at the next table ordering a bunch of stuff & next time I’m getting their breakfast sandwiches because they looked so good!

What a great little find in Perkins Cove Maine. Family run and cozy relaxed atmosphere. The food is really good too. The corn beef hash was amazing and the waffles were good too.Will be definitely coming back next summer!

Absolutely delicious French Toast with Blueberries. 10/10 would recommend. Visited the Cove Cafe 3x in the span of a couple days because the breakfast is just that good!! Small space, but the service was great. Can’t wait to go back!

Great breakfast, respectable prices, courteous service staff. Knotty pune interior with nautical decor was what we craved in a breakfast nook in Ogunquit. I had corned beef hash and eggs and they were cooked to perfection. She had an two eggs and a fresh fruit bowl that overflowed with fresh fruit. Give this place a try.

We ended up here totally by chance, after the restaurant right across from our hotel was closed to serve a tour bus, and were so glad things worked out that way! The hostess was extremely friendly, pouring our coffee as we sat down and giving us ideas for what to do with our day. We took her recommendations and got the blueberry Belgian waffle, corned beef hash (made in-house by the chef) and crabcake Benedict. Everything was so good and obviously homemade! And after spending a week on vacation in various parts of Maine, we thought the prices here were pretty reasonable.

This is a special little place at the entrance of Perkins Cove. It was a chilly morning and it was so cozy and warm inside. (I could have sat there another hour after we finished our breakfasts.) We both had the Spinach Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I've been there before; it's always a warm and welcoming experience with delicious breakfast foods, including special seafood choices if you're in the mood! Always a good choice for breakfast in Ogunquit.

This is the cutest little breakfast place in Perkins Cove! Expect to wait a little bit for a table, but it's definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I couldn't recommend it more. We will certainly be back.

Slow service but the food makes up for it. Wonderful waitresses and an jaw dropping veiw of perkmens cove. A definite place to be early morning for breakfast. One recomendation would be to add outdoor seating, maybe some bestro seating. Furthermore a wonderful place to go. Recommended for anyone.

Beautiful little restaurant at a nice bend in the road right before Perkins Cove. Nestled in the trees, warm inviting super cozy. The food is excellent, coffee ☕️ hot and good, friendly and super fast service 👍

Every year, when my family visits Ogunquit, we look forward to having breakfast at the Cove Cafe. The food is delicious and there is a lot of it. Service is great, too. I highly recommend this place. It is walkable within Perkins Cove.Kid-friendliness: This is a very casual little cafe, a good place to take kids to enjoy a wonderful breakfast.

Hype surrounds this small café set in scenic Ogunquit. The waitstaff is friendly and the cafe itself is quite lovely. But, be forewarned that you will wait quite a while for a table at this small spot, and it may not be worth it. The food is average for a café and travelers are placing too much emphasis on location, not on food quality. The crabcakes were soggy and coffee excessively priced for a café, yet maybe I ordered wrong. If you're looking to eat breakfast here, go very early to avoid the wait and stick to breakfast staples that don't contain seafood. Also, you may want to get your coffee somewhere else.
